Joe releases a new track titled "Dilemma".
Grammy nominee JOE, who has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide, once again proves the staying power of soulful R&B; success with his Billboard Urban A/C Top 10 (and growing) hit single, "Love & Sex Pt. 2." The song features Grammy award winner Kelly Rowland, accompanied by a charismatic video shot by famed film director Billy Woodruff. "Love & Sex Pt. 2" is the lead song from the chart-topper's forthcoming album, BRIDGES, which will be released
June 23, 2014 on his new label Plaid Take-Over, with new partner and manager Gerald "Plaid" Isaac, through BMG Artist Services with distribution from RED.
BRIDGES, described as a therapeutic retrospect, takes a look into the multi-talented singer, songwriter-producer's outlook on life's relationship endeavors and where they have taken him. Derek "DOA" Allen (Tyrese, Wale, Smokey Norful), Edrick Miles (Trey Songz, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne), Gerald Isaac (Mary J. Blige, Mario, Angie Stone) and Taj Jackson (Ne-Yo, Monica, Janet Jackson) are among the producers and songwriters who collaborated on BRIDGES with JOE. BRIDGES follows his 2013 critically acclaimed album, DoubleBack: Evolution of R&B;, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top R&B;/Hip-Hop Albums and No. 6 on the Billboard 200 Charts.
Why Bridges? "We build them, cross them, burn them, then soon realize how much we need them. Relationships are bridges and at some point we must take responsibility for where we have allowed those relationships to take us. Most important, what relationships or bridges are we currently building, crossing into or burning?" says JOE.
"This album has all of the criteria needed in bridging JOE into other audiences and genres while remaining a staple with his core fan base," states Gerald Isaac. "The album is simply what it says."
On BRIDGES, Joe again brings to the forefront the elegant simplicity and amazing vocals that have made him one of music's most accomplished and popular singers with a strong foothold in today's R&B; music. Songs like "Sex Ain't A Weapon," with its strong shuffle beat reminiscent of Marvin Gaye, keeps you grooving on the subject matter of the women who choose to hold back or deprive their man of lovin.' A Queen B should never hold back the honey...not later but sooner girl you'll hear the rumor that other fish been swimming around in your sea."
Then there's the powerful and thought-provoking ballad "If You Lose Her." The song positions JOE as a spokesman encouraging guys or the gambling man to think about the consequence of neglect through their own selfish pleasures, placing them at the very cusp of losing a good woman. Bridge
A bridge is a structure built to span physical obstacles without closing the way underneath such as a body of water, valley, or road, for the purpose of providing passage over the obstacle. There are many different designs that each serve a particular purpose and apply to different situations. Etymology
The Oxford English Dictionary traces the origin of the word bridge to an Old English word brycg, of the same meaning. The word can be traced directly back to Proto-Indo-European *bʰrēw-. The word for the card game of the same name has a different origin.
History
The first bridges made by humans were probably spans of cut wooden logs or planks and eventually stones, using a simple support and crossbeam arrangement. Some early Americans used trees or bamboo poles to cross small caverns or wells to get from one place to another. A common form of lashing sticks, logs, and deciduous branches together involved the use of long reeds or other harvested fibers woven together to form a connective rope capable of binding and holding together the materials used in early bridges.

Percy Romeo Miller, Jr. (born August 19, 1989), better known by his stage name Maserati Rome or simply Rome (formerly Lil' Romeo and Romeo) or his acting/business name Romeo Miller, is an American rapper, actor, basketball player, entrepreneur, and model. Grammy nominee JOE, who has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide, once again proves the staying power of soulful R&B; success with his Billboard Urban A/C Top 10 (and growing) hit single, "Love & Sex Pt. 2." The song features Grammy award winner Kelly Rowland, accompanied by a charismatic video shot by famed film director Billy Woodruff. BRIDGES, described as a therapeutic retrospect, takes a look into the multi-talented singer, songwriter-producer's outlook on life's relationship endeavors and where they have taken him. Derek "DOA" Allen (Tyrese, Wale, Smokey Norful), Edrick Miles (Trey Songz, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne), Gerald Isaac (Mary J. Blige, Mario, Angie Stone) and Taj Jackson (Ne-Yo, Monica, Janet Jackson) are among the producers and songwriters who collaborated on BRIDGES with JOE. BRIDGES follows his 2013 critically acclaimed album, DoubleBack: Evolution of R&B;, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top R&B;/Hip-Hop Albums and No. 6 on the Billboard 200 Charts.
Why Bridges? "We build them, cross them, burn them, then soon realize how much we need them. Relationships are bridges and at some point we must take responsibility for where we have allowed those relationships to take us. Most important, what relationships or bridges are we currently building, crossing into or burning?" says JOE.
"This album has all of the criteria needed in bridging JOE into other audiences and genres while remaining a staple with his core fan base," states Gerald Isaac. "The album is simply what it says."
On BRIDGES, Joe again brings to the forefront the elegant simplicity and amazing vocals that have made him one of music's most accomplished and popular singers with a strong foothold in today's R&B; music. Songs like "Sex Ain't A Weapon," with its strong shuffle beat reminiscent of Marvin Gaye, keeps you grooving on the subject matter of the women who choose to hold back or deprive their man of lovin.' Then there's the powerful and thought-provoking ballad "If You Lose Her." BRIDGES follows his 2013 critically acclaimed album, DoubleBack: Evolution of R&B;, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top R&B;/Hip-Hop Albums and No. 6 on the Billboard 200 Charts.
Why Bridges? "We build them, cross them, burn them, then soon realize how much we need them. Relationships are bridges and at some point we must take responsibility for where we have allowed those relationships to take us. A new (shortened) setlist debuted at this show.
The full version of 'Papercut' opened up the set for the first time since 2014.06.14 Download (when 'Hybrid Theory' was performed in full). A brand new buildup intro was performed, as well.
'A Line In The Sand' featured an extended keyboard intro. Chester messed up during the final chorus. The song was performed at a slower BPM than the studio version (performed in 190BPM, as opposed to 200BPM).
Chester messed up the lyrics during the first chorus of 'Wastelands'.
Aaron Pauley from Of Mice & Men joined the band for the 'Iridescent' portion of the Ballad Medley.
The full version of 'New Divide' was performed for the first time since the band performed on Warped Tour (2014.6.24). Barring that performance, every time the song was played on The Hunting Party Tour, it was shortened.
Mike's solo portion of the show featured a 'hybrid' verse of 'Wretches And Kings', the chorus of 'Remember The Name' (by Fort Minor), and a 'hybrid' verse of 'Remember The Name'. After the 'hybrid' verse of 'Remember The Name', he went into the chorus again.
Joe messed up several samples during 'Numb'.
Mike went into the crowd during 'In The End'. Joe missed some samples during the bridge.
Austin Carlile from Of Mice & Men joined the band for 'Faint'. Mike yelled for him to come out before the song started.
After being dropped during the previous tour, the Wall Of Noise Outro to 'Waiting For The End' returned at this show.
During the bridge of 'Bleed It Out', Chester conducted a sing-a-long with the crowd. It seemed as if he meant to do the refrain of 'The Catalyst' (because Brad started the guitar part usually played during that portion of the song), but forgot and instead improvised a sing-a-long.
Debuts:
This was the first time 'A Line In The Sand' was performed live.
Other Notes:
Linkin Park was the direct support for Metallica. They performed a shortened set for 75 minutes.
This was the first edition of Rock In Rio USA. The band has performed at Rock In Rio Lisboa on multiple occasions, however: in 2008, 2012, and 2014.
Before the show, Joe performed a DJ set at Rehab. Tickets were given out to the LPU at the LPU Meetups event beforehand to those who wanted to attend.

Show Notes:
A new (shortened) setlist debuted at this show.
The full version of 'Papercut' opened up the set for the first time since 2014.06.14 Download (when 'Hybrid Theory' was performed in full). A brand new buildup intro was performed, as well.
'A Line In The Sand' featured an extended keyboard intro. Chester messed up during the final chorus. The song was performed at a slower BPM than the studio version (performed in 190BPM, as opposed to 200BPM).
Chester messed up the lyrics during the first chorus of 'Wastelands'.
Aaron Pauley from Of Mice & Men joined the band for the 'Iridescent' portion of the Ballad Medley.
The full version of 'New Divide' was performed for the first time since the band performed on Warped Tour (2014.6.24). Barring that performance, every time the song was played on The Hunting Party Tour, it was shortened.
Mike's solo portion of the show featured a 'hybrid' verse of 'Wretches And Kings', the chorus of 'Remember The Name' (by Fort Minor), and a 'hybrid' verse of 'Remember The Name'. After the 'hybrid' verse of 'Remember The Name', he went into the chorus again.
Joe messed up several samples during 'Numb'.
Mike went into the crowd during 'In The End'. Joe missed some samples during the bridge.
Austin Carlile from Of Mice & Men joined the band for 'Faint'. Mike yelled for him to come out before the song started.
After being dropped during the previous tour, the Wall Of Noise Outro to 'Waiting For The End' returned at this show.
During the bridge of 'Bleed It Out', Chester conducted a sing-a-long with the crowd. It seemed as if he meant to do the refrain of 'The Catalyst' (because Brad started the guitar part usually played during that portion of the song), but forgot and instead improvised a sing-a-long.
Debuts:
This was the first time 'A Line In The Sand' was performed live.
Other Notes:
Linkin Park was the direct support for Metallica. They performed a shortened set for 75 minutes.
This was the first edition of Rock In Rio USA. The band has performed at Rock In Rio Lisboa on multiple occasions, however: in 2008, 2012, and 2014.
Before the show, Joe performed a DJ set at Rehab. Tickets were given out to the LPU at the LPU Meetups event beforehand to those who wanted to attend.
