A keyboard instrument is a musical instrument which is played using a musical keyboard. The most common of these is the piano. Other widely used keyboard instruments include organs of various types as well as other mechanical, electromechanical and electronic instruments. In common language, it is mostly used to refer to keyboard-style synthesizers.
Among the very earliest keyboard instruments are the pipe organ, hurdy gurdy, clavichord and harpsichord. The organ is without doubt the oldest of these, appearing in the 3rd century BC, though this early instrument—called hydraulis—did not use a keyboard in the modern sense. From its invention until the 14th century, the organ remained the only keyboard instrument. Often, the organ did not feature a keyboard at all, rather buttons or large levers which were operated by a whole hand. Almost every keyboard until the 15th century had naturals to each octave.
The clavichord and the harpsichord appeared during the 14th century, the clavichord probably being the earlier. The harpsichord and the clavichord were both very common until the widespread adoption of the piano in the 18th century, after which their popularity decreased. The piano was revolutionary because a pianist could vary the volume (or dynamics) of the sound by varying the vigor with which each key was struck. The piano's full name is "gravicèmbalo con piano e forte" meaning "harpsichord with soft and loud" but can be shortened to "piano-forte", which means "soft-loud" in Italian.

One HUGE problem with most keyboards is that they are designed for rectangular screens, and they run edge to edge to make the most use of the screen space. They simply won't work on a round screen. A) The K95 has dedicated macro keys and I'll review that when I get one, I don't like setting up macros bound to keys I use for other things.

A) Yes, I edited the entire video in Adobe Premiere using the K70 keyboard and it was a joy. I even used the RGB lighting profile I showed in the video and it is pretty helpful.

As with your phone, you can install 3rd party keyboards on your Android based No.1 D5 (or K8/K8 mini/K18) smartwatch. One HUGE problem with most keyboards is that they are designed for rectangular screens, and they run edge to edge to make the most use of the screen space. They simply won't work on a round screen.
There are a very few exceptions, however, and those keyboards that play well on a round watch are featured here. At the end of the video you will see the culmination of a work in progress by a Russian developer specifically targeted to this watch. Be sure to check out that keyboard. If you decide to install it, you'll need his custom files, and the link below will get you to the page with his XDA-Developers Forum post. Look for message #262:

In order to get his files to work, you will need the keyboard design program installed. You can download it from the Google Play Store here:

In the meantime, it doesn't work on the round watch as the corners are cut off.

I use the Apple Extended Keyboard II on my home computer as my main keyboard. I write quite a bit for my day job and for pleasure, and I feel much more productive typing on a keyboard like this ... But that's a small price to pay for the pleasure of a mechanical keyboard. Technological progress isn't always for the better, and our desire to have computers (and smartphones) as compact as possible has meant that keyboard design has suffered....

From keyboard deck to the palm rests, the entire interior of this laptop is one flat surface of metal, save for the large space reserved for the glass touchpad ... On top of simply gluing the screen and keyboard base together, it's this key piece that makes the whole device work. Rather than folding flatly, the hinge basically coils into itself, leaving a noticeable gap between the screen and keyboard when the unit is closed....
