Chris is a short form of various names including Christopher, Christian, Christina, Christine, and Christos. Unlike these names, however, it does not indicate the person's gender although it is much more common for males to have this name than it is for females.
It is the preferred form of the full name of such notable individuals as Chris Tucker and Chris Penn. To find an article about one of these people, see List of all pages beginning with "Chris".
The word is also part of phrases, including Tropical Storm Chris, Ruth's Chris Steak House, and many more which refer to notable people, places, and things. For a list of these, see All pages with titles containing chris.
Tripping Forward is a 2009 comedy film starring Chris Fogleman and directed by Marcus Nash from a screenplay by Fogleman and Nash. It also stars William Gregory Lee and Amber Benson and features Ed Begley, Jr., Angela Kinsey and actress/model Sung Hi-Lee.
Ford Coleman (Chris Fogleman) is a young actor trying to start his career in Los Angeles. His friend Tripp (William Gregory Lee) has already given up making it in the music business, and now takes drugs and lives off of Ford. When Ford's money runs out, Tripp comes up with the idea of selling drugs to supermodels to make money, and Ford goes along so they won't be evicted, and he can keep taking acting classes from James Comey (Ed Begley, Jr.) with the girl of his dreams, Gwen (Amber Benson)
Edward James "Ed" Begley, Sr. (March 25, 1901 – April 28, 1970) was an American actor of theatre, radio, film, and television.
Begley was born in Hartford, Connecticut, the son of Hannah (née Clifford) and Michael Joseph Begley, Irish immigrants. After he dropped out of school as a fifth-grader, Begley ran away from home several times, going to work for "carnivals, fairs, and small circuses." Later he sold brushes, delivered milk and served in the United States Navy.
Begley began his career as a Broadway and radio actor while in his teens. He appeared in the hit musical Going Up on Broadway in 1917 and in London the next year. He later acted in roles as Sgt. O'Hara in the radio show The Fat Man. His radio work included Stroke of Fate and a period as Charlie Chan amongst other roles. He also starred in the 1950s radio program Richard Diamond, Private Detective, playing Lieutenant Walter Levinson, head of homicide at the 5th Precinct, Manhattan. In the late 1940s, he began appearing regularly in supporting film roles. He was elected a member of The Lambs in 1943.

Billy Morrison is an English guitarist, singer and actor who plays guitar with Billy Idol and performs with the Los Angeles-based cover band Royal Machines (and previously with Camp Freddy). Morrison previously fronted the hard rock act Circus Diablo and has been a member of The Cult, Stimulator, Doheny and Into a Circle.
Morrison co-hosted Indie 103.1's Camp Freddy Radio, with Dave Navarro, until its retirement in 2008.
Morrison was born in the UK and is an only child. He was a member of the indie rock band Into a Circle; however, his consistent abuse of drugs led to a long period of inactivity until he cleaned up and formed Stimulator in 1995.
Stimulator signed to Geffen Records and recorded an album that was never released. However, in 2008, Morison released the album under his own name: "when I read about Tunecore, and when the business started to lend itself to home releases – the indie, DIY approach – I wanted to finally release it. All the hard copies sold out and it still does good business on iTunes. I would call that a success."

TRIPPING FORWARD is an incredibly entertaining comedy about two roommates in Hollywood that make the unfortunate, yet hysterical mistake of selling drugs to supermodels to make ends meet and pursue their dreams of stardom! While Ford (Chris Fogleman, "Art School Confidential") struggles with the fact that his only success is in commercials and is desperately trying to advance his career as a film actor, Tripp (William Gregory Lee, "Dante's Cove", "Dark Angel") is still living in the memory of his rock star days and is very focused on staying 'rocked', usually at the expense of the necessities in life, like as paying rent and eating! When they run out of money, Tripp hatches an ill-fated plan to make some quick cash. The perfect solution: buy the excess drugs of the local mobster's super...
