Lee Allen Tergesen (born July 8, 1965) is an American actor. He is best known for his roles as Tobias Beecher in HBO's prison drama Oz and as Evan Wright in Generation Kill.
Tergesen was born in Ivoryton, Connecticut and graduated from Valley Regional High School in nearby Deep River.
He moved to New York at the age of 18 to try to become an actor. He graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy's two year program in Manhattan, where, from 1986 to 1989, he worked at the Empire Diner. "I wasn't a great waiter. I was funny, but I gave a lot of attitude", he told Rosie Magazine in March 2002. He added: "The place is like a vortex for me". In 1989, the diner was where he met Tom Fontana, the future creator of Oz, who lived around the corner from the diner.
He did some stage work during this time. "I was doing plays all the time, but there's no money in it", Tergesen said in a 1995 Los Angeles Times article. "After graduation, I thought I'd be making a living at it." He went to Los Angeles to help Tom Fontana move house. While dining at a restaurant on the day after arriving in Los Angeles, California, a casting director and friend of Fontana's asked Lee if he was an actor. "He told me there was a part in this movie and at that time, I couldn't imagine what it could be," Tergesen told the L.A. Times. The movie ended up being Point Break, starring Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze. "It was the beginning of me never having to do anything else but act", he told LT.com in 1990.
Christopher Peter Meloni (born April 2, 1961) is an American actor. He is known for his television roles as NYPD Detective Elliot Stabler on the NBC police drama Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and as inmate Chris Keller on the HBO prison drama Oz. In June 2012, he returned to HBO, as the vampire Roman on the main cast of True Blood for the series' fifth season.
His well known films are Man of Steel, Wet Hot American Summer, 12 Monkeys, Runaway Bride, 42, and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
Meloni was born in Washington, D.C., the youngest of three children (he has a brother and sister) of Cecile (née Chagnon), a homemaker, and Dr. Charles Robert Meloni, an endocrinologist. His maternal ancestry is French Canadian and his paternal ancestry is Sardinian (Italy). Meloni attended St. Stephen's School (now St. Stephen's & St. Agnes School) in Alexandria, Virginia, and played quarterback on the football team. He studied acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder and graduated with a degree in history in 1983. After graduation, Meloni went to New York where he continued his studies with Sanford Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse, as well as the Center for the Media Arts.
No Filter is the sixth studio album by American rapper Lil Wyte, and the first collaboration album with rapper JellyRoll. It was released on July 16, 2013. The album was announced by Lil Wyte and JellyRoll on Twitter. The album was recorded in one week according to both rappers. DJ Paul is confirmed to be a producer on the album. The album cover was revealed on May 18, 2013. The first single is "Break The Knob Off" produced by The Colleagues, for which they are doing a music video. It was released on May 28. The second song from the album was released on June 3, titled "Back To The Start". Rap duo Twiztid was confirmed to appear on the album. JellyRoll and Lil Wyte confirmed a third song called We're Back for which they are shooting a video. Lil Wyte confirmed a mixtape called "July 16th" to be released on June 25. The mixtape is related to the album and the title is the album's release date.
On June 25 the complete tracklist was revealed. Producers on the album include DJ Paul, The Colleagues, Greenway, DJ Moneygreen, The Avengerz, Sonny Bama, Shapeshifta and Ed Pryor. Guests on the album include The Diplomats member Hell Rell, V.V.S., Jesse Whitley, rap duo Twiztid, Robin Raynelle, Sonny Bama, J Ceaz and Cash Money Records artist Caskey. Song "Back To The Start" isn't appearing on the album due to sampling clearance. The song sampled the hook of The Scientist by Willie Nelson. An earlier version of "This Down Here" featuring Big SMO appeared on the "July 16th" mixtape. Lil Wyte also confirmed country rapper Colt Ford appearing on the remix of "This Down Here".
Generation Kill is a 2004 book written by Rolling Stone journalist Evan Wright chronicling his experience as an embedded reporter with the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion of the United States Marine Corps during the 2003 invasion of Iraq. His account of life with the Marines was originally published as a three-part series in Rolling Stone in the fall of 2003. "The Killer Elite", the first of these articles, went on to win a National Magazine Award for Excellence in Reporting in 2004.
Wright spent two months with the battalion, having persuaded a commander that he could cope with such an assignment. The Marines of 1st Reconnaissance Battalion were initially hostile and suspicious but soon warmed to him and treated him as one of their own. He gained their respect through his refusal to quit in the face of combat. Often riding in the lead vehicle, a lightly armored Humvee, Wright was in real danger for much of the time, and at one point carried a weapon, though he did so reluctantly.
Roy "Reno" Wilson (born January 20, 1969) is an American actor, comedian and voice artist. He is best known for his role as Howard in the sitcom The Cosby Show and Officer Carl MacMillan in Mike & Molly. He is also known for providing character voices in the Transformers film series.
Wilson has appeared in a number of television programs and films. His first television role was on the NBC's The Cosby Show, where (on a recurring basis) he portrayed Theo Huxtable's college friend Howard during Seasons 5 and 6 of the series. His most recent film roles were that of Orlando in Crank and Crank: High Voltage. He is currently a main cast member on the CBS sitcom Mike & Molly, and has also acted in Prison Break.
In his voice over work Wilson is probably best known as the voices of Frenzy, Mudflap and Brains in the Transformers film series. He is also the voice of Sazh Katzroy in Final Fantasy XIII and its sequels and is the current voice of the character Killer Bee in the anime Naruto Shippuden.
