"A Boy" (Korean: 소년이여, Sonyeoniyeo) is a song recorded by the South Korean singer G-Dragon. It was released as the fourth and final single from his debut album Heartbreaker. G-Dragon stated that the song was released as an answer to the plagiarism controversy that surrounded his singles "Heartbreaker" and "Butterfly" when several people were telling him to quit singing, with G-Dragon answering that he "will not quit."
Although the end of G-Dragon's single "Breathe" included a teaser of "A Boy"'s music video, the single was not released as the following single. Instead, G-Dragon released the song "Butterfly." A couple of weeks after the release of "Butterfly," "Soneoniya" was officially confirmed and released as the fourth and final promotional single for the album. G-Dragon stated that the song's lyrics, which was written by the artist solely, are about the thoughts and struggles he went through as a young boy when he became YG trainee at the age of 13.

Sept. 24, 2015/Toronto - Sept. 24/Toronto - Nick Davies is the British reporter who exposed the phone-hacking scandal in Rupert Murdoch’s newspaper empire, which resulted in the demise of the News of the World and sparked Britain’s Leveson Inquiry into the culture, practice and ethics of the press. Davies’s subsequent book, Hack Attack, provides a primer on the power of investigative reporting. A freelancer, he writes regularly as a special correspondent for The Guardian. Davies also played a key role in the Guardian’s publication of secret U.S. military and diplomatic cables obtained by WikiLeaks. Davies was in conversation with investigative journalist Gillian Findlay, co-host of CBC’s the fifth estate.
He was only five years old when his adoptive parents decided they didn't want him anymore … so they gave him away to a complete stranger – on the Internet. In a fifth estate investigation called “A Boy Named Moses,” Gillian Findlay looks at the unregulated practice of what is euphemistically called “rehoming.” “It's a very comforting way of saying trafficking in children,” says Mary Ellen Turpel Lafonde, British Columbia’s Children Advocate. Moses was adopted from an orphanage in Liberia by a couple from British Columbia, but soon they found him too troublesome to keep. They found Internet chat rooms and forums where people, like themselves, posted ads about adoptions gone wrong. They quickly found a willing taker in Texas and Moses’ adoptive father dropped him off at a Houston hotel w...
Canadian journalist Mohamed Fahmy, who worked for Al Jazeera in Egypt, never expected he would go to jail just for doing his job. But in his first ever television interview since release, Fahmy describes 400 days of utter hell, some of which he spent locked up with hardened prisoners and violent jihadists. This week he sat down with the fifth estate's Gillian Findlay in Cairo and told his whole story - from the horror of conviction, to his disappointment in Canada's prime minister, to what he thinks will happen when his new trial starts Monday. Gillian Findlay and family members Potted Potter The Unauthorized Harry Experience
A special fifth estate investigation – with teams across the globe: Gillian Findlay in Turkey, Mark Kelley in France and Adrienne Arsenault in Belgium. Adrienne Arsenault investigates why so many of the Paris attackers -- and many others who carried out earlier terror attacks in Europe -- come from one neighbourhood in Belgium: she looks at what the people in the community think and why authorities seem so incapable of finding and stopping the culprits. Gillian Findlay reports from Istanbul that the family of Alan Kurdi, the Syrian 'boy on the beach,' is coming to Canada. The photo of his tiny, soaked sneakers and red T-shirt embedded in the sand sparked international outrage and promises of change for refugees. Now several members of the Kurdi family are now on fast track to resettle i...
