John Aprea
John Aprea (born March 4, 1941) is an American actor, known for his role as the young Sal Tessio in The Godfather: Part II (1974) and on television as Lucas Castigliano on the soap opera Another World, from 1989 to 1992. In 2006, he appeared in the soap opera The Heiress. He also played the father of John Stamos' character, Jesse Katsopolis, on Full House for two seasons. He also costarred with Lee Horsley in Matt Houston during the 1980s.
Aprea was born and grew up in Englewood, New Jersey. He has one daughter, Nicole Alexandra Aprea (born 1988).

Having played with some of the greats on the big band scene, saxophonist Ron Aprea has carved out a long and successful career as a jazz musician, and his abilities have even allowed him to leave his mark on a bit of rock and roll history.
In 1974, Aprea was one of several jazz musicians asked take part in recording with John Lennon for the former Beatle’s classic Walls and Bridges album, which went on to be Lennon’s second #1 album and produced the #1 single “Whatever Gets You Through the Night.”
Aprea has just released a tribute album to Lennon and the Beatles that offers new jazz treatments of some of the most memorable tunes written by Lennon and Paul McCartney.
In this interview with the O&F; Studios, Aprea talks about the new album and about working with Lennon, who had a great deal of respect for musicians.
The tribute album features a version of “Imagine,” where Aprea is joined by trumpeter Steve Madaio, one of the other original musicians from the Walls and Bridges sessions.

A reporter (John Aprea, "The Godfather Part II," "Another World") doing a story on life on the streets pays a young hustler (newcomer Jonathan Kos-Read) to tell him how he wound up where he is.
Filmed entirely in New York City, Confessions of a Male Prostitute was written, produced, and directed by Brian Scott Mednick when he was only nineteen and a freshman at NYU film school. He has since went on to write the acclaimed biography "Gene Wilder: Funny and Sad" (2010), as well as the short story collection "Drinking Games…and Other Stories" (2011) and the novel "Unnecessary Headaches."
Rex Reed said of the film: "I am a bit speechless. This is exemplary work...revealing much sensitivity and intelligence. The actors were absolutely first-rate and directed with skill, precision and naturalism… I actually could have hung in there with [these] characters for another hour or so. I am really most impressed with by the writing more than anything else – an economy of words, a wealth of style, an almost minimal thrust in dialogue but with maximum believability. [Brian Scott Mednick] has obvious talent... This short film is so good I would be very keen to see what [Mednick comes] up with in the next few years."

Having played with some of the greats on the big band scene, saxophonist Ron Aprea has carved out a long and successful career as a jazz musician, and his abilities have even allowed him to leave his mark on a bit of rock and roll history.

Two people died and as many as 17 people were shot at a Fort Myers, Fla. nightclub hosting a teen party in the early morning hours Monday, The Miami Herald reported via The New York Times. Gunfire erupted at The Swimsuit Glow Party at Club Blu around 12.30 a.m. where police found several victims suffering from gunshot wounds in the parking lot.
