If I could only own five handguns in .45 ACP, these would be it. There are a lot of good options out there that were not included in this list. .45 caliber ammunition
.45 caliber ammunition comprises bullets (approximately 0.45 inch in diameter), first standardized by Colt's Patent Firearms Manufacturing Company in 1872.
That original .45 Colt round was developed along with the Colt Single Action Army revolver for the U.S. Army.
The .45-70 cartridge followed the next year, developed at the Army's Springfield Armory for the breech-loading Springfield Model 1873 rifle.
The .45 ACP is a cartridge designed by John Browning in 1904, for use in the prototype Colt semi-automatic .45 pistol he also designed. This ammunition also served the M1911 pistol adopted by the Army in 1911.
The .45 GAP is a variant of the regular .45 cartridge, designed on behalf of Glock for more compact handguns.

Calvin Alan Byrd, better known as 40 Cal, was an American rapper. He was a member of Harlem-based Hip-Hop group The Diplomats.
40 Cal made his first appearance on the self-titled theme song, "40 Cal" for the Dipset album Diplomatic Immunity 2. He took a part on MTV2's Fight Klub MC battles.

We have been playing with the Kriss Vector CRB .45 ACP Carbine for some time now, and we we were finally able to get it out to do a video on this little jewel. This rifle is just great, as if we cant' say it enough in the video. The Vector handles well, has minimal recoil due to the unique bolt design and function, and is just all around cool. The Vector is a very futuristic firearm even still by today's standards, put through it's paces here and even shows the .45 ACP's capability out to 300 yards from a 16" barreled carbine.

In this video we take one of Eric's pawn shop finds to the range for a workout, an older full size Kimber BP Ten II. This is pretty unique 1911 in that it features a double stack polymer frame with a fourteen shot magazine capacity. The BP Ten II is certainly an interesting firearm and a fun gun overall, although many people tend to dislike them and is a firearm no longer in production. Stay tuned as there may be upgrades on the way for this pistol that you guys are going to want to see.
