Edward John Frank "Eddie" Howe (born 29 November 1977) is an English former professional footballer and manager. A defender before retirement who spent much of his career at Bournemouth, he was the youngest manager in the Football League when appointed Bournemouth manager in January 2009. Howe rescued Bournemouth from relegation out of the Football League in his first season in charge, after the club started the season on -17 points, then led them to promotion the next. After a brief spell as manager at Burnley Howe returned to Bournemouth and led them to two further promotions in three seasons resulting in the club playing in the top flight of English football for the first time in their history. Howe's successes with Bournemouth resulted in him being given the inaugural Football League Manager of the Decade Award in 2015.
Howe was born in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. He began his footballing career with local youth teams Rossgarth and Parley Sports before starting his professional career at Bournemouth. He made his first-team debut in December 1995 against Hull City. Howe established himself as an important player in Bournemouth's defence and in 1998 he was selected for the England Under-21 team in the Toulon Tournament.

The men who decided England manager Sam Allardyce had to go made the painful decision in an effort to preserve the Football Association's integrity as "guardians of the game". FA chairman Greg Clarke and chief executive Martin Glenn met with Allardyce at Wembley on Tuesday and left the 61-year-old in no doubt he had reached the end of a short road with the national side. Allardyce ultimately agreed to terminate his contract, having been left in an untenable position by a Daily Telegraph sting operation that captured him negotiating lucrative speaking engagements in the Far East as well as making indiscreet and damaging remarks about a range of issues including third-party ownership.

Run For Cover
See the man in white
He's old he wouldn't dare to fight, to fight another
Rockin' like a beast upon on a never ending dream
We love each other
Asking for a sign- the action's coming from behind
Let's run for cover
Feel the music's beat, we fight for rock
And in the heat we stand together
We're holding back for you when you fight
And we stand for one another
We're holding back for you, when you run for cover
And see those open eyes
When you are standing here tonight
That's why- We're holding back for you, when you run for cover
Restless in the night, we all stand up for this delight
We fight together
We're holding back for you when you fight
And we stand for one another
We're holding back for you, when you run for cover
We're holding back for you.......
