14 (fourteen /fɔərˈtiːn/) is the natural number following 13 and preceding 15.
In speech, the numbers 14 and 40 are often confused. When carefully enunciated, they differ in which syllable is stressed: 14 i/fɔərˈtiːn/ vs 40 /ˈfɔːrti/. In relation to the word "four" (4), 14 is spelled "fourteen".
Fourteen is a composite number, its divisors being 1, 2, 7 and 14.
14 is the 3rd discrete semiprime (2 × 7) and the 3rd member of the (2·q) discrete semiprime family. The number following 14—15—is itself a discrete semiprime and this is the first such pair of discrete semiprimes. The next example is the pair commencing 21.
The aliquot sum σ(n) of 14 is 10, also a discrete semiprime and this is again the first example of a discrete semiprime having an aliquot sum in the same form. 14 has an aliquot sequence of 6 members (14,10,8,7,1,0) 14 is the third composite number in the 7-aliquot tree.
Fourteen is itself the aliquot sum of two numbers; the discrete semiprime 22, and the square number 169.
Leslie Kai Greene (born July 12, 1975), known professionally as Kai Greene and sometimes Kai L. Greene, is an American IFBB professional bodybuilder. His most recent victory was the 2013 Prague Pro. He was the first runner up (2nd place) at the 2012, 2013, and 2014 Mr. Olympia competition.
Greene was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. From the age of six, he was raised in foster care and residential treatment center placements. According to his online biography, his rapid physical growth and development drew the attention of his seventh grade English teacher, and since his behavior in school was troublesome, he was introduced to teenage bodybuilding competitions.
Greene became an enthusiastic bodybuilder, competing in the National Physique Committee (NPC) and aiming to move into the IFBB. He perceives his success in the NPC as mixed. Although he won the 1999 NPC Team Universe, he was disappointed and took a five-year break from competitions, before re-emerging in the 2004 NPC Team Universe contest, which he won again. This victory qualified him for a career as an IFBB professional bodybuilder.
Knowing
Is what people tell you
That you're thinking wrong
Embrace you,
But they really mean 'So long'
You talk to them
They laugh aloud
Yet they run to you
In any crowd
Please talk to me again
I need you
We're dancing
We will come and dance near you
We want to learn
Let us come and sitar with you
Distort my ears when
The music's loud
Yet you raise your hatchet
In the yellow crowd
Please talk to me again
I need you
Knowing
Is what people tell you
That you're thinking wrong
Embrace you,
But they really mean 'So long'
You talk to them
They laugh aloud
Yet they run to you
In any crowd
Please talk to me again
I need you
