The University of Kent (formerly the University of Kent at Canterbury, abbreviated as UKC or Cantuar. for post-nominals) is a public research university based in Kent, United Kingdom. It was founded in 1965 and is recognised as a plate glass university. It is a member of the Santander Network of European universities encouraging social and economic development,Association of Commonwealth Universities and Universities UK.
The university has a rural campus north of Canterbury situated within 300 acres (1.2 km2) of park land, housing over 6,000 students, as well as additional sites in Medway and Tonbridge in Kent and European postgraduate centres in Brussels, Athens, Rome and Paris.
In 2014 the university was ranked 80th in the world by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings in Top 100 Universities Under 50 Years. Additionally, Times Higher Education also ranked the university 20th in the United Kingdom in 2015 though aggregating multiple ranking results into a comprehensive table of ranking tables. It is among a group of institutions to consistently score 90% or above for overall satisfaction in the National Student Survey. In 2013, nearly 28,000 students applied to the university through UCAS and 5,190 accepted offers of places. The average UCAS score achieved by entrants in 2014/15 was 363.

Kent
Kent /ˈkɛnt/ is a county in South East England and one of the home counties. It borders Greater London to the north west, Surrey to the west, East Sussex to the south west, and across the Thames Estuary is the county of Essex. The county town is Maidstone.
Canterbury Cathedral in Kent has been the seat of the Archbishop of Canterbury, leader of the Church of England, since the conversion of England to Christianity by Saint Augustine in the 6th century.
Between London and the Strait of Dover, which separates it from mainland Europe, Kent has seen both diplomacy and conflict, ranging from the Leeds Castle peace talks of 1978 and 2004 to the Battle of Britain in World War II.
England relied on the county's ports to provide warships through much of its history; the Cinque Ports in the 12th–14th centuries and Chatham Dockyard in the 16th–20th centuries were of particular importance. France can be seen clearly in fine weather from Folkestone and the White Cliffs of Dover. Hills in the form of the North Downs and the Greensand Ridge span the length of the county and in the series of valleys in between and to the south are most of the county's 26 castles.

Hello new students! Explore Canterbury with us! It's about a 40 minute leisurely walk from University of Kent towards town centre, so we're showing next year's cohort what living here will look like! It's like an enchanted forest - rabbits, ducks, geese, foxes, and other birds everywhere! We even catch a magpie on film, which is definitely new if you're moving from North America to UK for the first time! Town centre is basically the downtown area for Canterbury, it's got all the shopping you'll need. Enjoy the clips and hope you have fun living here too :)

既然对认证的由来有了理解，接下来就是什么是学历学位认证:所谓国外学历学位认证是指教育部留学服务中心根据归国留学生提出的申请，鉴别国外学历学位证书或者高等教育文凭颁发机构的合法性，甄别国外大学或其他高等教育机构颁发的证书的真实性，对国外学历学位与我国学历学位的对应关系提出认证咨询意见，为通过认证的国外高等教育文凭出具相应的书面认证证明，对未通过认证的证书或高等教育文凭出具未获得认证通知。上面打横线的是在网上拷贝的，其实简单的说就是：第一检测你读学校的正规性和合法性，第二看你毕业证学位证的真假，然后就是你获得的证书与国内的等级对应。
那么办理认证需要的材料：
1、二寸彩色证件照，
2、学历学位证书文凭的原件复印件，
3、认证学位完整正式的成绩单原件复印件，
4、证书成绩单的翻译件（须正规翻译公司翻译）
5、留学期间的所有护照原件复印件，
6、中国驻外使馆开具《留学回国人员证明》，(PS:现在办理认证可以不提供）
7、出国前最高学历的原件复印件。很多童鞋就是在这个地方吃亏了，人家留服的老师都是厅局级单位的工作人员，不会给你解释太多，自己去翻译了，直接给你说不行。
认证流程：网上注册→递交材料→初审→评估→复核→确认结果→发布→后续
认证的原则：获得的学位学历 学习时间 学习方式 学习经历的连贯性衔接性以及逻辑性。
获得的学历学位：主要是看真假 和颁发单位的合法性；
学习时间：护照签证上不能在学习期间有长时间的离境记录；
学习方式：必须是全日制的学习，函授和工读都不予认可；

This event marked the launch of a branch of the British Society of Gerontology in Northern Ireland (BSGNI). The aim of the society is to increase awareness of social gerontology, and to develop a vibrant, cross sector, social gerontology research network within Northern Ireland.
Professor Julia Twigg (University of Kent) will focus on her research on clothes, fashion and age.

Nhân chuyến thăm và làm việc với trường Đại học Bách Khoa Hà Nội, giáo sư James Banner,trường Đại học Kent, Vương Quốc Anh sẽ trình bày 2 seminar về ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND CULTUREtại Viện Ngoại Ngữ - trường ĐH Bách Khoa Hà Nội. Seminar 1: NGHE &HI;ỂU NGƯỜI BẢN NGỮ -- CẢI THIỆN CÁC KỸ NĂNG NGHE HIỂU TIẾNG ANH
Bạn có gặp khó khăn trong việc hiểu người bản ngữ Anh và Mỹ khi giao tiếp? Bạn đã từng tham dự các buổi hội thảo, xem phim, nghe giảng hay tham gia vào các tình huống giao tiếp xã hội bằng tiếng Anh và không thể thể hiện được mình?
Seminar kéo dài 1 tiếng đồng hồ này sẽ cung cấp cho các bạn những kỹ năng cơ bản và hiệu quả để cải thiện kỹ năng nghe hiểu của bạn. Các bạn sẽ được chỉ dẫn các cách để xử lý những yếu tố ngôn ngữ khó trong cách nói của người Anh và người Mỹ. Những kiến thức này thực sự cần thiết nếu bạn đang ấp ủ giấc mơ một ngày nào đó du học tại Vương Quốc Anh hay chỉ đơn giản nếu bạn muốn nghe tiếng Anh tốt hơn.
Seminar 2: CẢI THIỆN CÁC KỸ NĂNG VIẾT TIẾNG ANH HỌC THUẬT
Bạn có gặp khó khăn khi bắt tay vào viết một bài luận hay một báo cáo bằng tiếng Anh?
Kỹ năng Viết tiếng Anh học thuật luôn là một thách thức lớn với bất kỳ ai học ngoại ngữ này.
Giáo sư Banner sẽ trình bày những phương pháp hữu dụng và thực tế nhằm giúp các bạn nâng cao cách tổ chức một bài viết, khả năng liên kết các ý tưởng trong bài, cũng như năng lực diễn đạt suy nghĩ của mình một cách rõ ràng và chính xác. Ngoài ra, các bạn cũng sẽ được hướng dẫn cách tóm tắt thông tin từ các nguồn tài liệu tham khảo để tránh sao chép và đạo văn.
Với kinh nghiệm chuyên môn sâu sắc, khả năng thuyết trình chuyên nghiệp và tình cảm tốt đẹp dành cho trường Đại học Bách Khoa Hà Nội nói chungvà Viện Ngoại Ngữ nói riêng, bài nói chuyện của giáo sư Banner hứa hẹn mang lại những kinh nghiệm giảng dạy và học tập ngoại ngữ thú vị và bổ ích.
