In their journey from north to south, the mission from Canada visited all kinds of sites in the Galilee and in the Golan, toured Masada and Ein Gedi, planted trees in Tzora Forest and visited the Israel Air Force base in Tel Nof. They also spent time in Jerusalem and in Tel Aviv. In the course of their trip, they toured many sites developed jointly with JNF Canada such as the Hula Lake Park, the Teddy Park in Jerusalem and the new residential developments in Halutza.

“It’s important for me to be connected to Israel, because I believe in this country,” said Shlomo Lupovich, 33, from Montreal. “It’s an amazing place to be. It sets a great example for the whole world, which can learn so much from Israel.”
