The Sound of Music is now more than 50 years old. For its anniversary we visited Salzburg and met with cast members Duane Chase, Debbie Turner, Nicholas Hammond and Heather Menzies-Urich (who played Kurt, Marta, Friedrich, and Louisa in the classic Hollywood film). In an interview at Salzburg's Leopoldskron palace they describe their favourite and most challenging scenes from the film as well as a few behind the scenes secrets. It is followed by a scene from the 50th anniversary gala performance of the Sound of Music songs at the Felsenreitschule, where 50 years earlier, Julie Andrews, Christopher Plummer and the other children playing the von Trapp family shot the music concert scene from the film.

Nicholas Hammond (born May 15, 1950) is an American-born Australian actor best known for his roles as Friedrich von Trapp in the film The Sound of Music, and as Peter Parker/Spider-Man on the CBS television series The Amazing Spider-Man. He also appeared on the TV show The Brady Bunch as Doug Simpson, who breaks a date with Marcia after a football hits her nose causing it to swell.
The son of actress Eileen Bennett, Hammond was 10 when he made his first movie appearance in Lord of the Flies.
Besides his subsequent work as Spider-Man, Hammond's most visible screen role was as Friedrich von Trapp in the 1965 megahit The Sound of Music. During the filming of The Sound of Music he grew six inches (152 mm), from 5 ft 3 in (1.60 m) to 5 ft 9 in (1.75 m). In 1972 he starred as Peter Linder in Skyjacked alongside Walter Pidgeon and Charlton Heston. In 1973, he made a memorable guest appearance on The Brady Bunch in the 4th season episode #090 "The Subject Was Noses", as the high school hunk Doug Simpson who loses interest in Marcia after her tragic football accident. After making the transition from juvenile to young leading man, he spent several seasons in daytime soaps such as General Hospital. He has also appeared on many television shows of the 1970s including Hawaii Five-O.

Dame Julia Elizabeth Andrews, DBE (née Wells; born 1 October 1935) is an English film and stage actress, singer, and author. She is the recipient of Golden Globe, Emmy, Grammy, BAFTA, People's Choice Award, Theatre World Award, Screen Actors Guild and Academy Award honours.
Andrews is a former child actress and singer who made her Broadway debut in a 1954 production of The Boy Friend, and rose to prominence starring in musicals such as My Fair Lady and Camelot, both of which earned her Tony Award nominations. In 1957, she made her television debut with the title role in Cinderella, which was seen by over 100 million viewers.
Andrews made her feature film debut in Mary Poppins (1964), for which she won the Academy Award for Best Actress. She received her second Academy Award nomination for The Sound of Music (1965). Adjusted for inflation, these two films are the 25th and 3rd highest grossing films of all time, respectively. From 1964 to 1967, Andrews was the biggest film star in the world, with the additional box office successes of her films The Americanization of Emily, Hawaii, Torn Curtain, and Thoroughly Modern Millie.

1977-et írunk. A képregény filmek még gyerekcipőben jártak. A legtöbb ilyen alkotás nagyon gagyi és gyerekes volt. Sokkal inkább egy poénos filmről van szó, amit egyáltalán nem szabad komolyan venni. (Már amennyire egy képregény adoptációs filmet komolyan lehet) De azért manapság a filmipar megpróbálja elhitetni az emberekkel, hogy az adott film realisztikus és valósághű. Pl. Sötét Lovag trilógia, de a trailer alapján a Man of Steel is ilyen lesz. Pókember számomra mindig is a legjobb Marvel hős volt. Anno nagyon oda voltam a Sam Raimi féle filmekért, főként az első két részért. A 3.-ról felesleges beszélni, mert semmit nem ér. 1977-et írunk. A képregény filmek még gyerekcipőben jártak. A legtöbb ilyen alkotás nagyon gagyi és gyerekes volt. Sokkal inkább egy poénos filmről van szó, amit egyáltalán nem szabad komolyan venni. (Már amennyire egy képregény adoptációs filmet komolyan lehet)
De azért manapság a filmipar megpróbálja elhitetni az emberekkel, hogy az adott film realisztikus és valósághű. Pl. Sötét Lovag trilógia, de a trailer alapján a Man of Steel is ilyen lesz.
Pókember számomra mindig is a legjobb Marvel hős volt. Anno nagyon oda voltam a Sam Raimi féle filmekért, főként az első két részért. A 3.-ról felesleges beszélni, mert semmit nem ér. Viszont az idei Marc Webb által rendezett Csodálatos Pókember szerintem nagyon magasra tette a mércét a Pók filmeknél. Hatalmas meglepetés volt számomra.
És a Pókember iránti érdeklődésem miatt, úgy gondoltam a kezdeteket is meg kéne tekinteni, azt, hogy honnan indult az egész story fejlődése a filmvásznon. (Ezt anno a Batman filmeknél megtettem. Egészen 1943-tól kezdve). Ha jól tudom ez volt a legelső egész estés Pók film. Viszont ezt is úgy csinálták meg, mint a 60-as évekbeli Batman filmet, azaz a korabeli sorozatból készítettek egy különálló mozit.
A történetet, gondolom nem kell részleteznem. Már mindenki kívülről fújja. Peter Parkert (Nicholas Hammond) megcsípi egy pók. Majd ezek után szupererőre tesz szert. Miután felfedezte a képességeit, felkerül a testére a piros-kék szerelés, aztán elkezdődik a bűnüldözés.
(Bár minden filmben, más szituációban marja meg a pók.)
A film szinkronizálása hagy némi kívánni valót maga után. Az egész hangalámondásos volt. És abban biztos vagyok, hogy ez nem fokozta az élményt, sőt...
A technika megmosolyogtató volt, de legalább megpróbálták. A színészi játékról nem sokat lehetne írni, mivel semmi kiemelkedő teljesítmény nem volt. Inkább az amatőrizmus jellemezte a színészeket.
Ami fura volt, hogy az események nagyon gyorsan történtek. Nem részletezték a fontosabb dolgokat, ellentétben a mai filmekkel. De az akkori korra ez volt a jellemző, úgyhogy ezt nem fogtam fel negatívumként.
Végül, ami a legnagyobb meglepetést okozta, hogy hűek maradtak a képregényhez és nem Peter csuklójából jön ki a háló. Hatalmas baki volt ez Raimi filmjeiben.
Összességében nem bántam meg, hogy megnéztem. Akik komolyabban bele akarnak mélyülni a képregény adoptációkba azoknak érdemes megnézni a régi idők filmjeit is ebben a műfajban. 5/10

1977-et írunk. A képregény filmek még gyerekcipőben jártak. A legtöbb ilyen alkotás nagyon gagyi és gyerekes volt. Sokkal inkább egy poénos filmről van szó, amit egyáltalán nem szabad komolyan venni. (Már amennyire egy képregény adoptációs filmet komolyan lehet)
De azért manapság a filmipar megpróbálja elhitetni az emberekkel, hogy az adott film realisztikus és valósághű. Pl. Sötét Lovag trilógia, de a trailer alapján a Man of Steel is ilyen lesz.
Pókember számomra mindig is a legjobb Marvel hős volt. Anno nagyon oda voltam a Sam Raimi féle filmekért, főként az első két részért. A 3.-ról felesleges beszélni, mert semmit nem ér. Viszont az idei Marc Webb által rendezett Csodálatos Pókember szerintem nagyon magasra tette a mércét a Pók filmeknél. Hatalmas meglepetés volt számomra.
És a Pókember iránti érdeklődésem miatt, úgy gondoltam a kezdeteket is meg kéne tekinteni, azt, hogy honnan indult az egész story fejlődése a filmvásznon. (Ezt anno a Batman filmeknél megtettem. Egészen 1943-tól kezdve). Ha jól tudom ez volt a legelső egész estés Pók film. Viszont ezt is úgy csinálták meg, mint a 60-as évekbeli Batman filmet, azaz a korabeli sorozatból készítettek egy különálló mozit.
A történetet, gondolom nem kell részleteznem. Már mindenki kívülről fújja. Peter Parkert (Nicholas Hammond) megcsípi egy pók. Majd ezek után szupererőre tesz szert. Miután felfedezte a képességeit, felkerül a testére a piros-kék szerelés, aztán elkezdődik a bűnüldözés.
(Bár minden filmben, más szituációban marja meg a pók.)
A film szinkronizálása hagy némi kívánni valót maga után. Az egész hangalámondásos volt. És abban biztos vagyok, hogy ez nem fokozta az élményt, sőt...
A technika megmosolyogtató volt, de legalább megpróbálták. A színészi játékról nem sokat lehetne írni, mivel semmi kiemelkedő teljesítmény nem volt. Inkább az amatőrizmus jellemezte a színészeket.
Ami fura volt, hogy az események nagyon gyorsan történtek. Nem részletezték a fontosabb dolgokat, ellentétben a mai filmekkel. De az akkori korra ez volt a jellemző, úgyhogy ezt nem fogtam fel negatívumként.
Végül, ami a legnagyobb meglepetést okozta, hogy hűek maradtak a képregényhez és nem Peter csuklójából jön ki a háló. Hatalmas baki volt ez Raimi filmjeiben.
Összességében nem bántam meg, hogy megnéztem. Akik komolyabban bele akarnak mélyülni a képregény adoptációkba azoknak érdemes megnézni a régi idők filmjeit is ebben a műfajban. 5/10

Looming larger than the Austrian alps on stage was surprise special guest and unofficial ambassador of the musical Nicholas Hammond, who played 14-year-old Friedrich in the beloved 1965 film alongside Julie Andrews. Hammond is an old friend of producer John Frost, and said he was happy to "just turn up" at opening nights, but there was one caveat....
