See.me (originally founded as 'Artists Wanted' in 2007) is a web-based arts organization located in Long Island City, Queens, in New York City. The organization runs paid-entry photography competitions.
See.me specializes in providing online profiles that creatives can use to display, promote, and gain support for their work. The site caters to artists, photographers, musicians, designers and creative enthusiasts. Users are encouraged to share their work and show support for fellow creatives in order to gain traction for competition entries. See.me does not represent specified artists, and competition winners are shown in a digital slide show in Long Island City.
The organization runs a number of annual competitions offering cash prizes. These are typically gallery shows, magazine spreads, and grants. See.me’s business model is a mixture of free and paid services; paid services are accompanied by additional perks and benefits. Most competitions are presided over by a chosen panel of renowned judges, though select awards are given to artists whose work receives the most votes submitted online. See.me is considered a pioneer of arts-focused social media.
"See Me" is a single by Melanie Blatt written for the Robots movie. It peaked at #78 in the UK charts. The single was not released on the Robots soundtrack.
The video of the single includes footage from the movie and Melanie dressed in all white with the left side of her face, neck and left hand covered in diamonds.
"'See Me'" is the fourth and the last studio solo album by Ronnie Lane. The album was released 18 years before Lane's death. Lane had previously been a founding member of Small Faces and Faces.
During the recording of Rough Mix, Lane's multiple sclerosis was diagnosed. Nonetheless he toured, wrote and recorded (with Eric Clapton among others) and in 1979 released another album, See Me, which features several songs written by Lane and Clapton. Around this time, Lane travelled the highways and byways of England and lived a 'passing show' modern nomadic life in full Gypsy traveller costume and accommodation.
All tracks are noted by whom wrote them.
Dale or dales may refer to:
Dale is a given name. Notable people with the name include:
Dale is a small lunar crater located in the far eastern part of the Moon's near side, to the south of the Mare Smythii. It lies to the southeast of the larger crater Kastner and northeast of Ansgarius. The crater is located in a part of the lunar surface that is subject to libration, which can hide it from view for periods of time.
It is a relatively shallow and insignificant crater formation with a somewhat eroded outer rim. A smaller crater lies across the south-southwestern rim, creating a break into the interior. The rim is somewhat lower along the north edge than elsewhere, and the feature is marked only by a few tiny craterlets.
You Can See Me
Written by Supergrass Rob Coombes
If you like me, you can buy me, and take me home,
When you see me, on your TV, I'm alone,
You can call me, tell your story, on the phone,
You can hear me, over blue seas, I'm alone,
You can't see me, I'm not really there,
You can't see me,
You can't see me, I'm not really there,
You can't see me,
When you need me, come and see me, and take me out,
In the evening, when we're sleepy, lay me down,
All the crazies, try to space me, and I don't know,
I'm not easy, don't try to please me, xenophobe,
You can't see me, I'm not really there,
You can't see me,
You can't see me, I'm not really there,
You can't see me,
If you like me, you can buy me, and take me home,
When you see me, on your TV, I'm alone,
You can call me, tell your story, on the phone,
You can hear me, over blue seas, I'm alone,
You can't see me, I'm not really there,
You can't see me,
You can't see me, I'm not really there,
You can't see me,
You can't see me, I'm not really there,
You can't see me,
You can't see me, I'm not really there,
You can't see me.
