Tiger Shroff

Jai Hemant Shroff (born 2 March 1990) better known as Tiger Shroff is an Indian film actor and martial artist. He is the son of Bollywood veteran actor Jackie Shroff, and made his debut opposite Kriti Sanon in Sajid Nadiadwala's film Heropanti, a remake of the Telugu film Parugu.

Early life

Tiger Shroff was born as Jai Hemant Shroff on 2 March 1990 to Indian film actor Jackie Shroff and Ayesha (née Dutt). He has one sister, Krishna, who is three years younger. Shroff's paternal grandparents were Kakubhai Shroff, a Gujarati astrologer, and Rita Shroff, an ethnic Turk from Kazakhstan, while his maternal grandfather was Air Vice-Marshal Ranjan Dutt, a Bengali, who was married to Claude-Marie de Cavey, a Belgian countess. He did his schooling at the American School of Bombay and attended Amity University.

Shroff helped Aamir Khan build his physique for Dhoom 3. He also holds a fifth degree black belt in Taekwondo.

Acting career

In September 2009, Shroff was said to have declined the lead role in the remake of TV show Fauji. In January 2010, it was reported that Subash Ghai would be launching Shroff in the remake of his father's 1983 film Hero, though Shroff eventually rejected the offer. In May 2011, it was reported that Aamir Khan was also keen on signing Shroff, however, the news was eventually termed as false. In June 2012, Shroff was finally signed on by Sajid Nadiadwala to make his debut in Heropanti.

Heropanti

Heropanti [Big Attitude] is a Bollywood romantic action film directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Actors Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon make their Hindi film debut with the film, alongside Prakash Raj as an important supporting role. This is a remake of the Telugu film Parugu, Heropanti released on 23 May 2014. The film received mixed reviews from critics, but managed to become a box office super hit. The satellite rights were bagged by Sony Entertainment Television.

Plot

Chaudhary (Prakash Raj) is a very well known and respected man in his village. He is a very strict patriarch of the Jatt family consisting of four brothers – Chaudhary himself, Bhuppi (Samar Jai Singh), Pappi (K. C. Shankar) and Sukhi (Prashant Singh). On the night of her marriage, Renu (Sandeepa Dhar), the elder daughter of Chaudhary, elopes with her boyfriend, Rakesh. Chaudhary decides to find them at any cost.

Chaudhary and his men manage to locate two of Rakesh's friends from different places and beat them up. Chaudhary and his men bring them over to his place and one of them reveals a Bablu's (Tiger Shroff) name and that he might have an idea where Renu and Rakesh are. At first when Bhuppi, Pappi, Sukhi & the gang confront Bablu and attack him to find Rakesh, Bablu single-handedly beats up all of them but is hit in the head and loses consciousness.

Kriti Sanon

Kriti Sanon (born 27 July 1990) is an Indian model and film actress. After beginning with modelling, she made her acting debut with Sukumar's Telugu psychological thriller film 1: Nenokkadine. Her first Bollywood film was Sabbir Khan's romantic action drama Heropanti, for which she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. In 2015, Sanon starred in the romantic action comedy Dilwale, one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of all time.

Early life and background

Sanon was born on 27 July 1990 to Rahul Sanon, a Chartered Accountant and Geeta Sanon, an Associate Professor at Delhi University. She has one younger sister, Nupur Sanon. Sanon did her schooling from Delhi Public School, R K Puram and completed Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication, from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

Career

Sanon made her acting debut in 2014, with Sukumar's Telugu film 1: Nenokkadine, a psychological thriller, in which she played the role of Sameera. The film generated mixed reviews from critics.The Times of India critics stated Sanon "looks pretty" and "acts well". while the reviewer at Sify.com stated that Sanon "looks gorgeous", though her performance is "okay".

Subscription business model

The subscription business model is a business model where a customer must pay a subscription price to have access to the product/service. The model was pioneered by magazines and newspapers, but is now used by many businesses and websites.

Rather than selling products individually, a subscription sells periodic (monthly or yearly or seasonal) use or access to a product or service, or, in the case of such non-profit organizations as opera companies or symphony orchestras, it sells tickets to the entire run of five to fifteen scheduled performances for an entire season. Thus, a one-time sale of a product can become a recurring sale and can build brand loyalty. It is used for anything where a user is tracked in both a subscribed and unsubscribed status.

Tiger

The tiger (Panthera tigris) is the largest cat species, reaching a total body length of up to 3.38 m (11.1 ft) over curves and exceptionally weighing up to 388.7 kg (857 lb) in the wild. Its most recognisable feature is a pattern of dark vertical stripes on reddish-orange fur with a lighter underside. The species is classified in the genus Panthera with the lion, leopard, jaguar and snow leopard. Tigers are apex predators, primarily preying on ungulates such as deer and bovids. They are territorial and generally solitary but social animals, often requiring large contiguous areas of habitat that support their prey requirements. This, coupled with the fact that they are indigenous to some of the more densely populated places on Earth, has caused significant conflicts with humans.

Tigers once ranged widely across Asia, from Turkey in the west to the eastern coast of Russia. Over the past 100 years, they have lost 93% of their historic range, and have been extirpated from southwest and central Asia, from the islands of Java and Bali, and from large areas of Southeast and Eastern Asia. Today, they range from the Siberian taiga to open grasslands and tropical mangrove swamps. The remaining six tiger subspecies have been classified as endangered by IUCN. The global population in the wild is estimated to number between 3,062 and 3,948 individuals, down from around 100,000 at the start of the 20th century, with most remaining populations occurring in small pockets isolated from each other, of which about 2,000 exist on the Indian subcontinent. Major reasons for population decline include habitat destruction, habitat fragmentation and poaching. The extent of area occupied by tigers is estimated at less than 1,184,911 km² (457,497 sq mi), a 41% decline from the area estimated in the mid-1990s.
