Alabama (i/ˌæləˈbæmə/) is a state located in the southeastern region of the United States. It is bordered by Tennessee to the north, Georgia to the east, Florida and the Gulf of Mexico to the south, and Mississippi to the west. Alabama is the 30th-most extensive and the 24th-most populous of the 50 United States. At 1,300 miles (2,100 km), Alabama has one of the longest navigable inland waterways in the nation.
From the American Civil War until World War II, Alabama, like many states in the South, suffered economic hardship, in part because of continued dependence on agriculture. Despite the growth of major industries and urban centers, White rural interests dominated the state legislature from 1901 to the 1960s, as it did not regularly reapportion the legislature from 1901 to 1961; urban interests and African Americans were markedly under-represented. African Americans and poor whites were essentially disenfranchised altogether by the state constitution of 1901, a status that continued into the mid-1960s before being alleviated by federal legislation. Exclusion of minorities continued under at-large voting systems in most counties; some changes were made through a series of omnibus court cases in the late 1980s to establish different electoral systems.
My Channel is a British television channel which launched on 28 February 2006 as Eat Cinema, originally targeted at mainstream cinema audiences. As of 2011 it broadcasts entertainment, documentaries, fashion programmes, featured film news, listings, and sneak previews seven days a week.
The channel was originally a joint venture between multi-platform digital television company Enteraction TV (ETV) and trade body All Industry Marketing for fashion, cinema and publicity. On 3 January 2007, the channel changed its name from Eat Cinema to My Channel. During the months prior to this date, the channel had reduced its cinema related content. Until 27 November 2007, the schedule consisted of three old L!VE TV programmes, Lie Detector, The Why Files and Indecent Proposals. These programmes were repeated daily, with no advertisement breaks and no on-screen channel logo.
On 27 November 2007, the channel was acquired by Record Media Group, all content was changed, and an on-screen channel logo added; as of 2011 the channel is controlled by Record TV Network, a UK-based operator and licensee of over 150 channels worldwide.
Derrick Henry (born July 17, 1994) is an American football running back for the Alabama Crimson Tide. He holds the national high school football record for career rushing yards. On December 5, 2015 he broke Herschel Walker's single season college rushing yards record in the SEC in two more games but about 40 fewer carries than Walker. He won the 2015 Heisman Trophy, as well as the Doak Walker Award, the Maxwell Award, and the Walter Camp Award.
Henry attended Yulee High School in Yulee, Florida, where he was a three-sport star in football, basketball and track. He played as a running back for the Yulee Hornets football team. He ran for 2,465 yards and 26 scores as a freshman in 2009. He was named a first-team All-Coast at running back in 2010 after rushing for 2,788 yards and 38 touchdowns while averaging 8.9 yards per attempt. He rushed for 2,610 yards and 34 scores as a junior in 2011 to earn first-team All-Coast honors from the Florida Times-Union. He was named the 2012 Columbus (Ohio) Touchdown Club National High School Player of the Year. He set the Florida high school record with a 510-yard performance against Jacksonville Jackson and averaged 9.2 yards per carry and 327.8 yards per game as a senior, finishing the season with a state-record 4,261 yards and 55 touchdowns. He finished his high school football career with 12,124 career rushing yards, which broke Ken Hall's career record. He also rushed for 153 career touchdowns. He played for the East squad in the 2013 U.S. Army All-American Bowl, where he rushed for 53 yards with a touchdown and a two-point conversion.
Sport (UK) or sports (US) are all forms of usually competitive physical activity or games which, through casual or organised participation, aim to use, maintain or improve physical ability and skills while providing entertainment to participants, and in some cases, spectators. Usually the contest or game is between two sides, each attempting to exceed the other. Some sports allow a tie game; others provide tie-breaking methods, to ensure one winner and one loser. A number of such two-sided contests may be arranged in a tournament producing a champion. Many sports leagues make an annual champion by arranging games in a regular sports season, followed in some cases by playoffs. Hundreds of sports exist, from those between single contestants, through to those with hundreds of simultaneous participants, either in teams or competing as individuals. In certain sports such as racing, many contestants may compete, each against all with one winner.
Sport is generally recognised as activities which are based in physical athleticism or physical dexterity, with the largest major competitions such as the Olympic Games admitting only sports meeting this definition, and other organisations such as the Council of Europe using definitions precluding activities without a physical element from classification as sports. However, a number of competitive, but non-physical, activities claim recognition as mind sports. The International Olympic Committee (through ARISF) recognises both chess and bridge as bona fide sports, and SportAccord, the international sports federation association, recognises five non-physical sports, although limits the number of mind games which can be admitted as sports.

Both teams started out cold, in the first quarter, however in the second quarter the Tide lit up, and the Bulldogs, not so much. Alabama thumped the Bulldogs for the rest of the game beating them 31-6 and moving to 9-1 on the season, with remaining games against Charleston Southern, and Auburn. Mississippi State has two tough SEC games remaining on the schedule, in Arkansas and Ole Miss. Derrick Henry made his case for the heisman even better, with 204 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns. Sorry for not being 720p. HD could be coming. The 80th edition of the Iron Bowl was not one of the evenly matched games in the long history, however none of that showed on the field. The two teams exchanged field goals in the first quarter. However, with one missed Auburn field goal and two made field goals for the Tide, Alabama went up 12-6 at the half. Alabama went up 19-6 in the third quarter, with it only to be answered by a 74 yard tipped pass touchdown reception to cut Alabama's lead to 19-13. Adam Griffith tacked on another field goal to put the Tide up 22-13, going 5/5 on field goals on the day. It was closed out by Derrick Henry's touchdown with less than 30 seconds to go giving Alabama a 29-13 victory. Henry had 271 yards, 46 carries, and 1 touchdown, in a Heisman worthy moment....
