Cette brochure, écrite à plusieurs mains, s’adresse à toutes celles et ceux qui ont pour rêve, idée diffuse où carrément projet concret, de s’installer à  la campagne et de s’organiser, seulEs ou à plusieurs, autour de pratiques agricoles, qu’elles soient inscrites dans une perspective de luttes, dans un  objectif d’autosuffisance alimentaire ou encore en assumant une part d’économie marchande pour assurer un revenu de subsistance.

Une première partie donne un aperçu de comment s’est structuré le monde agricole en fRance, autour du principe de cogestion entre les  administrations publiques et le courant «majoritaire» dans la profession agricole.

Ensuite, la brochure tente de décrire les principales caractéristiques des structures professionnelles agricoles pour mieux comprendre en quoi elles engendrent un certain nombre de freins et d’obstacles aux projets d’installation s’inscrivant dans ou en dehors du cadre officiel. Le «parcours a l’installation» y est décortiqué.

Since its first edition the “Reclaim the Fields” (RtF) bulletin is a way to exchange and circulate information within the RtF network and to make RtF and its ideas visible where it’s still less known.

It’s usually published after each assembly meeting: it contains feedback fromthe last assembly and an invitation to the next one (the assemblies are the only decision making moments within RtF). It is also a means for the stars of the RtF constellation to share their news: to present projects, share information about actions, spread call-outs and publicise events to come.

The Connections between Anti-Prison Struggles and Reclaim the Fields

At this year's Reclaim the Fields European Assembly it was decided that we would hold an RTF camp in North Wales, in solidarity with local campaigns against a "mega-prision" project, which is currently underway. At first glance, it might not be obvious as to why Reclaim the Fields, which is struggling for access to land and control over our food systems, would choose to support prison struggles. In this text, however, we hope to show that there are some important and strong links between these issues, ones which we will hope to explore further during the camp itself.

About the camp

Reclaim the Fields (or RTF) UK was born in 2011, as a star in a wider constellation of food and land struggles that reaches around the globe. Since 2011, camps and other RTF gatherings have helped support local communities in struggle, share skills, developed networks, and strengthened the resistance to exploitation, in Bristol, west London, Gloucestershire, Nottingham and Fife among other locations.

Every two years there is also an international camp, where people from around Europe and beyond meet together to support a local struggle (from gold mining in Romania to open cast coal mining in Germany, for example). People share share stories and ideas about resistance and reclaiming our food system beyond national borders. This year, an international gathering will be held in in Wrexham, Wales.

Des mangeuses, mangeurs, paysans, parents, sans-terre, propriétaires fonciers, élus...se sont retrouvés à à la cantine de la cité d'agriculture de Vannes, à l'occasion de la Journée internationale des Luttes Paysannes - 17 Avril

Nous, mangeurs, mangeuses, paysannes, paysans, parents, sans terre, propriétaires fonciers, élus, ... alertons ce 17 avril à la cité de l'agricultre de Vannes sur un système qui se meurt et sur notre volonté déterminée à reprendre notre pouvoir de décision pour vivre et s'alimenter sur un territoire humain et sain.

A travers notre action auprès de la cité de l'agriculture ( SAFER, Chambre d'Agriculture, MSA, ...) nous voulons faire passer ces messages :

-> nous ne voulons plus d'un système sclérosé! Le système agricole actuel se meurt. D'autres façons de faire existent déjà, fonctionnent et ne demandent qu'à s'épanouir. Laissez nous faire, laissez nous être présents et acteurs, décider de notre alimentation, de nos paysages et de notre futur.

Une rencontre thématique du réseau Reclaim the Field

 Du 26 février au 1er mars 2015 à Lîle (31290 Vieillevigne – au sud de Toulouse)

D’après le ministère de l’agriculture, 20 000 fermes sont concernées chaque année par le départ en retraite des exploitant-e-s, et 13 000 installations seulement se font.1 Pourtant, nous connaissons tou-te-s des personnes en recherche de terres ou de fermes où s’installer et monter des projets. Projets « hors cadres » ou atypiques, difficulté d’accès aux moyens financiers, agrandissement des exploitations voisines, fermes « trop petites »… sont des raisons avancées pour expliquer cette situation.

In March 2011, a small gathering took place at Grow Heathrow, a land squat set up to resist the expansion of Heathrow Airport. The site has remained a pioneering example of an RTF attitude and approach to politics. The European Assembly brought together 30 people to discuss RTF and if there was the energy to make the UK into a star of the RTF constellation.

Avec notamment au programme :

- vendredi 21 : un carnet de voyage conté à la rencontre des paysans du monde

- samedi 22 : une discussion autour de la situation des luttes pour la terre au Mexique

- dimanche 23 : On fait quoi maintenant ? une journée de discussions autour de l'accès au foncier dans nos coins, des actions à mener pour soutenir les copain-ine-s qui ont des problèmes, ...

Together with you we want to organize a diverse and resistant Camp against the B87n, a new highway, that is supposed to be built through one of the last remaining pieces of intact landscape in the north of Saxony. On top, the highway is supposed to cut through the fields of the cooperative “Rote Beete”, one of the three projects of community-supported-agriculture in Saxony. The Camp means to underline the longlasting local resistance against the B87n.

But it is not all just about one more highway. Instead, it is all about the use and the price of ever-more concrete, ever-faster cars, ever-more use of energy and ever-more effectivness and profit.

Dies ist nun endlich die fertige Version des Protokolls von unserem Treffen im Januar 2014 auf Burg Lutter. Zum Erinnern fuer alle die da waren und zum nachlesen fuer alle INteressierten, die nicht selber kommen konnten.
