Watts may refer to:
Austin Garrick, better known as Watts, is a Canadian record producer from Toronto, Ontario. He has produced for artists such as Ghostface Killah, Redman, Method Man, and Joe Budden.
Watts grew up in the Oakwood-Vaughan neighbourhood of Toronto. He was born to a Vincentian, musician father and a Polish-born mother (of Greek and Russian descent) who is a doctor. His father, who was a drummer in the reggae band Messenjah, taught him how to play drums when he was two years old, and professionally by the age of five. Nicknamed "Stixs", he opened for the reggae band Third World at a concert when he was seven years old. He also performed in front of a crowd of over 50,000 at the Rogers Centre alongside Nelson Mandela, at the age of 12. After his parents got divorced, he decided to become a producer, and he started making beats.
When Watts became serious about a career as a record producer, he made several trips to New York City. He dropped out of high school in Grade 11 after a meeting with producer/DJ Kevin "K-Cut" McKenzie (of the legendary group Main Source). In New York, K-Cut took Watts under his wing and taught him about making great records, and the music business in the U.S. He currently works with Rashad "Ringo" Smith under the Tumblin' Dice Productions label.
Audio power is the electrical power transferred from an audio amplifier to a loudspeaker, measured in watts. The electrical power delivered to the loudspeaker, together with its sensitivity, determines the sound power level generated (with the rest being converted to heat).
Amplifiers are limited in the electrical energy they can amplify, while loudspeakers are limited in the electrical energy they can convert to sound energy without distorting the audio signal or being damaged. These power ratings are important to consumers finding compatible products and comparing competitors.
In audio electronics, there are several methods of measuring power output (for such things as amplifiers) and power handling capacity (for such things as loudspeakers). The question has engineering, regulatory (consumer protection and advertising), and psychoacoustical aspects and is, in a serious sense, much more complex than may be imagined.
Amplifiers are valued in part by their power output capacity. And in the interest of being able to advertise a higher power output number, manufacturers in the US (and elsewhere) began to take advantage of the highly variable nature of most audio signals (especially musical sources) and to cite the peak output (quite brief and rarely sustainable for long) as the amplifier power. There being no standards, imaginative approaches came to be so common that the US Federal Trade Commission intervened in the market and required all amplifier manufacturers to use an engineering based measure (root-mean square) in addition to any other value they might cite.
Suck may refer to:
In media:
Suck were a rock band who were part of South Africa's first wave of hard rock titled, the "Big Heavies." The group lasted eight months between 1970 to 1971 in which they recorded their lone LP, Time to Suck. It was later released in America in 2009. They were also one of the earliest groups to cover Black Sabbath. In March 2007 they were featured in an article in Classic Rock magazine titled, "The Lost Pioneers of Heavy Metal" where they were referred to as "acidpunk metal".
Spit may refer to:
VoIP spam or SPIT (Spam over Internet Telephony) are bulk unsolicited, automatically dialled, pre-recorded phone calls using the Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP). Telephone spam is comparable to E-mail spam, but due to its synchronous character, different mitigation methods are needed.
Voice over IP systems, like e-mail and other Internet applications, are susceptible to abuse by malicious parties who initiate unsolicited and unwanted communications. Telemarketers, prank callers, and other telephone system abusers are likely to target VoIP systems increasingly, particularly if VoIP supplants conventional telephony. The VoIP technology provides convenient tools (e.g. Asterisk and SIPp) and low-priced possibilities to place a large number of Spam calls.
The underlying technology driving this threat is Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). This technology has received significant support from most major telecommunication vendors, and is showing signs of becoming the industry standard for voice, video and other interactive forms of communication such as instant messaging and gaming.

An inspirational and profound speech on identity and what you think you are from the late philosopher Alan Watts. Original Audio sourced from: “Alan Watts - 'Myth of Myself'" and “Alan Watts - 'Not What Should Be' from Tao of Philosophy” "When a man no longer confuses himself with the definition of himself that others have given him, he is at once universal and unique. He is universal by virtue of the inseparability of his organism from the cosmos. He is unique in that he is just this organism and not any stereotype of role, class, or identity assumed for the convenience of social communication." – Alan Watts. I discuss the latest Arsenal news, including the latest on Thomas Partey's injury. I also look at Granit Xhaka's potential new contract, who could partner Xhaka against Brentford and Joe Willock's future.
What's the difference between a volt, amp, and watt? Why is your power bill in kilowatt-hours and your battery bank in milliamp-hours? Why are there so many units?!
