Going off to college as a junior is a whole different experience from starting at a university as a freshman – you’ve been in college for two years already, you’ve already done it all and know everything you need to know about being a college student. Or at least I thought I did.I learned so much more at Montclair State than I ever expected. My first year, I did the traditional set up – I lived on campus and did all my classes in person, rather than online, because I figured I was already paying to be there and might as well. My second year, I rented an apartment in town and commuted to school, which gave me a whole new perspective on life at Montclair State. That year, I did a combination of online, in-person, and off-campus classes. In spring 2012, I graduated with a Bachelors in English with a concentration in Creative Writing.

I moved onto campus a week early for training, and on my first day I got a little bit bored and decided to make a pretentious video featuring only me. I give you a tour of my room in Freeman Hall, and the mishaps that I had to deal with on my first day of living there. I know I bash my room hard, most of it is for comedic purposes, the rest is because It's kind of unacceptable... But I really do love the school. It's a great place. I'll probably make more videos about my experiences soon enough (depending on Demand).

Montclair State University
Montclair State University is a public research university located in the Upper Montclair section of Montclair, the Great Notch area of Little Falls, and the Montclair Heights section of Clifton, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of October 2014, there were 20,022 total enrolled students: 15,885 undergraduate students and 4,137 graduate students. Montclair State University, the second largest University in the State of New Jersey in terms of student population is approximately 500 acres (2.0 km2) in size, inclusive of the New Jersey School of Conservation. The University attracts students from within the state, from many other states in the Northeast and elsewhere, and many foreign countries. More than 250 majors, minors and concentrations are offered.
The university is a member of such professional organizations as the American Association of State Colleges and Universities, American Council on Education, Association of American Colleges and Universities and the Council of Graduate Schools.

State university system
A state university system in the United States is a group of public universities supported by an individual state, or a similar entity such as the District of Columbia. These systems constitute the majority of public-funded universities in the country. Each state supports at least one such system.
State university systems should not be confused with federally funded colleges and universities, at which attendance is limited to military personnel and government employees. Members of foreign militaries and governments also attend some schools. These schools include the United States military academies, Naval Postgraduate School, and military staff colleges.
A state university system normally means a single legal entity and administration, but may consist of several institutions, each with its own identity as a university. Some states—such as California and Texas—support more than one such system.
State universities get subsidies from their states. The amount of the subsidy varies from university to university and state to state, but the effect is to lower tuition costs below that of private universities for students from that state or district. As more and more Americans attend college, and private tuition rates increase well beyond the rate of inflation, admission to state universities is becoming more and more competitive.

Going off to college as a junior is a whole different experience from starting at a university as a freshman – you’ve been in college for two years already, you’ve already done it all and know everything you need to know about being a college student. Or at least I thought I did.I learned so much more at Montclair State than I ever expected. My first year, I did the traditional set up – I lived on campus and did all my classes in person, rather than online, because I figured I was already paying to be there and might as well. My second year, I rented an apartment in town and commuted to school, which gave me a whole new perspective on life at Montclair State. That year, I did a combination of online, in-person, and off-campus classes. In spring 2012, I graduated with a Bachelors in English with a concentration in Creative Writing.

I moved onto campus a week early for training, and on my first day I got a little bit bored and decided to make a pretentious video featuring only me. I give you a tour of my room in Freeman Hall, and the mishaps that I had to deal with on my first day of living there. I know I bash my room hard, most of it is for comedic purposes, the rest is because It's kind of unacceptable... But I really do love the school. It's a great place. Moving Into Montclair State University | Vlog
I moved onto campus a week early for training, and on my first day I got a little bit bored and decided to make a pretentious video featuring only me. I give you a tour of my room in Freeman Hall, and the mishaps that I had to deal with on my first day of living there. I know I bash my room hard, most of it is for comedic purposes, the rest is because It's kind of unacceptable... But I really do love the school. It's a great place.
