Bokaro: The nine-day Rath Yatra came to an end with Lord Jagannath, his elder brother Balabhadra and sister Subhadra returning to their original adobe at Jagannath Temple from their aunt's house at Ram Mandir Temple here on Thursday.

Sushanata, a priest, said: "Prayers were offered to the deities on their journey back home. " The chariot stopped at various points on its way allowing devotees a glimpse of the divine triumvirate. The devotees pulled the chariot through a 4km stretch. "The return journey is believed to be auspicious," said Suresh Singh, president of City Centre Puja Samiti.
