Torc Waterfall (Irish: Easach Toirc) is a waterfall at the base of Torc Mountain, about 5 miles (8.0 km) from Killarney in County Kerry, Ireland.
The falls are one of the landmarks on the 200 kilometre Kerry Way walking tour, and are encompassed in the Killarney National Park.Red deer are frequently seen and heard in the area.
Easy access and parking make the site popular with walkers and tour bus groups, who often visit as part of the Ring of Kerry tour.
A public hiking trail stretches from the waterfall to the top of Torc Mountain.

Mike Fitz and Arthur Murphy showing me Torc Waterfall, Torc Mountain at Killarney National Park, Ireland. March 6, 2013.
During a visit to Killarney, Ireland, in October 2010, my sister Jackie, neice Erin, and I walked around Muckross Lake in Killarney National Park. I shot this video at Torc Waterfall nearing the end of our 17km walk, after we climbed up above the falls and down to this location.
Irish legend has it that the Torc Waterfall in Kerry was created by a man who was turned into a wild boar by a curse...this is the story together with useful information about this amazing force of nature. Spectacular falls near Killarney and forming part of Ring of Kerry tour.
Nothing better than a refreshing splash at Torc Waterfalls in Killarney National Park in Ireland to get over the warm weather. It is a bit difficult to get to the bathing point, you must go through sharp and slippery rocks, but once you get there is amazingly wellworthy as you can see in the video... Torc waterfall is a stunning heavy waterfall with amazing views. The drop is 60 feet, formed by the river: The Devil's Punch Bowl in the mountains behind. There is a wide footpath leading visitors up the side of the waterfall with views of Torc Mountain and Killarney's lakes on the ascent. Its manufactured tweeness is renowned – the shops selling soft-toy shillelaghs and shamrocks, the placards on street corners pointing to trad-music sessions. However, it has attractions beyond its proximity to lakes, waterfalls and woodland spreading beneath a skyline of 1000m-plus peaks. In a town that's been practising the tourism game for more than 250 years, competition keeps standards high and visitors on all budgets can expect to find good restaurants, great pubs and comfortable accommod...
