A home is a dwelling-place used as a permanent or semi-permanent residence for an individual, family, household or several families in a tribe. It is often a house, apartment, or other building, or alternatively a mobile home, houseboat, yurt or any other portable shelter. Homes typically provide areas and facilities for sleeping, preparing food, eating and hygiene. Larger groups may live in a nursing home, children's home, convent or any similar institution. A homestead also includes agricultural land and facilities for domesticated animals. Where more secure dwellings are not available, people may live in the informal and sometimes illegal shacks found in slums and shanty towns. More generally, "home" may be considered to be a geographic area, such as a town, village, suburb, city, or country.
Transitory accommodation in a treatment facility for a few weeks is not normally considered permanent enough to replace a more stable location as 'home'. In 2005, 100 million people worldwide were estimated to be homeless.
The straddle (as in video) is important in aerial hoop and aerial fabrics/silks. To pass Intermediate 1 aerial hoop, we have to do the a single straddle mount, note how i cross my legs first. In Intermediate 2 we do 3in a row like I did here. Leaves me out of breath! Did 4sets of three to make this video!! I'll post up the fail video one day! Hahaha! Made the video in May! Happy I still have i could still do this in September! :)

I rarely watch Starly's gymnastic or acrobatics training so it's been a long time since I saw Starly doing straddle sit to press handstand. She put them into my mind earlier in the week when she was buzzing about learning to do them on the "chocks" (?? - the stilt things the acro tops use to practice doing presses). I did actually get to see it then, but the phone battery was dead so couldn't tape it to share. Maybe next week. Meantime, I got her to do these after training tonight (1 before we left gym then 1 when we got home) so she was still a little tired and form not greatest LOL. Poor bunny fell on her tail bone at skating yesterday so I asked her to "step down" instead of straddle down. I didn't think that was a hard instruction but she didn't seem to grasp at all what I was suggesti...
