In New York, he attended the American Musical & Dramatic Academy and supported himself with odd jobs such as waiting tables, building sets at the Metropolitan Opera, and selling tires.
After several years in New York, he traveled to Europe and performed as a dancer in a production of West Side Story at La Scala in Milan, Italy. In Berlin, Germany, he played "Doody" in Grease.
His big break came in the 2003 independent film Camp, in which he played the lead character Vlad. In 2004, he co-starred in the MTV film Monster Island with Carmen Electra. In 2005, he starred as the title character in the gay romantic comedy The Mostly Unfabulous Social Life of Ethan Green.
Wild Horses were a British rock band, active during the late 1970s and early 1980s.
Wild Horses was formed in the summer of 1978 by ex-Thin Lizzy guitarist Brian Robertson and ex-Rainbow bassist Jimmy Bain. At an early stage, the line-up featured former Stone the Crows and Wings guitarist Jimmy McCulloch and former Small Faces drummer Kenney Jones, but eventually stabilized with the addition of drummer Clive Edwards (ex-Pat Travers, Uli Roth) and guitarist/keyboardist Neil Carter (ex-Wilder, Gilbert O'Sullivan). This line-up recorded the Trevor Rabin-produced eponymous album in 1980, released by EMI who signed the band after their 1979 Reading Festival appearance.
Carter left the band in August 1980 after the band's UK tour with Ted Nugent in order to join UFO and later Gary Moore. His replacement was guitarist John Lockton (ex-Next Band, Red Alert) whose first appearance was on the band's Japanese tour in the autumn of 1980 followed by the release of the Stand Your Ground album in the spring of 1981.
Chemistry is the third studio album by British all-female pop group Girls Aloud. It was released in the United Kingdom on 5 December 2005 by Polydor Records. After the success of What Will the Neighbours Say?, the album was again entirely produced by Brian Higgins and his production team Xenomania again. Chemistry is a loose concept album which details celebrity lifestyle and "what it's like to be a twentysomething girl in London." A number of the songs notably avoid the typical verse-chorus form of pop music, instead making use of unusual structures.
Chemistry was widely acclaimed by a number of contemporary music critics upon its release. Despite a relatively low chart position (peaking at 11, it is the lowest charting release by the group), the album yielded four top ten singles and was certified platinum in the United Kingdom and Ireland, selling over 390,000 copies. The album was followed by the Chemistry Tour, Girls Aloud's first concert tour to reach arenas.
Wild Horses is an American country music band composed of Lon Holland (accordion, percussion), Steve Kellough (bass guitar), Michael Blake Mahler (lead guitar, vocals), Ralph McCauley (drums), Angela Rae (lead vocals), and Chris Sigmon (Dobro). Mahler and Rae are husband and wife, and guitarist Joe Lee Koenig was formerly a member.
Founded in 1989 in the state of Texas, the band signed to Epic Records in 2002, releasing their debut single "I Will Survive" that year. The song went on to peak at No. 46 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) charts, and was included on a compilation album entitled Dancin' with Thunder, which was issued in association with Professional Bull Riders. An album, Frontier Free for All, was released in 2003 on Persimmon Records.
Daniel is a masculine given name and a surname of Hebrew origin. It means, "God is my judge", and derives from two early biblical figures, primary among them Daniel from the Book of Daniel. It is a common given name for males, and is also used as a surname. It is also the basis for various derived given names and surnames.
The name evolved into over 100 different spellings in countries around the world. Nicknames (Dan, Danny) are common in both English and Hebrew, although in some instances "Dan" may be a complete given name rather than a nickname. The name "Daniil" (Даниил) is common in Russia. Feminine versions (Danielle, Daniela, Daniella, Dani, Danitza) are prevalent as well. The Dutch names "Daan" and "Daniël" are also variations of Daniel. A related surname developed as a patronymic, Daniels. Other surnames derived from "Daniel" include McDaniel and Danielson.
In the United States, the U.S. Social Security Administration reports that Daniel has peaked as the fifth most popular name for newborns in 1985, 1990, 2007, and 2008. The U.S. Census Bureau reported that in the 2000 census, "Daniels" was the 182nd most common surname in the U.S., while "McDaniel" was ranked at 323, and "Daniel" (without a final "s") was ranked at 380.
"Daniel" is a song by English recording artist Bat for Lashes, from her second studio album, Two Suns. It is her best selling single to date, selling over 46,000 copies worldwide. The song was announced as the lead single from Two Suns in January 2009, then released as a digital download single on 1 March 2009, and as a 7" vinyl single on 6 April 2009. The track was written by Natasha Khan and produced by David Kosten, as with all tracks on the album. Ira Wolf Tuton from Yeasayer provided the bass lines for the song and Khan did the rest of the instrumentation herself. Khan said in an interview with The Sun newspaper that "Daniel" is based on a fictional character that she fell in love with as a teenager. The single's cover features Khan with an image of the character Daniel LaRusso, from the film The Karate Kid, painted on her back. A character much like LaRusso also features at the end of the music video which goes with the song. The B-side of the 7" is a cover version of a 1980 single by The Cure.
Daniel is an English department store chain and Royal Warrant holder, with its flagship store situated in central Windsor. It was established in 1901 by Walter James Daniel, and is privately owned.

I feel these four walls closin' in
Face up against the glass
I'm lookin' out, hmm
Is this my life I'm wonderin'
It happens so fast
How do I turn this thing around?
Is this the bed I chose to make?
It's greener pastures I'm thinkin' about
Hmm, wide open spaces far away
All I want is the wind in my hair
To face the fear but not feel scared
Wild horses I wanna be like you
Throwin' caution to the wind, I'll run free too
Wish I could recklessly love like I'm longin' to
I wanna run with the wild horses
Run with the wild horses, oh
Yea, yea
I see the girl I wanna be
Riding bare back, carefree
Along for shore
If only that someone was me
Jumpin' head first, head long
Without a thought
To act and down the consequence
How I wish it could be that easy?
But fear surrounds me like a fence
I wanna break free
All I want is the wind in my hair
To face the fear, but not feel scared
Ooh, wild horses I wanna be like you
Throwing caution to the wind, I'll run free too
Wish I could recklessly love like I'm longin' to
Wanna run with the wild horses
Run with the wild horses
I wanna run too
Recklessly emboundin' myself before you
I wanna open up my heart
Telling how I feel
Ohh, wild horses I wanna be like you
Throwing caution to the wind, I'll run free too
Wish I could recklessly love like I'm longin' to
I wanna run with the wild horses
Run with the wild horses
Run with the wild horses
Ohh, yea, yea
