Moving On is the story of a girl who is just on the cusp of leaving behind childhood. It's about friendships and how awkward and important they are and it is about all the exciting new things that come with growing up but sadness at what is being left behind.

Personal debt is at its highest level in history. We currently pay £192 million in interest to the banks every single day. Almost no-one under 40 years old can afford to buy a house. Over 2 million people are unable to find work in the UK, and millions more worldwide...
But the government's 'answer' to this crisis is to get people to borrow even more!
No matter how many economists are working on the problem, they'll never solve it because they're missing the most important piece of the puzzle.
But once this missing piece is found, even a 10 year old can understand it.

Ilex /ˈaɪlɛks/, or holly, is a genus of 400 to 600 species of flowering plants in the family Aquifoliaceae, and the only living genus in that family. The species are evergreen and deciduous trees, shrubs, and climbers from tropics to temperate zones worldwide.
Description
The genus Ilex is widespread throughout the temperate and subtropical regions of the world. It includes species of trees, shrubs, and climbers, with evergreen or deciduous foliage and inconspicuous flowers. Its range was more extended in the Tertiary period and many species are adapted to laurel forest habitat. It occurs from sea level to more than 2,000 metres (6,600 ft) with high mountain species. It is a genus of small, evergreen trees with smooth, glabrous, or pubescent branchlets. The plants are generally slow-growing with some species growing to 25 m (82 ft) tall. The type species is the European holly Ilex aquifolium described by Linnaeus.
Plants in this genus have simple, alternate glossy leaves, typically with a spiny toothed, or serrated leaf margin. The inconspicuous flower is greenish white, with four petals. They are generally dioecious, with male and female flowers on different plants.

David Easton
David Easton (June 24, 1917 – July 19, 2014) was a Canadian-born American political scientist. Easton, who was born in Toronto, Ontario, came to the United States in 1943. From 1947-1997, he served as a professor of political science at the University of Chicago.
At the forefront of both the behavioralist and post-behavioralist revolutions in the discipline of political science during the 1950s and 1970s, Easton provided the discipline's most widely used definition of politics as the authoritative allocation of values for the society. He is renowned for his application of systems theory to the study of political science. Policy analysts have utilized his five-fold scheme for studying the policy-making process: input, conversion, output, feedback and environment. Gunnell argues that since the 1950s the concept of "system" was the most important theoretical concept used by American political scientists. The idea appeared in sociology and other social sciences but it was Easton who specified how it could be best applied to behavioral research on politics.

Colin Hill
Colin Frederick Hill (born 12 November 1963 in Uxbridge, England) is a former Northern Irish professional football player most notable for his careers with Arsenal and Leicester City and as a Northern Ireland international.
Career
Hill played as a youth for Hillingdon Borough before joining Arsenal on schoolboy forms in 1977, becoming an apprentice in 1980 and turning professional in 1981. Initially a striker, he was converted into a defender and made his debut against Norwich City on 20 April 1983. He made 7 appearances in total that season, and went on to play 37 league games in 1983-84, mostly at right-back, but the signing of Viv Anderson forced him out of the first team and he spent most of the next two seasons in the reserves.
Hill left Arsenal for Portuguese side Marítimo in 1986 on a free transfer, having played 51 games and scoring one goal for Arsenal. He later had spells with Colchester United, Sheffield United (winning them promotion to the First Division in 1989-90), Leicester City (winning promotion to the Premier League in 1995-96, although he missed out on the 1997 League Cup Final), Trelleborgs and Northampton Town. He also won 27 caps for Northern Ireland.

Ben Tillett
Benjamin Tillett (11 September 1860 – 27 January 1943) was a British socialist, trade union leader and politician.
Early career
He was born in Bristol. He started work in a brickyard at eight years of age and was a "Risley" boy for two years. At 12 years of age, he served for six months on a fishing smack, was afterwards apprenticed to a bootmaker and then joined the Royal Navy. He was invalided out of the navy and made several voyages in merchant ships. He then settled at the London Docks, and took up work as a docker.
Trade union activities
He began his career as a trade union organiser in 1887 by forming the Tea Operatives and General Labourers Union at Tilbury docks. Tillett and his union, renamed the Dock, Wharf, Riverside and General Labourers' Union, rose to prominence during the London Dock Strike (1889), although the strike itself began without union involvement. Tillett also played a prominent role as a strike leader in dock strikes in 1911 and 1912. He was instrumental in forming the National Transport Workers' Federation in 1910, along with Havelock Wilson of the Seamen's Union.

Hugely popular in Europe, Para is slowly catching on in the U.S. We fielded a strong team to send to London. The United States Para-Equestrian Association hopes to encourage more new riders, especially junior riders, to become active competitors. As an aspiring Para-Dressage rider, I've been following members of Team USA for several years at shows around the country and been privileged to witness the progress of both emerging talent and broader acceptance of Para in general. However, the goal remains greater integration with able-bodied riders and level opportunities. While the glitz of the elite riders is thrilling and humbling, I believe Para riders participating at the local level have so much impact on people's mindset about disability. In an effort to spread the word about this spectrum of horse sport, I want to address how Para and therapeutic programs can benefit each other. Therapeutic programs are where many top riders started and the therapeutic network offers a great resource and bridge for any rider looking to crossover to a competitive track. Also, therapy evaluators can be a resource to find suitable horses. Both Vinceremos Therapy Center in Palm Beach, FL and Carlisle Academy in Lyman, ME have been able to provide several safe, yet quality mounts for Para clinics and shows. Grades Ia, Ib and II are closest to therapeutic riding; Grades III and IV are closer to able-bodied. Promoting a Para rider competing against able-bodied riders or doing Para tests locally can increase visibility for therapeutic programs and perhaps, push instructors and students to reach further than they imagined they could go. As a journalist, I've written about Para topics for DressageDaily.com since 2009, at CPEDI3* shows around the country from Del Mar, CA, Lamplight, IL, Wellington, FL, Saugerties, NY, several Para clinics, plus the 2010 World Equestrian Games in KY and the 2012 Paralympic Selection Trials held at Gladstone, NJ. My Bio: Holly Jacobson: I was severely burned in a carfire at age 23, resulting in amputation of my right arm, all my fingers on the left hand, nerve damage in my right leg and severe facial scarring. In 2000, after a 14-year hiatus away from horses, I started riding again. My horse passion led me back to compete in hunter shows, jumping with one arm and now, inspired by the skill of Para-Equestrians I've met, I'm delving into dressage. But the government's 'answer' to this crisis is to get people to borrow even more!
No matter how many economists are working on the problem, they'll never solve it because they're missing the most important piece of the puzzle.
But once this missing piece is found, even a 10 year old can understand it.

When Hannah’s parents took her to a new school, they said it was to give her a new start. However, Hannah is 11, autistic, and due to her condition, unable to speak. She had a twin called Angel, but when Angel died, Hannah was forbidden to grieve by her abusive parents and punished when she sought comfort from her sister’s things. Now Hannah lives locked inside a silent life of despair, which she fears will soon end at the hands of her parents. However, when a knife keeps appearing under her pillow, a voice that she thinks is inside her head won’t leave her alone, Hannah begins to realise that just maybe, she may have an ally not of this world, but fear paralyses her. Report and insight on the Para-Equestrian portion of the 2012 Paralympics. Hugely popular in Europe, Para is slowly catching on in the U.S. We fielded a strong team to send to London. The United States Para-Equestrian Association hopes to encourage more new riders, especially junior riders, to become active competitors.
As an aspiring Para-Dressage rider, I've been following members of Team USA for several years at shows around the country and been privileged to witness the progress of both emerging talent and broader acceptance of Para in general. However, the goal remains greater integration with able-bodied riders and level opportunities.
While the glitz of the elite riders is thrilling and humbling, I believe Para riders participating at the local level have so much impact on people's mindset about disability.
In an effort to spread the word about this spectrum of horse sport, I want to address how Para and therapeutic programs can benefit each other.
Therapeutic programs are where many top riders started and the therapeutic network offers a great resource and bridge for any rider looking to crossover to a competitive track. Also, therapy evaluators can be a resource to find suitable horses. Both Vinceremos Therapy Center in Palm Beach, FL and Carlisle Academy in Lyman, ME have been able to provide several safe, yet quality mounts for Para clinics and shows. Grades Ia, Ib and II are closest to therapeutic riding; Grades III and IV are closer to able-bodied.
Promoting a Para rider competing against able-bodied riders or doing Para tests locally can increase visibility for therapeutic programs and perhaps, push instructors and students to reach further than they imagined they could go.
As a journalist, I've written about Para topics for DressageDaily.com since 2009, at CPEDI3* shows around the country from Del Mar, CA, Lamplight, IL, Wellington, FL, Saugerties, NY, several Para clinics, plus the 2010 World Equestrian Games in KY and the 2012 Paralympic Selection Trials held at Gladstone, NJ.
My Bio: Holly Jacobson: I was severely burned in a carfire at age 23, resulting in amputation of my right arm, all my fingers on the left hand, nerve damage in my right leg and severe facial scarring. In 2000, after a 14-year hiatus away from horses, I started riding again. My horse passion led me back to compete in hunter shows, jumping with one arm and now, inspired by the skill of Para-Equestrians I've met, I'm delving into dressage. I also write regularly for Massachusetts Horse Magazine and Practical Horseman.

Starring an impressive list of acclaimed American, European and Asian actors, "Holly" presents the true story of a twelve-year old Vietnamese girl who is sold into a brothel in Cambodia, and an American man who tries to save her.
According to the producers, the purpose of the film is not only to educate and inform audiences about the very real existence of child trafficking, but also to spearhead a worldwide human rights campaign against this crime.
Adi Ezroni and Guy Jacobson, the producers of this compelling film, recently sat down with Julie Vahdati, host of A Woman's World, to talk about the film, the support and involvement of the U.S. State Department, and the number of ways international audiences can become involved in the worldwide campaign against human trafficking.

As an aspiring Para-Dressage rider, I've been following members of Team USA for several years at shows around the country and been privileged to witness the progress of both emerging talent and broader acceptance of Para in general. However, the goal remains greater integration with able-bodied riders and level opportunities.
While the glitz of the elite riders is thrilling and humbling, I believe Para riders participating at the local level have so much impact on people's mindset about disability.
In an effort to spread the word about this spectrum of horse sport, I want to address how Para and therapeutic programs can benefit each other.
Therapeutic programs are where many top riders started and the therapeutic network offers a great resource and bridge for any rider looking to crossover to a competitive track. Also, therapy evaluators can be a resource to find suitable horses. Both Vinceremos Therapy Center in Palm Beach, FL and Carlisle Academy in Lyman, ME have been able to provide several safe, yet quality mounts for Para clinics and shows. Grades Ia, Ib and II are closest to therapeutic riding; Grades III and IV are closer to able-bodied.
Promoting a Para rider competing against able-bodied riders or doing Para tests locally can increase visibility for therapeutic programs and perhaps, push instructors and students to reach further than they imagined they could go.
As a journalist, I've written about Para topics for DressageDaily.com since 2009, at CPEDI3* shows around the country from Del Mar, CA, Lamplight, IL, Wellington, FL, Saugerties, NY, several Para clinics, plus the 2010 World Equestrian Games in KY and the 2012 Paralympic Selection Trials held at Gladstone, NJ.
My Bio: Holly Jacobson: I was severely burned in a carfire at age 23, resulting in amputation of my right arm, all my fingers on the left hand, nerve damage in my right leg and severe facial scarring. In 2000, after a 14-year hiatus away from horses, I started riding again. My horse passion led me back to compete in hunter shows, jumping with one arm and now, inspired by the skill of Para-Equestrians I've met, I'm delving into dressage. I also write regularly for Massachusetts Horse Magazine and Practical Horseman.

This video was created while I am in New Zealand. I started this project because I miss everyone so much. It's a feeling that I know I will never feel about anything different then camp. Every single day I think about it, and all my close friends. I honestly do not know what I would be doing today if it weren't for camp. So much has happened, and it 100% has changed my life for the better. If you have never been to camp before, then you can definitely see how special it is. So here is my camp video, everything from my last year of junior high to my last camp before leaving to NZ. And I also want to give a shoutout to Nick, Olivia, Indy, Hailey, Bibi, Uri, Cassie, Skye and Grayson. With you guys, probably held some kind of record for our group iMessages, having one since October CON of last year, I would always be with at least one of you at camp, and when we were all together, I made some of my favorite memories. So thank you guys, and every single person who has been to camp before, because we all have a connection now. Alright enough chatter, enjoy the video! Hope you have a good laugh, cry, or even both! In January 1888, after a disarming warm spell, a violent storm of blinding snow and bitter cold suddenly struck the American Midwest, trapping farmers in fields, travelers on roads, and hundreds of children in schoolhouses with limited fuel. In January 1888, after a disarming warm spell, a violent storm of blinding snow and bitter cold suddenly struck the American Midwest, trapping farmers in fields, travelers on roads, and hundreds of children in schoolhouses with limited fuel. In this week's episode of the Futility Closet podcast we'll describe the Children's Blizzard, one of the most harrowing winter storms in American history.
We'll also play 20 Questions with a computer and puzzle over some vanishing vultures.

This week, Pastor Bobby continues his series of messages from the book of Romans with "Adoption in the Spirit."
Pastor Bobby outlines his vision for the fall season, explaining the changes the Hour of Power will experience, as well as Shepherd's Grove church.
Russ Jacobson is a member of the Shepherd's Grove pastoral team. His focus is on Christian education and the creation of small groups. Russ received his BA from UCLA, his MBA from the University of Montana, and his M.Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary. He has served both as an assistant and executive pastor in other congregations. Russ will soon celebrate his ordination as a minister in the Reformed Church in America. Russ, his wife Deanna, and their three children live in Orange County.
Hour of Power Woodwind Ensemble is comprised of six Hour of Power Orchestra members: Mary Oppermann, Ellie Choate, Scott Reese, Holly Patterson, Lea Steffens and Kristen Morrison. They perform "Hungarian Dance #1" (comp. Faranc Farkas).
Directed by Don Neuen, the choir performs "The Last Words of David" (comp. Randall Thompson). The choir is accompanied by Zelijko Marasovich on the organ.
