Violin Sonata No. 5 (Beethoven)

The Violin Sonata No. 5 in F major, Opus 24, is a violin sonata by Ludwig van Beethoven. It is often known as the "Spring" sonata (Frühlingssonate), and was published in 1801. Its dedicatee was Count Moritz von Fries, a patron to whom the fourth violin sonata, the string quintet of the same year, and the seventh symphony were also dedicated.

The work is in four movements:

The Scherzo and its trio are particularly brief. The entire sonata takes approximately 22 minutes to perform. The "Spring Sonata" was the name given to it after Beethoven died.

Spring (hydrology)

A spring is any natural situation where water flows from an aquifer to the earth's surface. It is a component of the hydrosphere.

Formation

A spring may be the result of karst topography where surface water has infiltrated the Earth's surface (recharge area), becoming part of the area groundwater. The groundwater then travels through a network of cracks and fissure—openings ranging from intergranular spaces to large caves. The water eventually emerges from below the surface, in the form of a karst spring.

The forcing of the spring to the surface can be the result of a confined aquifer in which the recharge area of the spring water table rests at a higher elevation than that of the outlet. Spring water forced to the surface by elevated sources are artesian wells. This is possible even if the outlet is in the form of a 300-foot-deep (91 m) cave. In this case the cave is used like a hose by the higher elevated recharge area of groundwater to exit through the lower elevation opening.

AIR (nightclub)

AIR was a 2,000 capacity superclub located in Digbeth, Birmingham in England. AIR originally started out life as a spray shop for buses, when in 2000 the building was bought by Godskitchen and converted into a club, originally named CODE. In 2003, CODE had a complete refit and was renamed AIR, with an extra room of music being added to the two already in use. The club features state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems and in addition to Saturday nights Godskitchen AIR has hosted parties by Helter Skelter, Babooshka, Polysexual, Raveology, Hardcore Til I Die & Atomic Jam.

AIR is situated in an area of Digbeth synonymous with club culture, the "Custard Factory Quarter", named after the nearby Custard Factory, a centre for music and arts. Adjacent to the Custard Factory is the HMV Institute (formerly the Digbeth Institute), the original home of Godskitchen.

The 20-year lease contract originally taken out by Angel Music Group still remains in place but since 6 May 2012 the club has remained closed due to the slow demise of the Godskitchen brand caused mainly by a lack of direction and leadership and the high costs imposed by the Custard Factory landlords making it far cheaper to keep the doors closed than to open them.

AIR 107.2

AIR 107.2 is the community radio station for Weymouth and Portland. All content is broadcast from its studios in Weymouth via its transmitter located at Wyke Regis.

AIR stands for All Inclusive Radio. AIR began its life as a student radio station, streaming online and to Westfield Arts College.
It soon grew and pulled together students from across the locale to jointly broadcast on AIR. Students work towards nationally recognized accreditations whilst having the opportunity to gain real media experience.

History

2011

AIR began streaming via its website on Wednesday 11 May 2011. The station was endorsed by many celebrities including Chris Evans, Jonathan Ross, Lorraine Kelly, Carol Vorderman, Chris Jarvis and many more.
The station was officially opened by BBC Radio 1 veteran, Ed Stewart.
On the launch day of AIR - Student Radio, 200 helium filled balloons were released into the air and a live celebratory concert was held on the field of Westfield Arts College.
Many local dignitaries and media representatives attended the launch including; Dorset Echo, BBC Radio Solent, BBC Spotlight, Weymouth View and students from various schools across Dorset.

Čair Municipality

Čair (Macedonian:  Чаир , Albanian: Çair, Turkish: Çayır) is one of the ten municipalities that make up the city of Skopje, the capital of the Republic of Macedonia. Skopje's old town is located in Čair.

Geography

Čair is located along the northern (left) bank of the Vardar River, opposite the modern city center. It borders Centar Municipality to the southwest, Karpoš Municipality to the west, Butel Municipality to the north, and Gazi Baba Municipality to the east.

History

Skopje's old town, or Stara Čaršija, had been the city's main center at least since the 12th century. Turkish influence is dominant in the Stara Čaršija. The old town has not changed much over time; it is still filled with narrow cobblestone walkways and most of the Ottoman monuments are still standing.

Adventure! is a pulp action role-playing game originally printed by White Wolf Game Studio, the third and last book in the Trinity Universe line of games. The game, printed in black and white on pulp-like sepia paper to resemble a period piece, was conceived as a one-book game line, and was never supported by official supplements. Despite having a vocal fanbase, the Trinity Universe line was discontinued shortly after the game's publication; a d20 system version was released in 2004. Setting

The game is set in the 1920s and therefore at the origin of the Trinity Universe timeline. The release of unknown Telluric energy has led to the appearance of a number of particularly gifted characters, whose actions have the potential for shaping the future history of the world. The Aeon Society for Gentlemen, founded by philanthropist Maxwell Mercer, is trying to bring together as many "Inspired" characters as possible, supporting and coordinating them in their effort for the betterment of all of humanity.
