From 1935 to October 1, 2008, the company name was "Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd." On January 10, 2008, the company announced that it would change its name to "Panasonic Corporation", in effect on October 1, 2008, to conform with its global brand name "Panasonic". The name change was approved at a shareholders' meeting on June 26, 2008 after consultation with the Matsushita family.

As many of you who watch the show regularly know, I use a lot of Sony and Canon gear. But lately I've been curious as to what else is available. I've heard great things about the Panasonic GX85 and I was able to use one for a while. This is my review of the Panasonic GX85 as a stills camera. This week, we test Panasonic's Lumix LX100, a fixed-lens camera that equipped with a micro four-thirds image sensor. It's smaller than other mirrorless cameras, but doesn't exactly fit in the compact camera category like the Sony RX100 or Canon G7X. Однако повышается шанс промахов автофокуса в условиях с недостаточным освещением, не критично. Видеокамера хорошо подходит для видео блогеров на Ютуб. Для обзоров техники, репортажа в сумерки хорошо выручает встроенная подсветка. Также обзорщикам будет полезна способность съёмки в непосредственной близости от объектива. Баланс белого реально тормозной, часто ошибается в помещениях с искусственным светом. Ручная настройка б/б 100% выручает при съёмке обзоров с постоянной локацией и источником света. Смена сцен, локаций, источников света могут напрягать из-за постоянных жмяканий на ручной б/б, когда автоматика не справляется. Для обзоров техники, репортажа в сумерки хорошо выручает встроенная подсветка. Также обзорщикам будет полезна способность съёмки в непосредственной близости от объектива. Баланс белого реально тормозной, часто ошибается в помещениях с искусственным светом. Ручная настройка б/б 100% выручает при съёмке обзоров с постоянной локацией и источником света.
