"Taste" is a short story by Roald Dahl that was first published in the March 1945 issue of Ladies Home Journal. It later appeared in the Dec 8 1951 New Yorker and the 1953 collection Someone Like You.
There are six people eating a fine dinner at the house of Mike Schofield, a London stockbroker: Mike, his wife and daughter, an unnamed narrator and his wife, and a wine connoisseur, Richard Pratt. Pratt often makes small bets with Schofield to guess what wine is being served at the table, but during the night in the story he is uninterested, instead attempting to socialize with Schofield's eighteen-year-old daughter, Louise.
When Schofield brings the second wine of the night he remarks that it will be impossible to guess where it is from, but Pratt takes that as a challenge. The tough talk on both sides leads the two to increase the bet until Pratt declares that he would like to bet for the hand of Schofield's daughter in marriage—if he loses, he will give Schofield both of his houses. Though his wife and daughter are understandably horrified, Mike eventually convinces them to accept the bet—it is too good a deal to pass up, especially since the wine will be impossible to identify.
University (formerly South Campus until September 1, 2003) is a Buffalo Metro Rail station located near the intersection of Main Street and Niagara Falls Boulevard on the University at Buffalo South Campus. It is a major transfer point between Metro Rail and many city and suburban bus routes, and offers a unique "Kiss and Ride" facility on the top level, above the ticket mezzazine. This allows drivers of automobiles a separate area to drop off passengers, so they do not add to the traffic congestion from buses at the station during rush-hour periods and a large park-and-ride facility directly to the east of the station. Since University Station serves as a terminal, immediately south is a double crossover. From May 20, 1985 to November 10, 1986, due to construction issues at LaSalle Station, Amherst Street Station served as the northern terminus. Since November 10, 1986, University Station serves as the northern terminus.
University Station serves UB South and transfer point for buses to the north and northeast suburbs of the city and is one of only four stations that offers an off-road bus loop, requiring passengers to board/debark using curbside stops (the other three being LaSalle Station, located 4,224 feet south, Delavan/Canisius College Station, located 15,840 feet south and Utica Station, located 20,592 feet south) and is served by 11 bus routes:

My heart took a beating from the lyin' and cheatin'
She really knows how to hurt
so I guess i'm lucky I'm outta the clutches
I can't forget good she looks
One taste of the bait is worth
The pain of the hook
Well now she's laughin' in someone else's face
Breakin' into someone else's heart
If i had good sense I'd say good riddens
I can't forget those temptin' looks
One taste of the bait is worth
The pain of the hook
One taste of the bait is worth the hook
she's got more spice then a Cajun cook
Friends rub it in 'man you got took'
But who wouldn't go for her good looks
It's easy to fall you don't need a push
One taste of the bait is worth
The pain of the hook
If she don't drive you crazy I guarantee you'll be
close enough to walk
'Cause nothings as sweet as her soft secrets
You won't forget how good she looks
Its easy to fall you don't need a push
One taste of the bait is worth the hook
Its easy to fall you don't need a push
One taste of the bait is worth
The pain of the hook
The pain of the hook
The pain of the hook (one taste of the bait is worth)
The pain of the hook (one taste of the bait is worth)
I said the pain of the hook (one taste of the bait is
worth)
