24 Shots is a compilation album by artist 50 Cent, following his professional debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin'.
24 Shots features tracks recorded before his professional debut with Shady Records & Aftermath Entertainment, and during his venture there. It has tracks from various other albums and mixtapes, including the unreleased Power of the Dollar and various G-Unit mixtapes. It also features unused tracks for "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" and mixtape tracks. Some songs have later surfaced on other albums, such as "Ecstasy", which was re-released on G-Unit's Beg for Mercy with no alterations as "I Smell Pussy". "In Da Club" was also on this album, simultaneously with "Get Rich or Die Tryin'". Most songs have been re-mastered from their original vinyl records, notably singles from Power of the Dollar, such as "How to Rob". "Follow Me Gangster" also appeared on the Cradle 2 the Grave soundtrack in 2003.
Most songs have been remastered from their vinyl masters, with some having additional instruments and sounds added in the background, notably "How to Rob" compared to the 1999 original. Nearly every song in the album starts with a sound clip, which features a static noise. Alongside that noise, 50 Cent is heard saying, "This is 50 Cent", "You are now rapping with 50 Cent" and "New York City.“
Curtis James Jackson III (born July 6, 1975), better known by his stage name 50 Cent, is an American rapper, actor, entrepreneur, investor, record, film, and television producer. Born in the South Jamaica neighborhood of the borough of Queens, Jackson began selling drugs at age twelve during the 1980s crack epidemic. Although he left drug-dealing to pursue a musical career, he was struck by nine bullets in a 2000 shooting. After Jackson released the compilation album Guess Who's Back? in 2002, he was discovered by Eminem and signed by Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records.
With the aid of Eminem and Dr. Dre (who produced his first major-label album, Get Rich or Die Tryin'), Jackson became one of the world's best selling rappers and rose to prominence with East Coast hip hop group G-Unit (which he leads de facto). In 2003 he founded G-Unit Records, signing his G-Unit associates Young Buck, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo. Jackson had similar commercial and critical success with his second album, The Massacre, which was released in 2005. He released his fifth studio album, Animal Ambition, in 2014 and is working on his sixth studio album: Street King Immortal, scheduled for release in 2016.

After graduating, he was selected with the first overall pick in the 2003 NBA draft by the Cavaliers. James led Cleveland to the franchise's first Finals appearance in 2007, losing to the San Antonio Spurs. In 2010, he left the Cavaliers for the Miami Heat in a highly publicized ESPN special titled The Decision. James played four seasons for the Heat, reaching the Finals all four years and winning back-to-back championships in 2012 and 2013. In 2013, he led Miami on a 27-game winning streak, the third longest in league history. Following his final season with the Heat, James opted out of his contract and re-joined the Cavaliers. Behind his leadership, Cleveland advanced to the Finals before losing to the Golden State Warriors.

News Report about the Brooklyn Bridge Shooting. Part 1. Korfito
New York Yankees 3 at Brooklyn Dodgers 2, F -- A classic "Subway Series," old-school style. Leading the Series 3-2, Brooklyn rookie Billy Loes battled Yankee veteran Vic Raschi zero for zero for five complete innings. Duke Snider and Yogi Berra exchanged solo shots in the sixth, and young slugger Mickey Mantle's first career World Series home run extended the lead to 3-1. Snider's second HR of the game drew the Dodgers within a run, but Yankees ace Allie Reynolds relieved Raschi and finished off the 3-2 win to send the Series to a seventh game. The Yankees would win that game the following day, leaving the Dodger faithful to, once again, "Wait 'til next year!"
