"How could you upload youtube video in NK?".
"He uploads the video after he back to Indonesia, because he didn't dare if he upload directly from NK".
Nope..that is not entirely True..
The answer is..
I already back to Indonesia, and currently I live in Indonesia..
My first 23 videos was uploaded when I was in North Korea.
The most different thing that when I uploaded video in NK, for a 15 minute video needed two days to upload, because the internet there was unstable due to electricity on off several times in a day..I can’t subscribe for cellular internet mobile because its way too expensive and..not reliable too...
but..when in Indonesia, I can choose which provider for internet and to upload a 15 minute video need only few minutes...

The new terminal is open from 1 July 2015. The airport is the Air Koryo HUB, is equipped with 12 check-in counters and three jetways, there is a duty-free store, cosmetic, electronic and book shops, coffee bar, restaurant and a VIP Lounge.
The airport have 2 runway in concrete: 01/19 3,800m and 17/35 3,200m.

Since I came to Pyongyang in November 2012 until I left Pyongyang in March 2016 I got so many experiences.
I just wanna share a bit of my life experience in North Korea, mostly in Pyongyang. We are foreigners (Diplomats, Expatriates) who live in Pyongyang can roam freely around Pyongyang, and diplomats got more privileged than other expatriates.
There are also many Americans (USA), Canadians, Korean American who works as teachers and professors in Pyongyang.
Foreigners can travel to other cities outside Pyongyang, but we must request permission to Ministry of Foreign Affairs of North Korea.
Since I lived in North Korea, I already travel to other cities in Northern, Western, Southern and Eastern side. Sometimes I travel with a minder, sometimes I just drive my car by my own and with my family (without a minder),
#NOTE: I am not a diplomat and didn’t work for embassy.#
I bought a car in March 2016, I bought it second handed from a Russian woman whose an expatriate too.
I have North Korea driver licence.
In this video is a Petrol station that located near Foreigners compound, I always bought petrol in this petrol station, because the petrol quality in this station is better than the other stations in DPRK, but the price is sure more expensive.
Since I Iived there, the price of petrol (Benzene 95) is fluctuate in in range of 0.74 USD - 0.92 USD per litre. Yes the price in USD, but we can pay in Euro and Chinese Yuan.

On 2 november 2015, I did a little trip to the Pyongyang subway together with my colleagues Drewkelly and Scott (the person that weared Google Glass). They are citizens of the United States who worked in North korea as a lecturer at a university in Pyongyang. We knew each other via instagram account, while in north korea we often upload our daily lives via instagram, until finally we made an appointment to meet and travel together in pyongyang city. During our trip we were apart in vehicle, I use my own car and they use government car and driver and accompanied by a local guide. We visited all the metro stations in the Pyongyang city and paid 20 euro each person, we thought the fee was 'worth it' because this is a very rare experience, we visited all the metro stations which is usually shouldn't be visited by foreigners. Although there were some stations we were still forbid to visit but we could saw the stations from the train.
Sorry I recorded this video not good and irregular, because at that time I was focused to take photos instead of video. I recorded this video using GoPro hero4 session.

Pyongyang

Even today, the city has numerous willow trees, with many buildings and places having "Ryugyŏng" in their names. The most notable of these is the incomplete Ryugyong Hotel. The city's other historic names include Kisong, Hwangsong, Rakrang, Sŏgyong, Sodo, Hogyong, Changan, and Heijo (during Japanese rule in Korea). Negotiations on reunification failed, and in 1948 two separate governments were formed: the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in the north, and the Republic of Korea in the south. An invasion initiated by North Korea led to the Korean War (1950–53). Although the Korean Armistice Agreement brought about a ceasefire, no official peace treaty was ever signed. I have North Korea driver licence. In this video is a Petrol station that located near Foreigners compound, I always bought petrol in this petrol station, because the petrol quality in this station is better than the other stations in DPRK, but the price is sure more expensive. Since I Iived there, the price of petrol (Benzene 95) is fluctuate in in range of 0.74 USD - 0.92 USD per litre. Yes the price in USD, but we can pay in Euro and Chinese Yuan. On 2 november 2015, I did a little trip to the Pyongyang subway together with my colleagues Drewkelly and Scott (the person that weared Google Glass). They are citizens of the United States who worked in North korea as a lecturer at a university in Pyongyang. We knew each other via instagram account, while in north korea we often upload our daily lives via instagram, until finally we made an appointment to meet and travel together in pyongyang city. During our trip we were apart in vehicle, I use my own car and they use government car and driver and accompanied by a local guide. We visited all the metro stations in the Pyongyang city and paid 20 euro each person, we thought the fee was 'worth it' because this is a very rare experience, we visited all the metro stations which is usually shouldn't be visited by foreigners. Although there were some stations we were still forbid to visit but we could saw the stations from the train. Sorry I recorded this video not good and irregular, because at that time I was focused to take photos instead of video. Inside the new Pyongyang Sunan International Airport in North Korea
The new terminal is open from 1 July 2015. The airport is the Air Koryo HUB, is equipped with 12 check-in counters and three jetways, there is a duty-free store, cosmetic, electronic and book shops, coffee bar, restaurant and a VIP Lounge. "How could you upload youtube video in NK?".
"He uploads the video after he back to Indonesia, because he didn't dare if he upload directly from NK".
Nope..that is not entirely True..
The answer is..
I already back to Indonesia, and currently I live in Indonesia..
My first 23 videos was uploaded when I was in North Korea.
The most different thing that when I uploaded video in NK, for a 15 minute video needed two days to upload, because the internet there was unstable due to electricity on off several times in a day..I can’t subscribe for cellular internet mobile because its way too expensive and..not reliable too...
but..when in Indonesia, I can choose which provider for internet and to upload a 15 minute video need only few minutes...

Since I came to Pyongyang in November 2012 until I left Pyongyang in March 2016 I got so many experiences.
I just wanna share a bit of my life experience in North Korea, mostly in Pyongyang. We are foreigners (Diplomats, Expatriates) who live in Pyongyang can roam freely around Pyongyang, and diplomats got more privileged than other expatriates.
There are also many Americans (USA), Canadians, Korean American who works as teachers and professors in Pyongyang.
Foreigners can travel to other cities outside Pyongyang, but we must request permission to Ministry of Foreign Affairs of North Korea.
Since I lived in North Korea, I already travel to other cities in Northern, Western, Southern and Eastern side. Sometimes I travel with a minder, sometimes I just drive my car by my own and with my family (without a minder),
#NOTE: I am not a diplomat and didn’t work for embassy.#
I bought a car in March 2016, I bought it second handed from a Russian woman whose an expatriate too.
I have North Korea driver licence.
In this video is a Petrol station that located near Foreigners compound, I always bought petrol in this petrol station, because the petrol quality in this station is better than the other stations in DPRK, but the price is sure more expensive.
Since I Iived there, the price of petrol (Benzene 95) is fluctuate in in range of 0.74 USD - 0.92 USD per litre. Yes the price in USD, but we can pay in Euro and Chinese Yuan.

On 2 november 2015, I did a little trip to the Pyongyang subway together with my colleagues Drewkelly and Scott (the person that weared Google Glass). They are citizens of the United States who worked in North korea as a lecturer at a university in Pyongyang. We knew each other via instagram account, while in north korea we often upload our daily lives via instagram, until finally we made an appointment to meet and travel together in pyongyang city. During our trip we were apart in vehicle, I use my own car and they use government car and driver and accompanied by a local guide. We visited all the metro stations in the Pyongyang city and paid 20 euro each person, we thought the fee was 'worth it' because this is a very rare experience, we visited all the metro stations which is usually shouldn't be visited by foreigners. Although there were some stations we were still forbid to visit but we could saw the stations from the train.
Sorry I recorded this video not good and irregular, because at that time I was focused to take photos instead of video. I recorded this video using GoPro hero4 session.

North Korea lies somewhere between a 1930′s Soviet Union frozen in time and a dark, futuristic vision of society... as imagined back in the 70′s.
"Land of Whispers" invites you to visit arguably the most unique and isolated travel destination in the world - not to criticize, but to observe and listen. Aside from usual highlights such as Pyongyang or Arirang, this unique one-man documentary brings you to areas such as Chongjin or Wonson, still virtually unknown to even google or wikipedia. There, I attempt to pierce through the ever-present 'national mythology' and as much as possible, I try to connect with people - such as the waitress mesmerized by tablet computers, or a tour guide cautiously fascinated by modern pop culture.

"The Flying girls" -Cirque national de Pyongyang - FICM 2016
Je me rappelle de ce soir de répétition au Festival International du Cirque de Massy au mois de janvier 2016. Dans le grand chapiteau maintenant presque vide, la lumière restait centrée sur les immenses filets. Au dessus, il y avait ces hommes et femmes s'entraînant encore malgré la fatigue et la douleur pour que le quadruple salto soit réussi. Je vous invite en haut du chapiteau à voltiger avec ces artistes du Cirque National de Pyongyang en Corée du Nord. Balancer, voler, accrocher le regard, se rapprocher pour enfin attraper les mains de son partenaire, rester en rythme, être à temps pour ne pas plonger dans l'abîme... Et recommencer, recommencer encore, pour tutoyer les anges... Pour illustrer les images, il me fallait trouver une musique aérienne, un rythme lancinant et répétitif.....

Je me rappelle de ce soir de répétition au Festival International du Cirque de Massy au mois de janvier 2016. Dans le grand chapiteau maintenant presque vide, la lumière restait centrée sur les immenses filets. Au dessus, il y avait ces hommes et femmes s'entraînant encore malgré la fatigue et la douleur pour que le quadruple salto soit réussi.
Je vous invite en haut du chapiteau à voltiger avec ces artistes du Cirque National de Pyongyang en Corée du Nord. Balancer, voler, accrocher le regard, se rapprocher pour enfin attraper les mains de son partenaire, rester en rythme, être à temps pour ne pas plonger dans l'abîme...
Et recommencer, recommencer encore, pour tutoyer les anges...
Pour illustrer les images, il me fallait trouver une musique aérienne, un rythme lancinant et répétitif... Je crois que ce morceau du génial groupe anglais The Cinematic Orchestra porte parfaitement mes images.
