Water (chemical formula: H2O) is a transparent fluid which forms the world's streams, lakes, oceans and rain, and is the major constituent of the fluids of organisms. As a chemical compound, a water molecule contains one oxygen and two hydrogen atoms that are connected by covalent bonds. Water is a liquid at standard ambient temperature and pressure, but it often co-exists on Earth with its solid state, ice; and gaseous state, steam (water vapor). It also exists as snow, fog, dew and cloud.
Water covers 71% of the Earth's surface. It is vital for all known forms of life. On Earth, 96.5% of the planet's crust water is found in seas and oceans, 1.7% in groundwater, 1.7% in glaciers and the ice caps of Antarctica and Greenland, a small fraction in other large water bodies, and 0.001% in the air as vapor, clouds (formed of ice and liquid water suspended in air), and precipitation. Only 2.5% of this water is freshwater, and 98.8% of that water is in ice (excepting ice in clouds) and groundwater. Less than 0.3% of all freshwater is in rivers, lakes, and the atmosphere, and an even smaller amount of the Earth's freshwater (0.003%) is contained within biological bodies and manufactured products. A greater quantity of water is found in the earth's interior.
Talk to you about this yellow stuff we call bilirubin metabolism chemistry conjugated and unconjugated forms of bilirubin that is the examiner might ask you question just little bit below the belt, how bilirubin is formed that's usually enough to bring everyone to their knees. So let me remind you there is a red blood cell an erythrocyte born and bred in the bone marrow via a process known as erythropoiesis and red blood cells do not go living for ever they have a life span of 120 days and after that is breaking down and releasing this substance called haemoglobin so the real question is how do we go from haemoglobin a 4 ring arrangement a cyclic tetrapyrrole to bilirubin again a tetrapyrrole but arranged in a linear fashion and the first thing that happens is that the iron of the haemoglo...

If the blood level of conjugated bilirubin becomes elevated, e.g. due to liver disease, excess conjugated bilirubin is excreted in the urine, indicating a pathological process. Unconjugated bilirubin is not water-soluble and so is not excreted in the urine. The difference between unconjugated and conjugated bilirubin is that unconjugated bilirubin is not soluble with water and conjugated bilirubin ..The unconjugated bilirubin is then sent to the liver, which conjugates the bilirubin with glucuronic acid, making it soluble in water. Most of this conjugated bilirubin goes into the bile and out into the small intestine.Unconjugated bilirubin—when heme is released from hemoglobin, it is ... to first measure the total bilirubin level (unconjugated plus conjugated bilirubin). ... The difference b...

This occurs when the liver fails to remove bilirubin from the body. Bilirubin is a yellowish pigment present in the digestive fluid called bile. A build-up of this yellowish pigment gives the yellowish tinge to the patient’s body. ----------------------------- Symptoms to look for: • Dark colored urine • Weakness • Fever • Fatigue • Constipation • Loss of appetite • Headaches • Nausea ----------------------------- Causes: • Live...
RBC contains Hemoglobin having two parts, Heme- an iron containing component, and globin protein. Normally, RBCs undergo hemolysis (=breakdown) in Spleen once they reach the end of their life, roughly ~120 days. The are broken down by the White Blood Cells of Spleen to release the Hemoglobin in them. The globin protein is salvaged, the Heme part separates from the iron it contains. What remains of Heme is now known as Biliverdin. This is then converted to Bilirubin and released into blood where it binds with plasma protein and is called Unconjugated Bilirubin. Because protein molecules are larger than the pores of Kidney, they are not excreted by the Kidney. The Unconjugated Bilirubin, because it is bound to protein, is further bigger than the pores, so it isn't excreted by Kidney either....
Turmeric is a very effective remedy in curing gallstones, liver problems, and jaundice. ◦In a glass of hot water mix a quarter teaspoon of turmeric powder and drink it twice or thrice a day. ◦Papaya is a good and effective treatment against liver problems, and cancer which can result in jaundice. Papaya leaves, seeds, and bark along with the fruit can be used. ◦Take some tender leaves of papaya and make a paste of it. Consume half a teaspoon of this paste mixed with a teaspoon honey. ◦Lemon juice or a decoction of its leaves helps prevent any liver condition and repairs the damaged cells of it, thereby curing jaundice. ◦Drink lemon juice. Or boil handful of lemon leaves (around 10) in a cup of water for five minutes. Consume this prepared jaundice remedy for 3-5 days. ◦Ginger prevents c...
Dr. Devender Singh, Apollo Hospital Bilaspur C.G. Jaundice also known as icterus, from the Greek word ίκτερος; adjectival form, icteric is a yellowish pigmentation of the skin, the conjunctival membranes over the sclerae whites of the eyes, and other mucous membranes caused by hyperbilirubinemia increased levels of bilirubin in the blood. This hyperbilirubinemia subsequently causes increased levels of bilirubin in the extracellular fluid. Concentration of bilirubin in blood plasma is normally below 1.2 A concentration higher than leads to jaundice. The term jaundice comes from the French word jaune, meaning yellow. Jaundice is often seen in liver disease such as hepatitis or liver cancer. It may also indicate leptospirosis or obstruction of the biliary tract, for example by gallstones o...

What is jaundice? Well, jaundice is a condition where the skin and eyes take on a yellowish color due to increased levels of bilirubin in the bloodstream. Subscribe - https://goo.gl/w5aaaV. Bilirubin can be either unconjugated or conjugated; unconjugated bilirubin is produced by macrophages and conjugated bilirubin is stored in the gallbladder. Jaundice can be caused by both types of bilirubin getting into the blood, and this video covers common diseases that lead to increased serum levels of conjugated bilirubin, unconjugated bilirubin, or both. http://LiverStones.co Liver Gallbladder Flush Stone Results - This video shows a typcial liver stones & gallstones harvest. Most people who do the liver and gallbladder flush can ofte release hundreds of toxic stones & debris from the liver and gallbladder. These toxic stones inhibit the function of the liver which is the main detoxification method of the body. Liver stones and gallbladder stones can range in size and color from the size of a grain of sand to the size of a golf ball, typical colors range from yellow, tan, green, brown and black but can also be red, blue and white. Most stones produced from a liver flush or coffee enema are soft non-calcified stones which are made of of mostly cholesterol and float in water. Calcified stones are hard and typically made up of mostly excess...
