Priyanka Chopra has turned film producer and has been venturing into regional films. First, she produced Bhojpuri film Bam Bam Bol Raha Hai Kashi and then Punjabi drama titled Ek Onkar. Now, the pretty actress has wrapped a three-day schedule for her Marathi production titled Ventilator directed by Rajesh Mapuskar. After that, she flew to New York on July 4, to commence the shoot of her American TV show Quantico Season two.
She will have to go through a 14-hour shift till March 2017, but will get two-three trips in between. Talking about her Marathi film to a popular daily, she said, "Ventilator directed by Rajesh Mapuskar has my name attached to it so I have to be comfortable with everything that's happening. The crew back home teases me saying that US main baithe baithe I know everything that's happening in Mumbai." PeeCee has even filmed a special Marathi song, "Life is transient and I am a creative person who constantly looks for new outlets. I have been writing a lot and I am producing films, I like to evolve in different directions," she added.
She further talked about producing regional films stating, "Soon, I am going to do another three films in different languages. My focus is on small-budget movies. It's a great time for filmmaking and there's interesting stuff coming my way." Her American crew calls the global star a "multihyphenated Priyanka Chopra".

She takes this as a compliment by saying, "If I wasn't producing films or doing different things like my web-series, I would still have been successful because I am a winner by nature and a survivor. People pursue happiness, success, money or fame, for me, it's the pursuit of excellence. I want to be excellent at my role in my Marathi film too, even if it is a guest appearance. If you're consistent, you will never be denied success, no matter the age or stage."

Her Punjabi production with Arminder Gill isn't called Ek Onkar. it will be called something else but they haven't announced it yet. announcement will happen soon. I'm a big Arminder Gill fan. NIce to see Priyanka venturing into regional cinema.

Yup, her fans are very excited that Priyanka's producing regional movies. Priyanka doesn't have time to do a full fledged Bollywood movie until Quantico season 2 is complete... you'll have to wait until March 2017.

Priyanka never said anything about big announcements. When she came to India she just read a bunch of scripts! Since she can't shoot a bollywood film until March 2017 anyways she has lots of time to decide.
