'Leonard or Leo is a common English language masculine given name and a surname.
The given name and surname originate from the Old High German Leonhard containing the prefix levon ("lion") and the suffix hardu ("brave" or "hardy"). The name has come to mean "lion strength", "lion-strong", or "lion-hearted". It may also be from the Latin Leo ("lion"). Leonard was the name of a Saint in the Middle Ages period, known as the patron saint of prisoners.
Leonard is also an Irish origin surname, from the Gaelic O'Leannain, consisting of the prefix O ("descendant of") and the suffix Leannan ("lover"). The oldest public records of the surname appear in 1272 in Huntingdonshire, England, and in 1479 in Ulm, Germany.

Leonard Norman Cohen, CC GOQ (born 21 September 1934) is a Canadian singer, songwriter, musician, painter, poet, and novelist. His work has explored religion, politics, isolation, sexuality, and personal relationships. Cohen has been inducted into both the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame as well as the American Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He is also a Companion of the Order of Canada, the nation's highest civilian honor. In 2011, Cohen received a Princess of Asturias Awards for literature.
The critic Bruce Eder assessed Cohen's overall career in popular music by asserting that "[he is] one of the most fascinating and enigmatic … singer/songwriters of the late '60s … [and] has retained an audience across four decades of music-making.... Second only to Bob Dylan (and perhaps Paul Simon) [in terms of influence], he commands the attention of critics and younger musicians more firmly than any other musical figure from the 1960s who is still working at the outset of the 21st century."

So-was von verliebt
Ich bin so-was von verliebt
Es war ein Gefühl nur
doch ich spür es noch in mir
tausend Feuer brannten heiß
schon beim ersten Blick von dir.
Bis zum neuen Morgen
so gingen wir durch die nacht
dann war ich verloren
was hast du nur mit mir gemacht.
Ich bin so-was von verliebt
bin überrascht
das es sowas gibt.
Ich hab dich gesehn
und schon war's geschehn
ich find's unbeschreiblich schön.
Ich bin so-was von verliebt
total verrückt
was mit mir geschieht.
Es ist wie ein Traum
doch glaub ich es kaum
ich bin so-was von verliebt.
Heut seh ich die Sonne
wo ich früher Schatten sah.
Die ganze Welt dreht sich um mich
und mir ist auf einmal klar.
Wenn ich an dich denke
fühl ich es ganz tief in mir
ich will mich verschenken
in lauter Liebe zu dir.
Ich bin so-was von verliebt
bin überrascht
das es sowas gibt.
Ich hab dich gesehn

ich find's unbeschreiblich schön.
