Sixty years ago about 20 thousand women form across the country to to the streets of Pretoria. The reason for their march was to rise against the legislation that required Black South Africans to carry " Pass" (an identification document which infringed on their freedom of movement during the Apartheid era). The macrh was led by Lillian Ngoyi, Helen Joseph, Albertina Sisulu and Sophia Williams-De Bruyn.
