2017 U20 AFCON QUALIFIER: Ghana to play Senegal on Friday
Ghana's U20 side the Black Satellites will take on The Young Lions of Terrenga in the second leg of the 2017 U20 AFCON qualifiers on Friday, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
The game will be played at the new Cape Coast Sports Stadium where the Satellites baptized Ethiopia a month ago.
The management team of the Satellites chose to play the game on Friday as CAF had given three dates from which the home side will choose.
According to the head coach of the side, they settled on Friday since there will be Ghana Premier League matches on both Saturday and Sunday.
Ghana lost the first leg in Senegal by 3-1 and will be left with a herculean task of scoring two unanswered goals or more to secure qualification to the tournament in Zambia.
But head coach Didi Dramani is optimistic his charges will qualify.
'We had the best part of the game in Senegal. They had only three chances and made good use of them. But I am sure we will make it,' Didi said.
