Not only that, most of my family members is in the medical field and so they also influence me to take this path for my future. Since when I was young, I was told to be the "curious-boy." I always ask why and if no one can give me answers, I either do it or ask more people about it as if I have to prove it for myself or I have to prove it to someone that it is either fake or real. While I was growing up, I have notice that my curiosity not only about people themselves, about life, about the things going on around us, and even beyond that grew that is when I decided to take the path of science. Science gives you facts, theories, and laws that are proven; a factual, it can be seen; it can prove with data and research. There are three things I plan to make an impact in the field of science- by setting an example to our future generation, by helping people by volunteering, lastly to become a doctor. I am part of the future generation of this world and it also my responsibility to encourage and persuade young teenagers to succeed more in their life. I believe that a person only has boundaries when he sets one for himself; for me, sky is the limit. I also believe that one person can make a big impact even in a smallest action. As the oldest among three siblings, I have to set an example for them to see what it is to be a better citizen and to be successful in life. One of the ways is by volunteering. Volunteering is a very good example of helping yourself as well as others benefiting for a better cause. Volunteering in a hospital is one of the ways a person who is interested of becoming a doctor or any job in the medical field. It will teach you not only to know the procedure but also to become more familiarize of your job will be. Lastly, to become what you want to be- I want to be a cardiologist. To make a big impact- I need to be in charge, I need to be part of that field. Cardiologist is a heart doctor but to become one I must apply everything I've learned from school to volunteering to medical school. When I become a cardiologist, I would dedicate myself to my career and to my profession; I intend to extend my hands for those countries who needs me. I also want to be a researcher to solve such medical mystery problems such as the cure for cancer and aids. That is my plan impacting the field of science. I hope my reasons would allow me to acquire this scholarship because this would certainly help me reach my ultimate goal -- to become a doctor.
