It was on the sets of Prakash Mehra’s Blockbuster SHARABI that we met with Amitabh Bachchan. Mumbai is always hot and humid and Amitabh was wearing a long sleeved fleece top. The scene that was being filmed is on the screen for only a minute, but it took the whole morning to film it.
We sat patiently to get to interview the Big B. Our crew had flown from Vancouver to Mumbai for this interview. Once he sat down, the interview was over in no time.
Amitabh had just been to Vancouver a year prior to our interview and he did not have a good experience during his show here. He was a little on the quieter side. He was sub-dude but not rude.

It’s been 8 years since John Biswas (Amitabh Bachchan) lost his granddaughter, Angela, in a tragic kidnapping incident that scarred him & his wife Nancy forever. But eight years later, while the world has moved, John hasn’t given up his relentless quest for justice.
He continues to visit the police station where he’s shunned & ignored every day. The only person whose help he seeks is Martin Das (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), an ex-cop turned priest who has one thing in common with John – the death of Angela had a life altering impact on both men.
But then, 1 day, 8 years after that tragic incident, there’s another kidnapping & everything about it echoes of similarity with the kidnapping of Angela. Father Martin is once again dragged into the investigation by cop Sarita Sarkar (Vidya Balan). While the priest & the cop tackle the new kidnapping, John doggedly pieces together the identity of Angela’s kidnapper from little bits of information that he collects through his own investigations.
TE3N is a gripping thriller that brings together these two parallel investigations into the 2 kidnappings – & builds up into an explosive, emotionally-charged film.

Amitabh Bachchan
Amitabh Harivansh Bachchan (IPA: [əmɪˈtaːbʱ ˈbəttʃən]; born 11 October 1942) is an Indian film actor. He first gained popularity in the early 1970s for movies like Zanjeer and Deewar, and was dubbed India's first "angry young man" for his on-screen roles in Bollywood. Often referred to in the media as the "Shahenshah of Bollywood", "Star of the Millennium" or "Big B", he has since appeared in over 180 Indian films in a career spanning more than four decades. Bachchan is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential actors in the history of Indian cinema. So total was his dominance of the movie scene in the 1970s and 1980s that the French director François Truffaut called him a "one-man industry."
Bachchan has won numerous accolades in his career, including three National Film Awards as Best Actor and many awards at international film festivals and award ceremonies. He has won 15 Filmfare Awards and is the most-nominated performer in any major acting category at Filmfare, with 40 nominations overall. In addition to acting, Bachchan has worked as a playback singer, film producer and television presenter. He also had a stint in politics in the 1980s.

It was on the sets of Prakash Mehra’s Blockbuster SHARABI that we met with Amitabh Bachchan. Mumbai is always hot and humid and Amitabh was wearing a long sleeved fleece top. The scene that was being filmed is on the screen for only a minute, but it took the whole morning to film it.
We sat patiently to get to interview the Big B. Our crew had flown from Vancouver to Mumbai for this interview. Once he sat down, the interview was over in no time.
Amitabh had just been to Vancouver a year prior to our interview and he did not have a good experience during his show here. He was a little on the quieter side. He was sub-dude but not rude.
