This impassioned talk explains how students who identify with Hip Hop culture have been ignored or deemed deficient in schools because of mainstream misconceptions associated with Hip Hop culture. Through Hip Hop, these students embody the characteristics of grit, social and emotional intelligence, and the act improvisation- all of which are proven to be predictors for academic success. So where is the break down between formalized education and the potential for success for these students? Dr. Love argues that ignoring students' culture in the classroom is all but an oversight; it's discrimination and injustice that plays out in our culture in very dangerous ways.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. ü Begin with praise and worship
ü Lord I thank you that wisdom, knowledge and understanding comes from you
ü Thank you that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me
ü Thank you that if God is on my side, no one can be against me
ü You have created me to be a victor, and not a victim; the head and not the tail
ü I am created to glorify you in all that I do
ü I surrender to you, and I repent of sins I have committed against you (state the sins, more so if you have been taken to witchdoctors to be assisted to learn)

Academic achievement
Academic achievement or (academic) performance is the outcome of education — the extent to which a student, teacher or institution has achieved their educational goals.
Academic achievement is commonly measured by examinations or continuous assessment but there is no general agreement on how it is best tested or which aspects are most important — procedural knowledge such as skills or declarative knowledge such as facts.
In California, the achievement of schools is measured by the Academic Performance Index.
Individual differences influencing academic performance
Individual differences in academic performance have been linked to differences in intelligence and personality. Students with higher mental ability as demonstrated by IQ tests and those who are higher in conscientiousness (linked to effort and achievement motivation) tend to achieve highly in academic settings. A recent meta-analysis suggested that mental curiosity (as measured by typical intellectual engagement) has an important influence on academic achievement in addition to intelligence and conscientiousness.

Names and titles of Jesus in the New Testament
Two names and a variety of titles are used to refer to Jesus in the New Testament.
In Christianity, the two names Jesus and Emmanuel that refer to Jesus in the New Testament have salvific attributes. After the Crucifixion of Jesus the early Church did not simply repeat his messages, but began to focus on him, proclaim him, and try to understand and explain his message: the proclaimer became the proclaimed.
One element of the process of understanding and proclaiming Jesus was the attribution of titles to him. Some of the titles that were gradually used in the early Church and then appeared in the New Testament were adopted from the Jewish context of the age, while others were selected to refer to, and underscore the message, mission and teachings of Jesus. In time, some of these titles gathered significant Christological significance.
Christians have attached theological significance to the Holy Name of Jesus. The use of the name of Jesus in petitions is stressed in John 16:23 when Jesus states: "If you ask the Father anything in my name he will give it you." There is widespread belief among Christians that the name Jesus is not merely a sequence of identifying symbols but includes intrinsic divine power.

Deut 28:13 The Lord will make you the head, and not the tail; you shall be only at the top, and not at the bottom-if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I am commanding you today, by diligently observing them, and if you turn not aside from any of the words that I am commanding you today …
ü Begin with praise and worship
ü Lord I thank you that wisdom, knowledge and understanding comes from you
ü Thank you that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me
ü Thank you that if God is on my side, no one can be against me
ü You have created me to be a victor, and not a victim; the head and not the tail
ü I am created to glorify you in all that I do
ü I surrender to you, and I repent of sins I have committed against you (state the sins, more so if you have been taken to witchdoctors to be assisted to learn)
ü I repent of every careless word I have spoken that I cannot pass in my academics (or you state the subject) in Jesus name
ü I repent and renounce all satanic covenants made concerning my academic excellence or my mind in Jesus name
ü I delete every handwriting of the enemy over my life and my academic excellence, be it in the land, sea or air in Jesus name
