Emily Erin Deschanel (/deɪʃəˈnɛl/; born October 11, 1976) is an American actress and producer. She is best known for starring in the Fox crime procedural comedy-drama series Bones as Dr. Temperance Brennan since 2005.
Deschanel was born in Los Angeles, California, to cinematographer and director Caleb Deschanel and actress Mary Jo Deschanel (née Weir). Her younger sister is actress and singer-songwriter Zooey Deschanel. Her paternal grandfather was French, from Oullins, Rhône; her ancestry also includes Swiss, Dutch, English, Irish, and other French roots.
Deschanel attended Harvard-Westlake and Crossroads School in Los Angeles before graduating from Boston University's Professional Actors Training Program with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater.
In 1994, Deschanel made her feature film debut in It Could Happen to You. Her next notable role was in Stephen King's Rose Red in 2002. Then she appeared in Cold Mountain, The Alamo, and Glory Road and was named one of "six actresses to watch" by Interview Magazine in 2004.
David Boreanaz (pronounced /bɔːriˈænəz/, Italian: [boɾeˈaːnad͡z]; born May 16, 1969) is an American actor, television producer, and director, known for his role as the vampire Angel on the supernatural drama series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, and as FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth on the television crime drama Bones.
Boreanaz was born on May 16, 1969 in Buffalo, New York, where his father, Dave Roberts (né Boreanaz), was working as a weather forecaster and children's show ('Rocketship 7') host as Dave Thomas, for ABC affiliate WKBW-TV. His mother, Patti Boreanaz, was a travel agent. He has two older sisters, Bo and Beth. He is of Italian descent on his father's side (the surname Boreanaz is of Slovenian-Italian origin and was originally spelled "Berginc"). His mother is of half Slovak and part Irish, German, French, and Swiss descent.
When Boreanaz was seven years old, the family moved to the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, area after his father took a job at WPVI-TV, the ABC affiliate in Philadelphia. Boreanaz was raised Catholic and attended Rosemont School of the Holy Child at Rosemont, Pennsylvania and then high school at Malvern Preparatory School in Malvern, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York in 1991 with a degree in cinema and photography. While in high school he was a keen athlete and played on the school football team.
Michaela Conlin (born June 9, 1978) is an American actress, best known for her role as Angela Montenegro on the Fox crime procedural comedy-drama Bones.
Conlin was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, to a Chinese mother, an accountant, and a father of Irish descent, a contractor.
She performed in her first play at the age of six, and continued to appear on stage in numerous Pennsylvania community and regional productions. She attended Parkland High School, where she starred in productions of Bye Bye Birdie and The Crucible. After graduating from high school in 1996, she moved to New York to study acting and was accepted into New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. While working toward her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater, she appeared in several productions at the Atlantic Theater Company and the Playwrights Horizons Theater School, Stonestreet Studios Conservatory and traveled to Amsterdam to study with the Experimental Theatre Wing's International Training Program.

Bones is a joint production by Josephson Entertainment, Far Field Productions and 20th Century Fox Television. Plot: A young boy wanders into an old-folks home and expresses interest in the old-time minstrel shows. Plot: In the Antilles, old Tyler finds a treasure map and sets sail with his ship, the Sarah Tyler, and its crew composed of only two children: Satan and Jude. Meanwhile Jude and Sidney have fallen in love and plan to marry.
