JULY 10, 2016 7:00PM ZILKER PARK (IN THE FIELD NEAR THE VOLLEYBALL COURTS) 2200 STRATFORD DRIVE AUSTIN, TEXAS "BE THERE OR BE SQUARE!!!"---OR UM, "BE THERE OR BE SPHERICAL!!!" #PopUpDJ360 will be a groundbreaking #femaleDJ performance in many ways: 1. I will be performing, #PopUpDJ style, on my full set-up -Pioneer Nexus 2000 CDJs -Native Instruments KontrolS4 -MacBook Pro -Studio Speakers -Audio Technica Headphones ALL ON MY OWN PORTABLE POWER SUPPLY 2. FOR THE FIRST TIME EVERRRRR!!!! viewers will be able to experience a #PopUpDJ stunt in 360!!!! This means that you will get the full Virtual Reality experience when you watch the video with VR glasses, or on a 360 supported computer/cell phone. I will be recording with my 360Fly camera and that video will be on my YouTube channel and on the 360fly website. Additionally I will be recording with two IPhone6s's, a GoPro Session, a GoPro Hero3+, and I will be live streaming on YouTube Live!!! 3. I will be making my way into the middle of the field on my E300s Razor Electric Scooter. I will be towing a wagon containing all of my other equipment and blasting my latest mix on the JBL speaker mounted on my scooter. As soon as I am set-up, that music will be off and I will take over! 4. I will be DJing from a custom-made (by me) Plexiglass Podium. I made the Podium "shell" and I also gave it my unique flair by adding on various adornments, lights, lettering, glitter, etc... and then I made sure it was extra strong by using lots and lots of Resin. :) In the 100+ degree weather... For the past 3 weeks... OH WHAT FUNNNNNN!!!!!! but it was defiantly all worth it, because it is one of the most incredible works of art I've ever seen! (unbiased opinion) I knew that I needed to create something epic to carry off #PopUpDJ360 and have it live up to my expectations. They are high for this one. A while back someone sent me a link to a YouTube video where an orchestra played Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons", in a greenhouse. That video was so moving, it really stuck with me for all this time. Then, when I got my 360 camera and saw how beautifully it captures the world, I knew that this would be the perfect opportunity to mix the 360 technology with my #PopUpDJ stunts. #PopUpDJ360 will be intense, moving, captivating, ground-breaking, history making, and booty shaking!!! I will take you on a musical adventure through the four seasons AND I WILL DO IT ALL ON MY OWN PORTABLE POWER SUPPLY!!!!! Seriously, this is a first of its kind is soooooo many ways! You really don't want to miss it, but....if you can't make it, there will be a SHIT LOAD of video footage, and with the VR recording it will be just like you were there!!! :) This is going to be fucking awesome!
