Lucknow: Revered Shia cleric Maulana Kalbe Sadiq condemned the terror attack in France and warned the community to stay away from anything that is against humanity. Speaking at the closing ceremony of the conference organised by Era Medical College and Hospital here on Saturday, Maulana Sadiq referred to the attacker in France as a mad dog who killed innocents. Citing the old proverb `as you sow, so you reap', the maulana said, "If you resort to violence, you will be eliminated too." Maulana Sadiq said, "Education alone can change fate of Muslims across the world." He added, "Those hesitating to say Bharat Mata Ki Jai, may chant Bharat Ammi Ki Jai".
Chief guest Governor Ram Naik advised medical students against strikes and said they should not forget their commitment to humanity. "Service is the first duty of a doctor and it is above everything else," he said.
