Kings of Horror presents: Rise of the Animals
After infiltrating an all girl's slumber party in a remote cabin, Wolf, an awkward pizza delivery driver spends a passionate evening with a beautiful teen named Samantha. The next morning Samantha is gone, and the cabin in the woods is attacked by a family of deer. After a brutal massacre the cabin is bathed in the blood and gruesome remains of deer and teenage girl. Wolf, his best friend Jake, and Jake's sister Rachel are the only one's left standing. Wolf finds Samantha's cell phone a midst the blood bath, and the trio set out on an epic, cross-country journey to return the lost phone to the girl of Wolf's dreams. As animals across the globe turn on humanity and society quickly collapses into chaos, Wolf's determined spirit pushes him forward against all odds. But is she worth it?

Hoople, North Dakota
Hoople is a city in Walsh County, North Dakota, United States. The population was 242 at the 2010 census. Hoople, named for early settler Alan Hoople, was founded in 1889. Hoople's nickname is "Tatertown."
Hoople is probably best known outside North Dakota as the location of University of Southern North Dakota at Hoople, the fictional university created by Peter Schickele. (Presumably it is an extension campus of a fictional University of Southern North Dakota, since the real Hoople is located in the northeastern, not southern, part of the state.)
Geography
Hoople is located at 48°32′7″N 97°38′13″W / 48.53528°N 97.63694°W / 48.53528; -97.63694 (48.535224, −97.636818).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.36 square miles (0.93 km2), all of it land.
Demographics
2010 census
As of the census of 2010, there were 242 people, 115 households, and 63 families residing in the city. The population density was 672.2 inhabitants per square mile (259.5/km2). There were 135 housing units at an average density of 375.0 per square mile (144.8/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 93.0% White, 6.6% from other races, and 0.4% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 9.1% of the population.

All the Young Dudes
"All the Young Dudes" is a song written by David Bowie, originally recorded and released as a single by Mott the Hoople in 1972. NME editors Roy Carr and Charles Shaar Murray have described the track as "one of that rare breed: rock songs which hymn the solidarity of the disaffected without distress or sentimentality". In 2004, Rolling Stone rated "All the Young Dudes" No. 253 in its list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time and on its 2010 update was ranked at number 256. It is also one of The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll.
Composition
Regarded as one of glam rock's anthems, the song originated after Bowie came into contact with Mott the Hoople's bassist Peter Watts and learned that the band was ready to split due to continued lack of commercial success. When Mott rejected his first offer of a composition, "Suffragette City" (from The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars), Bowie wrote "All the Young Dudes" in short order specially for them, allegedly sitting cross-legged on the floor of a room in Regent Street, London, in front of the band's lead singer, Ian Hunter.

The Young Dudes are an indie rock band from California.
Background
On December 11, 2010 the LimbeckTwitter feed was updated to say "Robb and Patrick have a new band called The Young Dudes." The Young Dudes played their first concert, a house show, with Hellogoodbye in Silver Lake, California on December 10, 2010.
The Young Dudes released their first single, "I Got Nothing Cool" on December 12, 2010 as a free download.
In August 2011, The Young Dudes played two shows in San Francisco at The Fillmore with Motion City Soundtrack.

After infiltrating an all girl's slumber party in a remote cabin, Wolf, an awkward pizza delivery driver spends a passionate evening with a beautiful teen named Samantha. The next morning Samantha is gone, and the cabin in the woods is attacked by a family of deer. After a brutal massacre the cabin is bathed in the blood and gruesome remains of deer and teenage girl. Wolf, his best friend Jake, and Jake's sister Rachel are the only one's left standing. Wolf finds Samantha's cell phone a midst the blood bath, and the trio set out on an epic, cross-country journey to return the lost phone to the girl of Wolf's dreams. As animals across the globe turn on humanity and society quickly collapses into chaos, Wolf's determined spirit pushes him forward against all odds. But is she worth it?

The next morning Samantha is gone, and the cabin in the woods is attacked by a family of deer. After a brutal massacre the cabin is bathed in the blood and gruesome remains of deer and teenage girl. A showcase for former Small Faces' frontman Steve Marriott and one-time Herd guitar virtuoso Peter Frampton, the hard rock outfit Humble Pie formed in Essex, England in 1969. The band recruited a new manager, Dee Anthony, who helped land them a new deal with A&M;; behind closed doors, Anthony encouraged Marriott to direct the group towards a harder-edged, grittier sound far removed from the acoustic melodies favored by Frampton. As Marriott's raw blues shouting began to dominate subsequent LPs like 1970's eponymous effort and 1971's Rock On, Frampton's role in the band he co-founded gradually diminished; finally, after a highly charged U.S. tour which yielded 1971's commercial breakthrough Performance: Rockin' the Fillmore, Frampton exited Humble Pie to embark on a solo career.
After enlisting former Colosseum guitarist Dave "Clem" Clempson to fill the void, Humble Pie grew even heavier for 1972's Smokin', their most successful album to date. However, while 1973's ambitious double studio/live set Eat It fell just shy of the Top Ten, its 1974 follow-up Thunderbox failed to crack the Top 40. After 1975's Street Rats reached only number 100 before disappearing from the charts, Humble Pie disbanded; while Shirley formed Natural Gas with Badfinger alum Joey Molland, and Clempson and Ridley teamed with Cozy Powell in Strange Brew, Marriott led Steve Marriott's All-Stars before joining a reunited Small Faces in 1977.
In 1980, Marriott and Shirley re-formed Humble Pie with ex-Jeff Beck Group vocalist Bobby Tench and bassist Anthony Jones. After a pair of LPs, 1980's On to Victory and the following year's Go for the Throat, the group mounted a troubled tour of America: after one injury-related interruption brought on when Marriott mangled his hand in a hotel door, the schedule was again derailed when the frontman fell victim to an ulcer. Soon, Humble Pie again dissolved; while Shirley joined Fastway, Marriott went into seclusion. At the dawn of the 1990s, he and Frampton made tentative plans to begin working together once more, but on April 20, 1991, Marriott died in the fire which destroyed his 16th century Arkesden cottage. Summary:
Sal Valentino has been a mainstay on the Northern California music scene for nearly half a century. His earliest bands were formed in the Bay area in 1961 and '62 and were essentially garage bands. In 1964, responding to the success of the Beatles, he formed the Beau Brummels, with songwriter Ron Elliott. The Beau Brummels were signed early on to DJ/music entrepreneur Tom Donahue's Autumn Records (where they were produced by Donahue's radio DJ associate, Sly Stone, prior to his own stardom).
The Beau Brummels burst onto the international music scene with a handful of hits that included "Laugh Laugh" and "Just A Little." The Brummels had a short but bright star during their heyday, even getting a cartoon characterization on the Flintstones. After the Beau Brummels split in 1968, Valentino formed Stoneground, a ten-piece, high-energy blues-rock-jazz outfit. Stoneground made three albums for Warner Brothers.
This recording from the Bill Graham archives is from 1973, and features Valentino's own solo band, formed weeks after the demise of Stoneground. The band would change members throughout the year, and would be put on hold in 1974 when Valentino, Elliott, and the other original members would reform the Beau Brummels.

Summary:
Sal Valentino has been a mainstay on the Northern California music scene for nearly half a century. His earliest bands were formed in the Bay area in 1961 and '62 and were essentially garage bands. In 1964, responding to the success of the Beatles, he formed the Beau Brummels, with songwriter Ron Elliott. The Beau Brummels were signed early on to DJ/music entrepreneur Tom Donahue's Autumn Records (where they were produced by Donahue's radio DJ associate, Sly Stone, prior to his own stardom).
The Beau Brummels burst onto the international music scene with a handful of hits that included "Laugh Laugh" and "Just A Little." The Brummels had a short but bright star during their heyday, even getting a cartoon characterization on the Flintstones. After the Beau Brummels split in 1968, Valentino formed Stoneground, a ten-piece, high-energy blues-rock-jazz outfit. Stoneground made three albums for Warner Brothers.
This recording from the Bill Graham archives is from 1973, and features Valentino's own solo band, formed weeks after the demise of Stoneground. The band would change members throughout the year, and would be put on hold in 1974 when Valentino, Elliott, and the other original members would reform the Beau Brummels.
