India, officially the Republic of India (Bhārat Gaṇarājya), is a country in South Asia. It is the seventh-largest country by area, the second-most populous country with over 1.2 billion people, and the most populous democracy in the world. Bounded by the Indian Ocean on the south, the Arabian Sea on the south-west, and the Bay of Bengal on the south-east, it shares land borders with Pakistan to the west;China, Nepal, and Bhutan to the north-east; and Myanmar (Burma) and Bangladesh to the east. In the Indian Ocean, India is in the vicinity of Sri Lanka and the Maldives; in addition, India's Andaman and Nicobar Islands share a maritime border with Thailand and Indonesia.
Home to the ancient Indus Valley Civilisation and a region of historic trade routes and vast empires, the Indian subcontinent was identified with its commercial and cultural wealth for much of its long history. Four religions—Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Sikhism—originated here, whereas Zoroastrianism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam arrived in the 1st millennium CE and also shaped the region's diverse culture. Gradually annexed by and brought under the administration of the British East India Company from the early 18th century and administered directly by the United Kingdom after the Indian Rebellion of 1857, India became an independent nation in 1947 after a struggle for independence that was marked by non-violent resistance led by Mahatma Gandhi.

When you think India, if you think spicy food, snake charmers, dodging cows, the Taj Mahal, and total chaos- you’re thinking about Northern India. It's an adventure waiting to happen, and will leave you wondering why it only accounts for 1% of world tourism. Join Ricky Moreno as he explores Delhi, Rajasthan, Agra, Rishikesh, and Varanasi. Welcome to Delhi. Say goodbye to your personal space. It’s crowded, it’s overwhelming, and definitely exhausting. One day here can feel like an entire week. The only way you’ll have any fun is to just put down the Purell and join the party. Instead of going straight to Agra to see the Taj Mahal, first I head west to hang with some locals in Rajasthan. Here, the people are welcoming, the desert is sprawling, and the camels command the streets. And it...

In Part One of my India travel video guide, I begin my travels in India with Calcutta (Kolkata). India had long been on my bucket list of countries to travel to in the world, and in April, 2013, I finally made it there, starting with Calcutta, with no better reason than the fact was I knew so little about that part of the country. Calcutta was once the capital of the British Empire in India, and today it's home to over 14 million people, which means the city itself is a crowded, dense, loud, but endlessly fascinating place to explore. In this video I explore the alleyways and grand buildings that make up B.B.D. Bagh, the area where the city was founded. After checking out a parade (a very common occurrence I was to later learn) and grabbing a roadside cup of chai, I stop at the home of f...

Coming from Kolkata, it's hard to believe that Darjeeling is actually in the same state, it's such a vastly different place. In order to get to Darjeeling, India, it's easiest to take the train to the nearest station which is located at New Jalpaiguri (known just as NJP by the train code). There's little to do in NJP, but from right outside the train station you can then board to a shared jeep and for 200 Rupees, you can take the jeep straight to Darjeeling. The jeep normally takes about 4 hours to reach the town and they wil...
Vacation travel video about destination Sikkim in India. For centuries Sikkim has been a segregated and independent Buddhist kingdom on the edge of the Himalayas, a land-locked Indian state and India’s most northerly region. Historical, cultural and spiritual, Sikkim is strongly associated with Tibet and possesses more than two hundred monasteries. The most holy monastery of the Nyingmapa schools is in Tashiding and is located on a mountain in the east of the country, along the route from Darjeeling. It was built in 1717 following the sight of a rainbow that connected the site with the majestic Anchenjunga Mountain. The large complex consists of a modest main temple, several buildings, chapels and Chorten with relics of both Chogyals and Lamas. A romantic forest trail leads to the Dubdi M...

It's truly a gorgeous area of the country and there is some amazing scenery. Sikkim has a majority Nepali population, so when you're there you'll feel more like you are in Nepal than in India. The easiest way to get to Gangtok is by taking the Indian train to NJP (which stands for New Jalpaiguri) and then catching a jeep from NJP or Siliguri straight to Gangtok. The journey normally takes about 4 hours and you'll drive along a winding mountain road. The views are spectacular when you're on your way to Gangtok, rising into the Himalaya mountains. Varanasi, located in North India, is one of the most sacred religious cities in all of India. It's a holy place, located next to the Ganges River. Dying in Varanasi is considered sacred, yet at the same time it's a city where people come to celebrate life and to splash in the water of the Ganges. In the Varanasi travel guide I'll go over some of the top things to do in Varanasi. Unlike other huge cities like Delhi (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=huipm50W2bw), which boast an enormous amount of attractions to see and things to do, Varanasi is more about just being there. You don't have to rush from place to place seeing the sights, but it's all about hanging out either along the Ganges River or within the narrow Varanasi lanes and exploring, observing, and just watching. Spending the time j...
India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has accused Pakistan of trying to destabilize Asia by exporting terrorism. Modi made the remark in his first speech since 18 soldiers were killed in an attack on an Indian army base in Kashmir. He claims Indian security forces have killed 110 terrorists in Kashmir who crossed the cease-fire line from Pakistan over the past four months. Modi added that terrorist attacks in Bangladesh and Afghanistan are also being instigated from Pakistan. The Indian Premier vowed to work toward isolating Islamabad internationally. India blames Pakistan for a fatal attack on an army base in Indian-controlled Kashmir last Sunday. Pakistan has denied any involvement. Pakistan's Foreign Ministry says an official statement will be released later in reaction to Modi's commen...

Priyanka Chopra introduction to India and promo hype at Global Citizen Festival 2016.
The death of 18 soldiers in Uri attack this month, is perhaps the most belligerent attack staged by Pakistan-based terrorists during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's regime. PM Modi, who had caustically remarked on the soft posturing of the UPA government during terror attacks, now finds himself in a unenviable position where under immense pressure from public and political parties, he has to match up his rhetoric or come up with a solution that serves him to contain the surge of domestic anger against India's neighbour. Pathankot attack sounded the death knell of the peace process that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had begun early in his tenure. Now after the barbaric attack in Uri, is a military strike the only option? Or should India consider covert, targeted attacks in Pakistan? Does Ind...

Pak media is India preparing for war with Pakistan after URI attack or media hype discussion by Najam Sethi. Pakistani fools say that India not in a position to attack Pakistan but in reality they piss in their pants and do all these activities mentioned below. Military officials are calling it a routine exercise, but the thunderous spectacle of Pakistani fighter jets touching down on a major highway Wednesday and Thursday, with commercial flights suspended and traffic blocked for hours, has fueled public speculation that something much more ominous is afoot. The display of military readiness, which included a late-night jet flyover Thursday above this capital city, has come amid an unusually tense showdown with India, Pakistan’s nuclear-armed rival, following a militant attack Sunday...

Oh Oh Oh
Cuanto no supe esconder
Cuanto quisiste creer
Que solo seguia tus pasos
Y hoy te asuste el fracaso
No quiere decir
(Triste seria )
Triste
(Triste seria)
Seria Triste
( Triste seria)
Si mi mundo se apagara por ti
( Triste Seria)
Si yo no fuera nada sin ti
( Triste Seria)
Me quedara solo infeliz
