¡Cuatro!

¡Cuatro! is a 2013 rockumentary starring the punk rock band Green Day, directed by Tim Wheeler. The film documents the creation of the band's 2012 album trilogy ¡Uno!, ¡Dos! and ¡Tré!. The documentary, directed by Tim Wheeler and produced by Tim Lynch (who had previously produced Green Day's Bullet in a Bible in 2005), was released through Reprise Records on the September 24, 2013. A 40-minute version of the documentary premiered on VH1 in 2012. The documentary contains footage of Green Day's producer Rob Cavallo and Green Day's days composing and organizing the trilogy up until their release. ¡Cuatro! was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Music Film.

Content

¡Cuatro! contains footage of Green Day in the studio composing, organizing, practicing and discussing the albums, as well as speaking on their approach to recording an album trilogy. The documentary also contains live footage of Green Day performing their new songs at small club shows across the United States in 2011 and 2012.

Cuatro (Flotsam and Jetsam album)

Cuatro (meaning "four" in Spanish) is the fourth album by Flotsam and Jetsam. It was released on October 13, 1992. The album was re-released on May 13, 2008 by Metal Mind Productions. This release is remastered with five bonus tracks and limited to 2000 copies. The re-release also contains new packaging and liner notes from band members Eric A.K., Jason Ward and Ed Carlson.

Chris Cornell (of the grunge band, Soundgarden) co-wrote "The Message" and is credited as Christopher Cornell.

Eric Braverman is credited as "Production Coordinator and the Sixth Flotsam" and is credited as a co-writer on all but two of the album's songs.

Rebecca (musical)

Rebecca is a German-language musical based on the novel of the same name by Daphne du Maurier. It was written by Michael Kunze (book and lyrics) and Sylvester Levay (music), the authors of the musicals Elisabeth, Mozart! and Marie Antoinette. The plot, which adheres closely to the original novel, revolves around wealthy Maxim DeWinter, his naïve new wife, and Mrs. Danvers, the manipulative housekeeper of DeWinter's Cornish estate Manderley. Mrs. Danvers resents the new wife's intrusion and persuades the new wife that she is an unworthy replacement for the first Mrs. DeWinter, the glamorous and mysterious Rebecca, who perished in a drowning accident. The new Mrs. DeWinter struggles to find her identity and take control of her life among the shadows left by Rebecca.

The musical premiered on September 28, 2006 at the Raimund Theater in Vienna, Austria, where it ran for three years. Subsequent productions have been mounted in Finland, Japan and elsewhere.

Background

As a teenager, Michael Kunze had read Daphne du Maurier's novel Rebecca. In the 1990s, he re-read it and decided that the story would make a good musical. He traveled to Cornwall, England, to find du Maurier's son in an attempt to obtain the rights to musicalize the work, which had been denied to other librettists. Attending a performance of Kunze's long-running 1992 musical Elisabeth in Vienna persuaded du Maurier's son that the novel would be in good hands with Kunze and his musical partner Sylvester Levay.

Anirul

A Bene Gesserit of Hidden Rank, Anirul is noted in Dune (1965) to be the wife of the 81st Padishah Emperor Shaddam IV and the mother of his five daughters, the Princesses Irulan, Chalice, Wensicia, Josifa and Rugi. Anirul is also featured in the Prelude to Dune prequel trilogy (1999–2001) by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson.

Rebecca (miniseries)

Rebecca is a 1997 British/German television serial directed by Jim O'Brien. The teleplay by Arthur Hopcraft is based on the 1938 novel of the same name by Daphne du Maurier.

The serial was filmed for Carlton Television by Portman Productions in association with WGBH and Tele München. It was broadcast in the United States as a presentation of Masterpiece Theatre on PBS.

Synopsis

While vacationing in Monte Carlo in 1927, Maxim de Winter meets the young and somewhat naive British companion of Mrs. Van Hopper, a typical Ugly American whose bout of influenza frees the girl – who, as in the original novel, is never identified by name – to spend time with the wealthy widower. When Mrs. Van Hopper announces plans to return to New York City, Max proposes to the girl and brings her to his Cornwall coast estate known as Manderley. There a large household staff is supervised by Mrs. Danvers, who was devoted to Max's first wife Rebecca, the victim of a sailing accident some ten months before, whose battered body was discovered forty miles up the coast and identified by her distraught husband.

Vendetta (1995 film)

Vendetta is a 1995 film directed by Mikael Håfström. It stars Stefan Sauk as the Swedish intelligence officer Carl Hamilton and as his adversary Don Tommaso, Ennio Fantastichini. A mini series for television was filmed at the same time. It was aired as 6 episodes of 50-60 minutes each.

Plot

Carl Hamilton gets assigned to go to Sicily in order to free two Swedish business men who are kept captured by a local villain named Don Tommaso. The Don wants a Swedish naval robot system in exchange for his hostages. In the beginning Hamilton acts merely as a negotiator, but when he cannot accept the demands of his counterpart the situation escalates.

Hamilton stands up against Don Tommaso, while abduction and murder becomes the language of negotiation. A classical vendetta has been initiated, as narcotics from Colombia and the Italian intelligence community become involved.

Vendetta is a 1989 beat 'em up video game released by System 3 for the Amstrad CPC, Commodore 64, and ZX Spectrum.

Plot

A group of terrorists have kidnapped a professor working on a bomb as well as his daughter. A few weeks later, they have started to make impossible demands and have threatened to detonate a miniature nuclear weapon if the demands are not met.

The protagonist, initially armed with only a knife, decides to rescue both individuals. Along the way, he collects other weapons and evidence to convince other police officers to let him continue his work, as he heads to an army base, a booby-trapped airplane, and finally central park where the terrorists make the last stand.

Development

Vendetta was based on the same rendering method and display used by The Last Ninja, but used a rewritten engine. This game engine was then used for the game Last Ninja 3.

Vendetta received 93% from Zzap!64.
