Stephen William Hawking CH, CBE, FRS, FRSA (
i/ˈstiːvən ˈhɔːkɪŋ/; born 8 January 1942) is an English theoretical physicist, cosmologist, author and Director of Research at the Centre for Theoretical Cosmology within the University of Cambridge. His scientific works include a collaboration with Roger Penrose on gravitational singularity theorems in the framework of general relativity, and the theoretical prediction that black holes emit radiation, often called Hawking radiation. Hawking was the first to set forth a theory of cosmology explained by a union of the general theory of relativity and quantum mechanics. He is a vigorous supporter of the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics.
He is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a lifetime member of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, and a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award in the United States. HOLY COW this keeps my drinks cold SO LONG
I really love this cup! It keeps my drinks cold for hours. With the summer heat and crazy humidity this year, this has come in handy 100% of the time. I really like that it fits in my car drink holders. I have been doing yardwork and have had this with a few ice cubes in it and the cup in the shade, but it was over 90 degrees and 6 hours later, there were still ice cubes in it! I like that the lid is spill resistant with the cool slide piece to cover the drink opening. It isn't spill proof because that would mean a screw on lid, but this is great. Walking the floor in Cologne I could bounce from a meeting on brand safety to a conversation on viewability to watching a fraud detection vendor discuss how to identify infection vectors and the over-arching take-aways in each case were that these issues are bigger than any one participant, that they are a shared responsibility and that they are manageable so long as we are united in a common, mutually-beneficial outcome....

The government has said it is “committed” to the “Alan Turing Law”, which could see thousands of men pardoned for convictions for homosexuality - but many have asked why it has taken so long ... But man questioned why plans to pardon those convicted under anti-homosexuality laws had taken so long ... The question is why has this taken so long?!!....

It is difficult for everybody because we have heard about some very successful outsiders’ stories too, and unfortunately not-so-very successful insiders’ stories.
