'I woke up like this. 󾆴🏻 FLAWLESS is an apt description of this Northern Song dynasty ceramic pillow of a recumbent boy. Not only is it full of auspicious symbols for blessed family life, but is also inscribed with a poem by its collector—the Qing dynasty emperor Qianlong, who was known for his voracious appetite for collecting antiquities—in which he commented that upon sleeping on this pillow, one could dream of being an "incarnation of a butterfly."
