Joe or Joseph McBride may refer to:
The Rhythm Club fire (or The Natchez Dance Hall Holocaust) was a fire in Natchez, Mississippi, United States on the night of April 23, 1940 that killed 209 people and severely injured many others. Hundreds of people became trapped inside the one-story steel-clad wooden building. The victims were mostly African Americans.
The dance hall, which was a converted blacksmith shop once used as a church, was located in a one-story frame building at 1 St. Catherine Street, blocks from the city's business district. At the time, this was the second most deadly building fire in the history of the nation. It is now ranked as the fourth deadliest assembly and club fire in U.S. history.
The fire began as members of the local Moneywasters Social Club were enjoying the song "Clarinet Lullaby", performed by Walter Barnes and His Royal Creolians orchestra from Chicago. Starting near the main entrance door at 11:30 pm, the fire quickly engulfed the structure, due to Spanish moss that had been draped over interior's rafters as a decoration. In order to ensure there were no bugs in the decorative moss, it had been sprayed with petroleum-based Flit insecticide. Due to the dry conditions, flammable methane gas was generated from the moss and resulted in the destruction of the building within an hour.
Heads up may refer to:
Déjà vu, (i/ˌdeɪʒɑː ˈvuː/; French pronunciation: [de.ʒa.vy]) from French, literally "already seen", is the phenomenon of having the strong sensation that an event or experience currently being experienced has already been experienced in the past.
Déjà vu is a feeling of familiarity, and déjà vécu (the feeling of having "already lived through" something) is a feeling of recollection.
Scientific approaches reject the explanation of déjà vu as "precognition" or "prophecy", but rather explain it as an anomaly of memory, which creates a distinct impression that an experience is "being recalled". This explanation is supported by the fact that the sense of "recollection" at the time is strong in most cases, but that the circumstances of the "previous" experience (when, where, and how the earlier experience occurred) are uncertain or believed to be impossible. Two types of déjà vu are suggested to exist: the pathological type of déjà vu usually associated with epilepsy and the non-pathological which is a characteristic of healthy people and psychological phenomenon.

Excellent upbeat remake of the old Blackbyrds tune...HAPPY LISTENING!!
beautiful groove, very relaxing
From the CD "Grace," 1992. This is a very nice redition of the song originally done by Bobby Hebb. Joe does the vocals and piano work here and is accompanied by some heavy hitters: Stanley Turrentine, tennor sax; Henry Johnson, guitar; Gerald Veasley, bass; Dennis Durick, bass; and Rafeal Cabranes, congas. This was one of my favorite songs even as a little kid, and is still today. Enjoy!

Joe McBride - It's You - From The Album: Texas Rhythm Club. Texas Rhythm Club is the latest offering from vocalist and pianist Joe McBride and it should help erase some of the anonymity surrounding the talent on the jazz scene in the Lone Star State. The CD includes a wide variety of musical styles ranging from the groove and spice on "Hot Chili Pepper" to smooth jazz on "White Rock." The Texas Rhythm Club, which is also the name of McBride's band, consists of Martin Walters on bass; Wayne DeLano on soprano, alto, and tenor saxophones; Sean McCurley on drums; Carl Hillman on acoustic bass; Rodney Booth on trumpet; Greg Waits on trombone; Bryan Brock on percussion; and Todd Parsnow on guitar. Together this aggregation gives the listener some great melodies, riffs, rhythms, and vocal maturit...

This is Joe's smooth jazz cover of PLAYER'S hit from the 70's. Artist Biography by Ed Hogan: Born and raised in Fulton, MO, keyboardist/singer Joe McBride began playing the piano at age four. His uncle Bake McBride was an outfielder for the St. Louis Cardinals and the Cleveland Indians. His earliest influences were gospel music, bebop, straight-ahead jazz, Motown, and '70s R&B; and funk. As a teenager, he began singing and playing at jazz clubs. Around this time, McBride was stricken with a degenerative eye disease that eventually claimed his sight, but his passion for music didn't diminish. He continued his musical studies at the Missouri School for the Blind and Webster University in suburban St. Louis, where he majored in jazz performance. He also attended the University of North Texas....

Spending all my nights, all my money, goin' out on the
town
Doin' anything just to get you off of my mind
But when the morning comes
I'm right back where I started again
And tryin' to forget you is just a waste of time
Baby come back; any kind of fool could see
There was something in everything about you
Baby come back; you can blame it all on me
I was wrong, and I just can't live without you
All day long, wearing a mask of false bravado
Tryin' to keep up a smile that hides the tears
But as the sun goes down, I get that empty feeling
again
How I wish to God that you were here
Baby come back; any kind of fool could see
There was something in everything about you
Baby come back; you can blame it all on me
I was wrong, and I just can't live without you
Now that I put it all together
Give me the chance to make you see
Have you used up all the love in your heart?
Nothing left for me? Is there nothing left for me?
Baby come back; any kind of fool could see
There was something in everything about you
Baby come back; (listen, baby) you can blame it all on
I was wrong, and I just can't live without you
I was wrong, and I just can't live...
Baby come back; any kind of fool could see
There was something in everything about you
Baby come back; you can blame it all on me
