Nice
Nice (/ˈniːs/, French pronunciation: [nis]; Niçard Occitan: Niça [classical norm] or Nissa [nonstandard], Italian: Nizza or Nizza Marittima, Greek: Νίκαια, Latin: Nicaea) is the fifth most populous city in France, after Paris, Marseille, Lyon and Toulouse, and it is the capital of the Alpes Maritimes département. The urban area of Nice extends beyond the administrative city limits, with a population of about 1 million on an area of 721 km2 (278 sq mi). Located in the Côte d'Azur area on the south east coast of France on the Mediterranean Sea, Nice is the second-largest French city on the Mediterranean coast and the second-largest city in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region after Marseille. Nice is about 8 miles (13 km) from the principality of Monaco, and its airport is a gateway to the principality as well.
The city is called Nice la Belle (Nissa La Bella in Niçard), which means Nice the Beautiful, which is also the title of the unofficial anthem of Nice, written by Menica Rondelly in 1912.

The Nice
The Nice were an English progressive rock band active in the late 1960s. They blended rock, jazz and classical music and were keyboardist Keith Emerson's first commercially successful band.
The group was formed in 1967 by Emerson, Lee Jackson, David O'List and Ian Hague to back soul singer P. P. Arnold. After replacing Hague with Brian Davison, the group set out on their own, quickly developing a strong live following. The group's sound was centred on Emerson's Hammond organ showmanship and abuse of the instrument, and their radical rearrangements of classical music themes and Bob Dylan songs.
The band achieved commercial success with an instrumental rearrangement of Leonard Bernstein's "America", following which O'List left the group. The remaining members carried on as a trio, releasing several albums, before Emerson decided to split the band in early 1970 to form Emerson, Lake & Palmer. The group briefly reformed in 2002 for a series of concerts.

Frank Sinatra
Francis Albert "Frank" Sinatra (/sᵻˈnɑːtrə/; December 12, 1915 – May 14, 1998) was an American singer, actor, producer, and director, who was one of the most popular and influential musical artists of the 20th century. Sinatra's music has been considered timeless by many. He is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold more than 150 million records worldwide. Born in Hoboken, New Jersey, to Italian immigrants, he began his musical career in the swing era with Harry James and Tommy Dorsey. He found success as a solo artist after being signed by Columbia Records in 1943, becoming the idol of the "bobby soxers". He released his first album, The Voice of Frank Sinatra, in 1946. Sinatra's professional career had stalled by the early 1950s, and he turned to Las Vegas, where he became one of its best known performers as part of the Rat Pack. His career was reborn in 1953 with the success of From Here to Eternity and his subsequent Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. He signed with Capitol Records and released several critically lauded albums, including In the Wee Small Hours (1955), Songs for Swingin' Lovers! (1956), Come Fly with Me (1958), Only the Lonely (1958) and Nice 'n' Easy (1960).

UEFA Euro 2016 the Allianz Riviera stadium will be known as the Stade de Nice for the UEFA competition. The stadium is one of the venues for the UEFA Euro 2016 event and is scheduled to host the following soccer matches:
12 June 2016 - 1800 Poland v Northern Ireland (Group C)
17 June 2016 - 2100 Spain v Turkey (Group D)
22 June 2016 - 2100 Sweden v Belgium (Group E)
27 June 2016 - 2100 Runner-up Group B v Runner-up Group F (Round of 16)
The multi-use stadium in Nice, France is used mostly for soccer matches of host team OGC Nice and also for occasional home matches of rugby union club Toulon. The stadium has a capacity of 35,624 people but it is capable of accommodating up to 45,000 spectators for concerts, operas and large-scale shows. The stadium's opening was on 22 September 2013. The stadium also houses the Musee National de Sport a collection of greatest sporting exploits from each era displayed through an innovative and immersive indoor display. See the football used in the World Cup 1998 final, Marcel Cerdan's gloves, Jean-Claude Killy's skis, Yannick Noah's racket and the Olympic torches. The exhibition includes atmospheric sound installations, film projections and interactive challenges included an F1 car to test your driving skills.
Getting to Nice
Nice airport, the gateway to the Cote d'Azur, is the second busiest in France after Paris in terms of traffic.
High-speed and express trains (TGV and Corail) connect Nice and the Cote d'Azur to the rest of France and major European cities. The TGV Méditerranée completes the journey from Paris to Nice in approx. 5 hours 30 minutes, arriving in the heart of Nice. The city has three railway stations, from west to east: Saint-Agustin, Nice Ville and Riquier.
The port, overlooked by Château de Nice, is France's second busiest destination for cruise ships. Ferries also connect Nice to Corsica.

Review 1:
enjoyed "Holiday Sparks" by Shannon Stacey and "Unwrapped" by Megan Hart. Both were "feel good" romantic stories that just served to remind me why I enjoy everything both of these authors put out there. "All She Wants for Christmas" by Jaci Burton was my first read by this author; and even though I didn't care for the story, I liked JB's style and plan to try something else she has written. "Believe" by Lauren Dane was the reason I purchased this audio book in the first place. It is the sequel to "Second Chances" which I recently read and thought was excellent. Unfortunately, someone other than Gabra Zachman (who narrated SC) narrated Believe and it was all wrong. Light BDSM is an integral part of the sexual relationship between the H/h in this story and while it worked so well in SC, it sounded way too kinky and borderline creepy in Believe. Perhaps I would feel differently if I had actually read both books rather than listen to the audio versions, but switching narrators midstream was IMHO a big mistake. It was a dnf for me.
Review 2:
I loved loved loved 2/4 of these short stories. "Holiday Sparks" by Shannon Stacey and "All She Wants For Christmas" by Jaci Burton. Holiday Sparks was my hands-down favourite, I wished it was a longer book. I'll definately be reading more Shannon Stacey in the future.
The other two stories were shorter stories related to other larger stories by the author, so they were like add-ons. I felt at a disadvantage with Hart's story because I hadn't read the other story with the characters. For Dane's story, I had read the book that it's an epilogue for, and did not care to continue on with the story or the characters.
My overall feeling about this book are that it's a must read for Holiday Sparks. If you are a fan of Hart and Dane and the stories for which they provide an epilogue in this book, then, by all means I bet you'll love those contributions. But if for nothing else, Holiday Sparks is worth the purchase!
