Audio, Video, Disco is the second studio album by French electronic music duo Justice.
According to Xavier de Rosnay of Justice, Audio, Video, Disco is lighter than their first album; this album is like "daytime music" and is not as aggressive as the first one. The album also features more collaborations than on †.
The album's track listing was revealed by Xavier de Rosnay in an interview with Tsugi magazine on 5 July 2011.
The album's first single, "Civilization", was released digitally on 28 March 2011. "Audio, Video, Disco" was confirmed as the second single and was originally intended to be released on 19 September 2011; the single was eventually expanded into an EP and was released on 26 September 2011. A preview of the single was released on 19 August 2011, via the BBC website. The official music video was released on 6 September 2011 via the band's Facebook page. On 21 August, producer Busy P released a one-minute-long sample of "Helix" in his 2011 Fall Delivery Mix, as well as a two-minute sample of the Para One remix of "Audio, Video, Disco". On 13 December 2011, it was announced on the band's Facebook page that "On'n'On" would be the next single, released in late January 2012. Along with the announcement, they also revealed the single artwork, created by Surface to Air and that the package would include remixes of "On'n'On" by Rick Rubin, Brodinski and Video Village and two remixes of "Canon"—another track from Audio, Video, Disco—by Erol Alkan and Tiga. In June 2012, they released the fourth single, "New Lands". It features remixes from A-Trak and Ed Banger labelmate SebastiAn. "Helix", the fifth single from the album, was released on January 7, 2013. The EP features remixes from Gesaffelstein and Domenico Torti. It also includes "Presence", a composition that was a hidden track at the end of "Audio, Video, Disco".
Justice, is a concept whose content several times has been subject to a philosophical as well as legal treatment. There is no universal definition of the term. In its most basic form, "justice" is the systematized administration of punishment and reward. Further to this, one can say that justice excludes randomness. The concept of justice is based on numerous fields, and many differing viewpoints and perspectives including the concepts of moral correctness based on law, equity, ethics, rationality, religion, and fairness. Often, the general discussion of justice is divided into the realm of societal justice as found in philosophy, theology and religion, and procedural justice as found in the study and application of the law.
Disco is a genre of dance music containing elements of funk, soul, pop, and salsa that was most popular in the mid to late 1970s, though it has had brief resurgences. Its initial audiences were club-goers from the gay, African American, Italian American,Latino, and psychedelic communities in Philadelphia and then later New York City during the late 1960s and early 1970s. Disco also was a reaction against both the domination of rock music and the stigmatization of dance music by the counterculture during this period. Women embraced disco as well, and the music eventually expanded to several other marginalized communities of the time.
The disco sound has soaring vocals over a steady "four-on-the-floor" beat, an eighth note (quaver) or 16th note (semi-quaver) hi-hat pattern with an open hi-hat on the off-beat, and a prominent, syncopated electric bass line. In most disco tracks, strings, horns, electric pianos, and electric guitars create a lush background sound. Orchestral instruments such as the flute are often used for solo melodies, and lead guitar is less frequently used in disco than in rock. Many disco songs use electronic synthesizers.
Video is an electronic medium for the recording, copying, playback, broadcasting, and display of moving visual media.
Video systems vary greatly in the resolution of the display, how they are refreshed, and the rate of refreshed, and 3D video systems exist. They can also be carried on a variety of media, including radio broadcast, tapes, DVDs, computer files etc.
Video technology was first developed for Mechanical television systems, which were quickly replaced by cathode ray tube (CRT) television systems, but several new technologies for video display devices have since been invented. Charles Ginsburg led an Ampex research team developing one of the first practical video tape recorder (VTR). In 1951 the first video tape recorder captured live images from television cameras by converting the camera's electrical impulses and saving the information onto magnetic video tape.
Video recorders were sold for $50,000 in 1956, and videotapes cost $300 per one-hour reel. However, prices gradually dropped over the years; in 1971, Sony began selling videocassette recorder (VCR) decks and tapes to the public.

Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/scattle Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/scattle I loved the track when I first heard it, so I decided to make a little chiptune cover of the song. I don't really have the original song, so I used the music video for reference. Enjoy!
