Robert Getchell (born 1936) is an American screenwriter. He wrote the 1974 film Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore and created the sitcom based on that film, Alice.

Washington County Children's Chorus performed in multiple locations and venues throughout France's Morvan Region from June 20-29, 2014. On the final day, their tour culminated by singing for a Vesper Service at Notre Dame de Paris. Here WCCChorus traveled to Dun-les-Places to participate in a 70th anniversary commemoration & memorial of a massacre occurring in the town during WWII. The event was covered by France's national news & featured Tenor Robert Getchell, singing "Le Chant de Partisans" or "French Resistance Song" accompanied by WCCChorus with Hailey Cates-Wright on drum. Many dignitaries were present including Former President François Mitterrand's son, Gilbert Mitterrand. Les Chœurs du Morvan étaient en concert en l'église St loup de St Honoré-les-Bains dimanche 9 octobre 2016. Cet ensemble de 130 personnes a interprété deux messes de Charles Gounod : la Messe aux Chapelles et la Messe de la Ste Cécile, et un Pater Noster. Le chœur a uni ses voix à celles de trois solistes: Isabelle Savigny, Hubert Denis et Robert Getchell. Les Chœurs du Morvan étaient en concert pour la 12e année à st Honoré-les-bains en l'église Saint-Loup. Le 9 octobre 2016, ils donnaient la messe de la Sainte Cécile sous la baguette du chef de choeur Jean-Michel Blanchon. Trois solistes participaient à cette aventure. Aux côtés d'Isabelle Savigny, soprano, et Hubert Deny, basse, Robert Getchell, un chanteur américain qui a fait souche en Morvan, dans le petit village d'Ouroux.
