Oil and natural gas are produced by the same geological process according fossil fuel suggestion: anaerobicdecay of organic matter deep under the Earth's surface. As a consequence, oil and natural gas are often found together. In common usage, deposits rich in oil are known as oil fields, and deposits rich in natural gas are called natural gas fields.
In general, organic sediments buried in depths of 1,000 m to 6,000 m (at temperatures of 60 °C to 150 °C) generate oil, while sediments buried deeper and at higher temperatures generate natural gas. The deeper the source, the "drier" the gas (that is, the smaller the proportion of condensates in the gas). Because both oil and natural gas are lighter than water, they tend to rise from their sources until they either seep to the surface or are trapped by a non-permeable layer of rock. They can be extracted from the trap by drilling.
The largest natural gas field is South Pars/Asalouyeh gas field, which is shared between Iran and Qatar. The second largest natural gas field is the Urengoy gas field in Russia. The gas field Haynesville Shale Louisiana-Texas has been projected bigger than South Pars, since this a new well it has not been officially recorded its overall power.
This gas field covers an area of 9,700 square kilometres (3,700 sq mi), of which 3,700 square kilometres (1,400 sq mi) (South Pars) is in Iranian territorial waters and 6,000 square kilometres (2,300 sq mi) (North Dome) is in Qatari territorial waters.
The field consists of two independent gas-bearing formations, Kangan (Triassic) and Upper Dalan (Permian). Each formation is divided into two different reservoir layers, separated by impermeable barriers. The field consists of four independent reservoir layers K1, K2, K3, and K4.
The K1 and K3 units are mainly composed of dolomites and anhydrites while K2 and K4, which constitute major gas reservoirs, comprise limestone and dolomite. A massive anhydrite (the Nar Member) separates the K4 from the underlying K5 unit which has poor reservoir qualities. The gross pay zone in the South Pars field is approximately 450 m thick, extending from depths of approximately 2750 to 3200 m. Reservoir strata dip gently to the NE. The average thickness of the reservoir units declines from South Pars (some 450 metres (1,480 ft)) to North field (385 metres (1,263 ft)). As in other reservoir structures in neighboring areas, the reservoir in the Qatar Arch is cut by a set of NNW-SSE trending faults.. Diagenesis has a major effect on reservoir quality of the Field .

National Iranian Oil Company (شركت ملي نفت ايران)

The South Pars Field was discovered in 1990 by National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC). The Pars Oil and Gas Company. a subsidiary of NIOC, has jurisdiction over all South Pars-related projects. Field development has been delayed by various problems - technical (i.e., high levels of mercaptans and foul-smelling sulfur compounds), contractual issues and, recently, politics.
Gas production started from the field by commissioning phase 2 in December 2002 to produce 1 billion cubic feet per day (28 million cubic meters per day) of wet gas. Gas is sent to shore via pipeline, and processed at Assaluyeh عسلويه.
Condensate production from South Pars is currently 200,000 barrels per day (32,000 m3/d), and by 2010, could increase to over 500,000 barrels per day (79,000 m3/d). As of December 2010, South pars gas field's production capacity stands at 75 million cubic meters (2.6 billion cubic feet) of natural gas per day. Gas production at South Pars rose by nearly 30% between March 2009 and March 2010. The field's reserves are estimated at 14 trillion cubic meters (490 trillion cubic feet) of natural gas and 18 billion barrels (2.9 billion cubic meters) of natural gas condensates. Production at South Pars gas field will rise to 175 million cubic meters (6.2 billion cubic feet) per day in 2012.
NIOC is planning to develop the field in 24 to 30 phases, capable of producing about 25 billion cubic feet (710 million cubic meters) to 30 billion cubic feet (850 million cubic meters) of natural gas per day.
Each standard phase is defined for daily production of 1 billion cubic feet (28 million cubic meters) of natural gas, convert|40,000|oilbbl of condensate, 1500 tonnes of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and 200 tonnes of sulfur, however some phases have some different production plans.

National Iranian Oil Company (شركت ملي نفت ايران)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Iranian_Oil_Company

Iranian $40 Million Oil Platform sinks to bottom of Persian Gulf
A $40-million (U.S.) engineering structure belonging to Iran's South Pars gas field to be used in offshore platforms sank into the Gulf as it was being installed, media reports said on Wednesday.
"An investigation is under way," Maritime Industrial Co. (SADRA) managing director Mehdi Etesami told the ISNA news agency, without giving an official reason for the incident.Iran later called for foreign help to recover the gas platform from the seabed, its Mehr news agency reported, in a rare request by an industry isolated by sanctions.
The equipment was built by SADRA, an affiliate of the industrial wing of Iran's Revolutionary Guards, over a 30-month period.
The incident occurred Monday night as the 1,850-tonne jacket developed for South Pars Phase 13 sank to a depth of 80 metres, media reports said, adding that there were no reports of casualties.
Because of its links to the Guards, SADRA is subject to sanctions imposed by the European Union and the United States over Tehran's controversial nuclear program.
Along with other industrial subsidiaries of Guards engineering wing the Khatam al-Anbiya group, SADRA was in 2010 awarded a $5-billion contract to develop Phase 13 after Western energy majors withdrew over the sanctions.
Tehran considers the development of the South Pars field, which is jointly owned by Qatar, to be a strategic priority.
Iran says it currently produces about 650 million cubic metres of gas daily, including 280 million from South Pars, most of which is used for domestic consumption.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in early January that Iran plans to double the field's production capacity by summer 2013, but the accident is expected to delay the launch of Phase 13 by several months.
Once completed, Phase 13 is to produce around 56 million cubic metres of gas daily.
Major Western companies that previously operated in South Pars, among them France's Total SA and Anglo-Dutch giant Royal Dutch Shell PLC, withdrew from Iran between 2007 and 2010 after sanctions were imposed over Tehran's atomic ambitions.
Iran, which has the world's second-largest natural gas reserves after Russia, claims it is able to develop South Pars on its own by giving many of the projects to companies affiliated to the Guards.

Iran calls on UAE to stop departure of Singapore-flagged tanker
Iran has urged the United Arab Emirates not to allow the departure of a Singapore-flagged vessel that caused damage to an Iranian oil rig in the Persian Gulf.
Habib Jadidi, the director of Phase 13 Consortium of the South Pars gas field, says the Alpine Eternity commercial ship, operated by Norwegian Transpetrol oil company, collided with an Iranian-owned oil and gas platform in the Persian Gulf in March and left immediately. The tanker was then towed to a UAE dyke to undergo maintenance. Iran says the Norwegian oil company should compensate the damage caused to the oil rig. Under a cooperation treaty between Iran and the Persian Gulf states, each country is obliged to take action if a vessel causes damage to any of the platforms in the region.

In the 19th century, natural gas was usually obtained as a by-product of producing oil, since the small, light gas carbon chains came out of solution as the extracted fluids underwent pressure reduction from the reservoir to the surface, similar to uncapping a bottle of soda where the carbon dioxide effervesces. Unwanted natural gas was a disposal problem in the active oil fields. If there was not a market for natural gas near the wellhead it was virtually valueless since it had to be piped to the end user.
In the 19th century and early 20th century, such unwanted gas was usually burned off at oil fields. Today, unwanted gas (or stranded gas

For years, the North Carolina commercial fishermen have been bearing the brunt of attempts from outside interests to seize control of North Carolina residents' food supply. The industry is being fined and regulated out of existence for admitted personal gain. This is a report that outlines only a portion of what NC fishermen have gone through in order to be allowed to provide locally-caught seafood, as well as the parties interested in the destruction of their industry and the individual roles of North Carolina law makers in helping to push this agenda.

Your gynecologist has recommended that you undergo surgery to remove vaginal fibroids. But what does that actually mean?
The uterus is part of a woman's reproductive system - it's the organ that contains and protects a growing fetus during pregnancy.
Fibroids are non-cancerous tumors that grow from the inner or outer wall of the uterus. They are quite common - as many as 20% of women over 30 will develop fibroids sometime during their lifetimes.
In most cases fibroids do not cause any discomfort and are never detected. Occasionally, however, fibro

Parallel to its diplomatic engagement with World Powers to try and resolve the nuclear crisis, the Islamic Republic of Iran is engaged in a public campaign to persuade the media and public opinion of its narrative regarding the crisis. A dominant theme in this narrative is Iranian victimization and mistreatment by a so-called bullying-hegemonic-West. Meanwhile, the P5+1 – the United States, Russia, China, France, Britain and Germany – have shown no inclination to directly discredit the narrative or seek to undercut its influence, in which Tehran claims it has done no wrong in the nuclear realm.

Today, unwanted gas (or stranded gas without a market) associated with oil extraction often is returned to the reservoir with 'injection' wells while awaiting a possible future market or to repressurize the formation, which can enhance extraction rates from other wells. In regions with a high natural gas demand (such as the US), pipelines are constructed when it is economically feasible to transport gas from a wellsite to an end consumer.
In addition to transporting gas via pipelines for use in power generation, other end uses for natural gas include export as liquefied natural gas (LNG) or conversion of natural gas into other liquid products via gas-to-liquids (GTL) technologies. GTL technologies can convert natural gas into liquids products such as gasoline, diesel or jet fuel. A variety of GTL technologies have been developed, including Fischer-Tropsch (F-T), methanol to gasoline (MTG) and STG+. F-T produces a synthetic crude that can be further refined into finished products, while MTG can produce synthetic gasoline from natural gas. STG+ can produce drop-in gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and aromatic chemicals directly from natural gas via a single-loop process.[9] In 2011, Royal Dutch Shell’s 140,000 barrel per day F-T plant went into operation in Qatar.
Natural gas can be "associated" (found in oil fields), or "non-associated" (isolated in natural gas fields), and is also found in coal beds (as coalbed methane).[10] It sometimes contains a significant amount of ethane, propane, butane, and pentane—heavier hydrocarbons removed for commercial use prior to the methane being sold as a consumer fuel or chemical plant feedstock. Non-hydrocarbons such as carbon dioxide, nitrogen, helium (rarely), and hydrogen sulfide must also be removed before the natural gas can be transported.[11]
Natural gas extracted from oil wells is called casinghead gas or associated gas. The natural gas industry is extracting an increasing quantity of gas from challenging resource types: sour gas, tight gas, shale gas, and coalbed methane.
There is some disagreement on which country has the largest proven gas reserves. Sources that consider that Russia has by far the largest proven reserves include the US CIA (47.6 trillion cubic meters),[12] the US Energy Information Administration (47.8 tcm),[13] and OPEC (48.7 tcm).[14] However, BP credits Russia with only 32.9 tcm,[15] which would place it in second place, slightly behind Iran (33.1 to 33.8 tcm, depending on the source). With Gazprom, Russia is frequently the world's largest natural gas extractor. Major proven resources (in billion cubic meters) are world 187,300 (2013), Iran 33,600 (2013), Russia 32,900 (2013), Qatar 25,100 (2013), Turkmenistan 17,500 (2013) and the United States 8,500 (2013).
It is estimated that there are about 900 trillion cubic meters of "unconventional" gas such as shale gas, of which 180 trillion may be recoverable.[16] In turn, many studies from MIT, Black & Veatch and the DOE predict that natural gas will account for a larger portion of electricity generation and heat in the future.[17]
The world's largest gas field is the offshore South Pars / North Dome Gas-Condensate field, shared between Iran and Qatar. It is estimated to have 51 trillion cubic meters of natural gas and 50 billion barrels of natural gas condensates.
Because natural gas is not a pure product, as the reservoir pressure drops when non-associated gas is extracted from a field under supercritical (pressure/temperature) conditions, the higher molecular weight components may partially condense upon isothermic depressurizing—an effect called retrograde condensation. The liquid thus formed may get trapped as the pores of the gas reservoir get depleted. One method to deal with this problem is to re-inject dried gas free of condensate to maintain the underground pressure and to allow re-evaporation and extraction of condensates. More frequently, the liquid condenses at the surface, and one of the tasks of the gas plant is to collect this condensate. The resulting liquid is called natural gas liquid (NGL) and has commercial value.

About this project: A few years ago I realized that if I wanted for my son to grow up with basic human rights and liberties afforded to him, then it would be necessary for me to be his advocate for preserving those freedoms in the meantime. I formed the organization "Carolina Liberty PAC" as an outlet for advocacy, but over time the bulk of my work has been centered around simply informing other people of the things that I learn along the way. I have found myself becoming the de facto reporter of many events simply because national mainstream media professionals in the room weren't providing substantial information that my friends back home wanted to know about what transpired during the meetings.
Over the past year I have contributed articles, documentaries, and newsletters to Pundit House, Ben Swann, Natural Triad Magazine, Spread Liberty News, and of course local government-reform groups, among others. In my travels across North Carolina, I have learned of a long but quiet train of abuses and usurpations by government officials on every level. I have now formed this media project because it is my dream to dedicate myself to giving a voice to the victims of injustice by telling their stories - but in order to do so, I need your HELP and SUPPORT. As a single mother who home schools, my schedule and my budget tends to be stretched to the max. I want to make it clear that I have not received a single penny, nor have I asked for any payment or reimbursement, from anyone for covering their story. I do however ask that if you, as a viewer, enjoy my journalism and would like for me to be able to continue in this venture, send me a CONTRIBUTION of $5 or $10, the same amount that might otherwise be spent on going out to see a movie. While I detest asking for money for this work, I also recognize that getting by in day to day life comes first, and the time and energy required for putting the information together as I do IS a full time job. Help me succeed and continue in this project so that I can work for ALL OF US and for our children to have a more free NC.

There is a lot of content that I wanted to include in this video. but for time's sake wasn't able to. The commercial fishermen are also hindered in their activities by lawsuits filed against them individually from government entities, the state's failure to fund the dredging of an inlet (last session the NCGA raised licensing fees once again so that the fishermen are forced to pay for maintaining the state's inlet (essentially another toll), while the state will only provide 1/2 of 1 percent of the gas tax budget - a tax that we all pay for these very purposes - meanwhile the state highway account continually increases in funds), the inability of the state to reconstruct the Bonner Bridge (the only transportation access to Cape Hatteras) due to a lawsuit filed by the Southern Environmental Law Center, and much more. Perhaps a follow-up video will be in order sometime down the road? Leave your input - THANK YOU!

Occasionally, however, fibroid tumors can cause problems. Complications from fibroid growth can include:
* Pressure on the urinary system.
* Pressure on the intestines.
* Interference with the reproductive system
* Or infection.
Because these tumors can grow to be very large, surgery is usually recommended in order to restore health and to protect the uterus.

Now it's time to talk about the actual procedure your doctor has recommended for you.
On the day of your operation, you will be asked to put on a surgical gown.
You may receive a sedative by mouth...
and an intravenous line may be put in.
You will then be transferred to the operating table.
To perform this procedure, your doctor will need unobstructed access to your uterus, so your feet will be raised, separated and placed in canvas slings - holding your legs in a position much like that position used during a routine gynecological exam. To begin, your genital area will be clipped or shaved ...Patient Education
and swabbed with an antiseptic solution ...

and sterile towels are draped around until only the vulva is exposed.
Then the surgeon will use a gloved hand to conduct a vaginal examination and will check the size and location of the uterus by pressing on your lower abdomen.
Your doctor will then use a retractor to open the vagina.
Once the cervix is visible, a forceps is used to grasp the front lip of the cervix ...
and to pull it forward - causing the uterus to open.
Through that opening, your doctor will insert an instrument called a hysteroscope.
A hysteroscope allows the surgical team to insert all necessary optical and surgical instruments into the uterus. Patient Education
At the beginning of the procedure, a harmless gas or fluid will be introduced into the uterus, causing it to expand.
By inflating the uterus slightly, your doctor is better able to reach the operative site.
Next, a wire loop is inserted. This loop is used to grab the fibroid tissue and snip it free from the muscular wall of the uterus. Patient Education
When your doctor is satisfied that all fibrous tissue has been removed,
the hysteroscope and all other instruments are withdrawn. The gas or fluid is allowed to escape ...
and the uterus returns to its normal shape.

President Rouhani inaugurates largest phase of South Pars gas field
Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani has inaugurated the largest phase of South Pars gas field in the country’s south. Delivering a speech at the opening ceremony, the president drew attention to the fact that the project has been completed under Western sanctions.
Phase 12 of the South Pars gas field is located in the south-eastern bloc of the major gas field and on the margins of the Qatari maritime border. The project has cost seven billion dollars. Officials say the output from this latest phase is equal to that of three standard phases.

The South Pars / North Dome field is a natural gas condensate field located in the Persian Gulf. It is the world's largest gas field, shared between Iran and Qatar. According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), the field holds an estimated 1,800 trillion cubic feet (51 trillion cubic meters) of in-situ natural gas and some 50 billion barrels (7.9 billion cubic meters) of natural gas condensates.
This gas field covers an area of 9,700 square kilometers (3,700 sq mi), of which 3,700 square kilometers (1,400 sq mi) (South Pars) is in Iranian territorial waters and 6,000 square kilometers (2,300 sq mi) (North Dome) is in Qatari territorial waters.

Natural Gas Supply & Demand: Drilling & Gas Exploration - Alan Greenspan (2003)
Natural Gas Supply & Demand: Drilling & Gas Exploration - Alan Greenspan (2003)
In the 19th century, natural gas was usually obtained as a by-product of producing oil, since the small, light gas carbon chains came out of solution as the extracted fluids underwent pressure reduction from the reservoir to the surface, similar to uncapping a bottle of soda where the carbon dioxide effervesces. Unwanted natural gas was a disposal problem in the active oil fields. If there was not a market for natural gas near the wellhead it was virtually valueless since it had to be piped to the end user.
In the 19th century and early 20th century, such unwanted gas was usually burned off at oil fields.

NC Fishermen: An Endangered Species
For years, the North Carolina commercial fishermen have been bearing the brunt of attempts from outside interests to seize control of North Carolina residents' food supply. The industry is being fined and regulated out of existence for admitted personal gain. This is a report that outlines only a portion of what NC fishermen have gone through in order to be allowed to provide locally-caught seafood, as well as the parties interested in the destruction of their industry and the individual roles of North Carolina law makers in helping to push this agenda.

Occasionally, however, fibroid tumors can cause problems. Complications from fibroid growth can include:
* Pressure on the urinary system.
* Pressure on the intestines.
* Interference with the reproductive system
* Or infection.
Because these tumors can grow to be very large, surgery is usually recommended in order to restore health and to protect the uterus.
Patient Education Company
Patient Education Company
and sterile towels are draped around until only the vulva is exposed.
