Teach Yourself is an imprint of Hodder Education that specializes in self-instruction books. The series is most famous for its language education books, but its titles in mathematics (including algebra and calculus) are also best sellers, and the series covers a great many other subjects as well.
Like many similar series, the Teach Yourself series has always used a common design for all of its books. Most older titles are covered with a distinctive yellow and blue dust jacket, but over the years the publisher has changed the cover design several times, using an all-blue paperback format during the 1980s, a larger photographic or painted front cover with a black stripe containing the title in the 1990s, and recently adopting a yellow rounded rectangle with a black border as their primary logo in the 21st century. For 2010, the books have had a total redesign, and for the first time will be printed in colour. The website has been revamped to coincide with the "relaunch".
The Teach Yourself books were published from 1938 until 1973 by the English Universities Press. Most titles published during the Second World War were aimed at helping the British nation survive as well as improving knowledge in the subjects that would improve the war effort. The books in the Teach Yourself language series prior to 1973 were published in a hardback format and emphasized the mastery of grammar.
CP Lee (Christopher Paul Lee, PhD, born 1950) is a musician, author, broadcaster and lecturer from Manchester, England.
Christopher Paul "CP" Lee (born 19 January 1950) is a writer, broadcaster, lecturer and performer who started playing in the North West folk and beat clubs of the 1960s with his band Greasy Bear and became a lynchpin of the punk rock explosion with his next band Alberto y Lost Trios Paranoias (other members included Jimmy Hibbert, Bruce Mitchell, Les Prior, Bob Harding, Simon White, Ray "Mongo" Hughes, Tony Bowers, John Scott and Captain Mog). In 1977 Lee wrote the "snuff-rock" musical Sleak, which ran for several months in London's Royal Court Theatre and the Roundhouse. It subsequently had a run at Privates in New York City in 1980. Alberto y Lost Trios Paranoias split up in 1982 after releasing three albums. Lee went on to record an album under the name Lord Buckley, and worked as a music journalist.
When We Were Thin (published October 2007) is a personal memoir in which Lee recounts how he produced one side of the first Factory Records release, ate muffins with Andy Warhol, drove a table with Wreckless Eric and was Elvis Costello for a day.

Love built this passion
Wrath wrought it strong
Know your place, noble one
Go harvest Babylon
Can't hold down this cardinal pain
cannot bear this searing flame
Hate myself raging mad
fear myself as my day turns black
"Can you imagine how it feels
when I come to you
Can you imagine how it feels
when I'm unleashed, when I'm pure"
it's the spirit of necrofilian age
to praise lifeless to praise decay
broke my rapture took away the pain
turned to lifeless, wicked, lame
"Can you imagine how it feels
when I come to you
Can you imagine how it feels
when I'm unleashed, when I'm pure"
So pure...
Rejoice you men!!!
